The mission of the company is their main priority and to accomplish that mission they first need to learn the skills of the craftsmen and women from around the world. Then they take those textiles and products and produce some of the most interesting and unique bags (and accessories) on the market. This combination provides a new market place to these artisans and producers who otherwise may only have access to tourists that come through their local market places. With Nena & Co their textiles and fabrics have world-wide reach and produce higher returns back to artisans. Go check out some of the YouTube testimonials and packing videos uploaded by their customers and, if you get the chance, grab yourself a bag of your own! You will see in no time why they have such a loyal and dedicated following.

But, over the course of the years it stated to become more marketed. New styles are introduced weekly not making it so unique anymore. My last purchase was on sale. The leather has a very plastic feel to it all around. It's making me wonderful if it was a bag with quality control issues. I can't even return it. It's hit or miss now and overpriced. I want the Artisans to be paid fairly but I just don't like the bag styles now and the overall direction of the company.

Amidst the autumnal hues, the newest style suitcase feature a combination lock accessible to the TSA. Which I thought was pretty cool. As part of the process I took the luggage to the location in Lehi, Utah and explained to the clerk that I was here on business and would be needing the item repaired and returned back to me in Utah by 9/4. Since it was a Saturday It would be shipped until Monday, and stated would she please rush this shipment in order to me the turnaround time. She happily stated yes and we notated the document as such. In checking the status on Wednesday with the repair facility, they showed no record of receipt so I called back to inquire about the tracking number. Emily initially stated that they do not keep record of the shipment, although I have a document that shows where the tracking information would be kept. She then, after my insistence to find it was able to locate the tracking number. I look up the information and it shows arrival via ground shipping on Friday night this week. With that being the case the delivery will not be able to see the request. Frustrated with this, I contacted the Store Manager who was less than responsive nor understanding about the dilemma. Rather than listen and be emphatic, he was quick to state, "well we took care of shipping as a service for you" vs. actually taking the time to listen to the problem. I understand that the location mailed the item for me, but had I known that they would not rush it as I had asked and that we would make the deadline I could have mailed it express myself. Its business like this that continues to disappoint and impact my view of retail as we know it. The problem is not the manufacturer here, rather at the local level when you find that a manager would rather be right than acknowledge that a misstep might have been made and act or try and remedy the problem.

Got us a fitting room, to put the pile of clothes my oldest daughter was getting. Now the clothes are super cute! My issues were one: 1. sizes. Things seem to sell out quick and there were not a lot of sizes. We would have bought more but they didn't have her size, it has already sold out. 2. Price tags were not marked correctly. 3. Check out. She double rang, left several sensors and almost forgot to give my card back. I bring up the sensors cause I live out of state, and that would have really sucked! 4. Back to the sizes, We ended up having to 6 different stores to get sizes we needed. 5. Returns - one of the items ripped in one day. I brought back 4 day later with receipt. That store didn't have the size, and sent me to another store. The other store gave me beef about the return because I didn't have the tag, but I had the receipt. Also I needed to exchange one dress. And guess what, I had to go to another store to get that size. AND the dress had gone on sale, but they told me I couldn't have a price adjustment, and it had been less than a week. But the clothes are super cute.

I'm happy to say that I got almost all the clothes that I needed and at a great price (they were having a sale on all their shirts). I also want to comment on the amazing customer service! I really couldn't have had a more amazing experience at this store if it weren't for the employees there helping me! They were friendly to greet us when we came in, they helped pick out clothes that I might have liked, and they were overall very friendly and were willing put in their input on the outfits that I chose. It was seriously like I was shopping with friends and I couldn't have asked for more. I absolutely appreciate the time and the hard work, it had totally made my day! If you're looking for great clothes and a great experience, this is the place to go!

You may not know it, but Volcom--the surfing, skateboarding, and snowboarding "lifestyle…read moreretailer"--is a rarity to this neck of the woods. With several locations in California and Hawaii, and international locations as exotic as Bali (2), Japan (7), Australia (3), Argentina (6), France (14), it's a wonder to find a second location to go with Park City here in little ol' Utah. Especially since Utahns only do a lot of their three areas of focus (snowboarding), a little of another (skateboarding), and, because of Utah's land-locked geographical location, none of the third (surfing). Still, here we are! Although it is like many retailers focused on the surfing, skater, and snowboard communities (like Zumiez, Vans, etc.), Volcom's focus seems more on the clothes than the accessories. So, if you, your spouse, and your kids all vibe with Volcom's style, you'll all be able to find things to wear, especially in the summer: A lot of swimsuits and board shorts, tees, caps, sandals, rash guards, hoodies, jeans, and flannel. My only beef is with the sizes ... not much for the big, not much for the tall. While not a lot many jaw-dropping outlet mall prices, their current "Essentials Kit" of 2 tees, 1 pant, 1 hoodie, and 1 hat is an excellent and well-priced way to get indoctrinated into the Volcom way.

I live in Scottsdale, Arizona and my church is Catholic ---more traditional Catholic, so many of us…read morewomen wear dresses and veils to Mass. I am 36 years old and knew I wanted a modest dress. When I met with the planners at the church, they shared with me the Wedding Policy which included some tips for brides on modesty. In it, there were three websites for examples of modest wedding gowns, which I found very helpful. One of the websites was for Moments Made. I was surprised to see how many of the dresses I loved on their website! However, I was bummed to see they were not local to Arizona. But fortunately for me, I travel to Salt Lake City often for work and already had a trip planned there. I was SO excited to book an evening appointment at Moments Made while I was there for work. I went in on a Tuesday evening and pretty much had the entire place to myself. My consultant, Amber, was SO helpful. She made me feel like a princess, ensured she had a grasp of what I was looking for. And luckily, I had already obsessed over the website enough where I had about 8 dresses picked out. We tried on many of them and (as I'm sure happens with most brides), the one I thought would be the top contender wasn't really jiving with me. Towards the end of my appt, I was torn between two dresses. Amber was patient with me and allowed me to try both on again and spend quite a bit of time in each. She even dressed me up with a veil, had me hold flowers, put on jewelry, etc. It really helped to be able to see the whole look come together. What I appreciate most is how thoughtful she was in helping me narrow it down. She could tell I was very torn and I didn't have any family or friends present with me to help make the decision. She asked me "What do you NOT like about each dress?" I told her for Dress #1, I didn't like that it was sparkly and it was a bit too heavy. For Dress #2, I told her that I didn't like that it was V-Neck (I wanted sweetheart) and I wanted it to have a tad fuller of a skirt for an A-line dress. Very quickly, she was able to show me that Dress #2 could be altered to make it sweetheart and also add layers underneath to make it a fuller skirt. On the contrary, it would be pretty impossible to remove the sparkles off of Dress #1. And just like that, I had my answer and was able to to say "yes" to the dress! Amber also helped me to try to find a local seamstress in Arizona (I ended up going with someone else, but still appreciated her going out of her way). She also picked out a veil and earrings for me that looked really nice. I figured "Oh well I'll buy them and probably end up getting something else later on." But sure enough, those were the earrings I ended up wearing on my wedding day! I also got a store credit for buying the dress and was able to buy some nice sweaters while I was in store as well. Surprisingly, as someone who is very fickle (especially with fashion), I am shocked to say that I purchased my dress in October, got married in June and NEVER once did I waver on purchasing this dress. It was so perfect for me and I got so many compliments on it. I look back at the pictures now and feel like it is a timeless, classic dress. I felt so beautiful in it and am very grateful to Amber for helping me narrow down the perfect dress for my big day!
