Shopping at this location is always a great experience. Excellent customer service with attentive employees that assist me in finding the products I'm looking for. If the product is not in stock at this store they have offered to order them for me online. This store's atmosphere is sleek with organized and simple displays and clean aisleS. Also, the lines at the check-out lines are short and expeditious.

On the way in,…read morewe met a sales associate that was very nice, and I suspect is one of those rare helpful kind. We made it upstairs to look at what my wife was looking for. We were the only shoppers in the department. It was just after opening, and COVID is likely keeping things slower. There was three associates standing at the register 20 feet away. One gave a perfunctory stop by to see things were "ok" somewhere 5-10 minutes after we started to shop. We've found customer service is not a strong suite for Macy's over the last few years. Normally, we shop Nordstrom's, but in this case Macy's had a better selection of what we were looking for. We found it, bought it, and left. As we left we both knew why we normally shop Nordstrom's. Yup, I'm old school. I'm willing to pay a few shekels for quality service and advice from a good store. Macy's is not that store, although the store itself is very nice.

They've got great home stuff in the back, new spices and bottled stuff always coming in, and if you pick through racks - nice bags, accessories, delicious soaps, perfumes, high quality shampoo and conditioner, great clothing finds, and omg the shoes... hit or miss, but sometimes you find a pair that just grabs you. This Maxx has a bit more designer stuff than I've found at other locations, which makes this place even more dangerous and irresistible. If this TJM was a big sticky spiderweb, I'd be the big, dumb juicy bug tangled up in it using my dying breath to squeak out "please take my money, and hey, can I get this bag unlocked?" This location is always crowded. Everyone else seems to know how good it is, too. I struggle to find parking every time I visit. Worth it. But also TJM - I have a bone to pick with you - PLEASE STOP pushing your store credit card on me. This does not improve your customer service when some poor cashier that's working an exhausting holiday shift gives me some 2 minute speech about how great this thing is and I've just got to stand there with hopefully what looks like a smile on my face and pray they'll stop hounding me. Ugh. The thorn on the beautiful rose that is TJ Maxx...

Is there such thing as some Targets being better than other Targets? If you ask me, absolutely!!…read moreThere is a Target somewhere else that is filthy, always out of stock, and the service is not good at all. This Target was stocked with all kinds of things, along with being very clean and welcoming. I can't think of that many people who want to shop at a Target that has products all over the floor but I have seen another Target that is consistently like that. I love a clean, organized Target dude! The study I haven't done shows people will buy more if the environment looks like and has more products to offer. When you walk in to this Target, you get the typical "bullsye's playground". It is neat and I like that different stores have different products in there--they are not all the same! I found a few good finds in this area. I feel like I need to also point out one of my favorite things in the store as well...Their Oh Happy Dani section was highlighting Black History Month and the products were wonderful. They had notepads, mugs, wall decor, and even a puzzle. Their women's clothing section is pretty top notch. I ended up getting a few tees for super cheap (only $8). Not only did they have a great selection but I also just always love the vibes in Target's like this so I love just trotting around like I don't have anywhere better to be. There may be a Target that is closer to me but I really think I prefer this location!!

But if I need a flowy dress for a tea party, I know where I can find one.

Some people work hard so they can…read morebuy a house, some people work hard so they can get a nice car...I work hard so I can get what I want at Altar'd State. Ironically, every time I go into this dang store, I say to myself, "I am just going to browse" and then I leave with multiple bags. A $100 visit to Altar'd State or a $100 visit to a therapist? Don't bother convincing me to go see Kathleen, LCSW again; I already swiped my card at this gem of a store. I am still trying to convince Blue Cross Blue Shield to reimburse me for the dress and shoes I purchased the other day. The first time I found Altar'd State, I thought to myself, "what the heck is that place?". From the outside, it looks like a literal chapel. The inside is just as breathtaking too. This specific location is located right within Mountain View Village so you can get anything else done while you are in the area. The location is absolutely perfect. They have doors on either side that you can walk through. The doors are a bit heavy but they even have a beautiful touch to them. When you walk inside, you immediately get a wiff of a fresh aroma. I love how it smells in here! As aforementioned, the overall vibe in here is amazing! They have a water ball (? I don't know what else to call it) near the check out area that is really fun to look at. The ceiling and the chandeliers are beautiful...AND the products they sell are amazing of course!!! I don't know who is designing this stuff and I don't know how much they make...but it is not enough. Every time I go into Altar'd State and try something on, it feels like it was literally made for me. I have found so many things I cannot live without while I have been browsing this store. So so so many beautiful shirts, dresses, shoes, you name it. The pricing depends on how you look at it. Typically their pieces start at $70-$80. They are definitely a bit steep. However, they do have a clearance area near the fitting room with some killer deals! I have spent $80 on a few items but I have also bought stuff for as low as $9.99. As much as I love this, it does kind of become a punch in the gut with how it went from $80 to $9.99... I have found cute shoes here and there is so many cute dresses I have found here and wear religiously. Their products are all great and I would definitely rather find cute products in the clearance section but sometimes I can't help but buy the item while they have it in my size and everything. On more than one occasion, I have found ranch inspired products, like a $14 dish towel that says "Ranch dressing is a blessing". I am glad we are on the same page, Altar'd State. The staff is always really nice and helpful. They greet people at the door without being super pushy, like car salesmen. When I was changing in the fitting room, the girl knocked, addressed me by name, and asked me how I was doing & if I needed anything multiple times. Things like this can really go a long way. The cashiers are always quick and nice. I have truly never had a bad experience here in that regard. I am obsessed with Altar'd State and I will continue going back for many many years to come. I tell all my friends how awesome it is and like I said, I can't leave this place empty handed. I can't say enough good things about Altar'd State!!

There were so many cute styles to choose from. I wanted to try on many different outfits but... not one, and I mean not one had my size in stock. When I entered the store, there were two sales clerks. One was a younger man, and the other was an older women. The older sales clerk said "We can order your size in", "We can order anything thing into the store". Umm No. The whole idea to come to the brick and mortar store is to try the clothes on now, and buy it right then and there, if not, I will just stay in the comfort of my own home, or even on my cellphone log onto the website, and have it shipped directly to me. That way I won't waste gas, and fight the traffic. The bonus coming to the store is to get one on one customer service, you can try on the outfits, and you buy it, and wear it right away, and you don't have to wait for it to be shipped to the store. I don't live that close so this option isn't in the best interest for me. However, the styles are really cute. Side Note: Customer service was lacking at this location
