Hollister is not generally a store i would ever step foot in, But you do what you gotta do sometimes. I walked and and right away was greeted by a young lady welcoming me to the store and asking if i needed any help. Since i have no clue about girls cloths i needed lots of help!!!!!!! She brought me over to the rack with the shirts i needed and helped me find the correct size which was very nice of her. Everything was 50% off and then my wife emailed me a coupon for another 25% off. Overall store experience was very good. workers were great above and beyond. I hear someone YELL at my from the top of her lungs that they are closed to my 10 year old sister. I quickly told my sister we are leaving. I DIDN'T appreciate the tone of voice we were spoken to so i proceeded to tell the "manager" to not speak to a customer or child like that. Once i said that, the manager got nasty and sassy and extremely unprofessional including her 3 employees that were there laughing the whole time at her actions. We didn't refuse to leave at all, did not want my child sister seeing that type of behavior from people and it was an embarrassment to watch. I entered the Huntington store at approximately 7PM tonight (Monday, Dec 30, 2024). The saleswoman…read moredid not say a single word to me the entire time I was in the store. I was totally ignored. There was only one other customer in the store who left before I did. The saleswoman stayed behind her register the entire time I was there. I was interested in a trying on a blouse but I was completely put off so I left. I returned at 7:43PM to purchase the blouse but the doors were locked. I knocked twice, gestured toward my watch and the saleswoman shook her head and mouthed the word "closed" from behind her register. She wouldn't even come to the door! I check the store's hours online before I went shopping which said the store closed at 8PM. Therefore, I was surprised at the premature locked doors and total disregard for their customers. I love Johnny Was clothing and I'm a good customer so in my opinion, this behavior was very unexpected and extremely unprofessional. I wouldn't think that it's corporate policy to close stores before closing time, especially when there's a customer who came back to make a purchase 17 minutes before closing time! Johnny Was... you've got to try harder than this!!
