So, for example, I have been trying to decide between all of the Chanel Chance perfumes for some time, and everywhere I've gone, I've asked if they had samples so I could test them out. Every Single Place has simply said NO! However, at Dillard's, not only did Sami take the time to talk to me about all of their perfumes, but she also said "no, we don't have samples BUT I WILL MAKE YOU SOME." So now, I have my handy dandy little samples and the ability to compare the different scents without having to drive to the mall every time I want to try them! Second example! I've been wanting to get started on the Clarisonic and switch face wash for quite some time, as Clinique has been causing a reaction to my face. THAT DOESN'T WORK!!! People base much of their decision to purchase items on prices. It should be clearly marked or there should be a scanner that the customers can use or associates should be willing to find out the prices for their customers. We shouldn't have to get in another line for the register to find out how much something costs. What if grocery stores and department stores did this?! This location took a step up a few years ago after Sephora in-store boutique opened. Ladies now have a great self-shop, low pressure cosmetics, perfume, and cologne shopping option in the mall beyond Macy's and Dillards. JCPenney continues to retool its image and is attempting to focus more on house brands / private labels. In my lifetime, their house brands have always been solid and at good or better quality than name brands.
