There were no marked prices on the jeans so I took several pairs to the associate by the dressing room and asked her if she could tell me how much they were. She told me that they start at 19.99 and go up and that there was no way that she could tell how much each pair was and that I would find out at the register. What???!!! So, after deciding which pairs of jeans I wanted, I had to get in another line at the register just so they could scan them to find out the prices, so then I could decide if I wanted to pay that much for the jeans??! THAT DOESN'T WORK!!! People base much of their decision to purchase items on prices. It should be clearly marked or there should be a scanner that the customers can use or associates should be willing to find out the prices for their customers. We shouldn't have to get in another line for the register to find out how much something costs. What if grocery stores and department stores did this?! The associate (I think she was the manager because she seemed like she was in charge) was unapologetic for their dumb policy. Ugh!!!

We got some of the worst service we've ever experienced over at Macy's and so we walked our little feet to the other side of the mall and we find ourselves at Dillard's, where we recovered the best service I've ever seen at this mall. So, for example, I have been trying to decide between all of the Chanel Chance perfumes for some time, and everywhere I've gone, I've asked if they had samples so I could test them out. Every Single Place has simply said NO! However, at Dillard's, not only did Sami take the time to talk to me about all of their perfumes, but she also said "no, we don't have samples BUT I WILL MAKE YOU SOME." So now, I have my handy dandy little samples and the ability to compare the different scents without having to drive to the mall every time I want to try them! Second example! I've been wanting to get started on the Clarisonic and switch face wash for quite some time, as Clinique has been causing a reaction to my face. Not only did I receive the best service I think I've ever received in my life, but Amy also asked if she could check in with me in a few days to make sure my new face wash and Clarisonic was working for me and not causing a rash or break out.
