Maybe cause it's a Friday-- I mean who doesn't love Fridays, huh?! Today I was on the hunt for a leather belt and a designer bag but only found a belt which was more than I expected. I wasn't sure I was going to find a leather belt here but thought since it's the "fanciest" place the springs has to offer-- why not check anyway. I was pleasantly surprised when I found a beautiful all leather belt in my size-- it was a fashion miracle! I got the last small at $15 and you definitely can't beat that price. I think it's made by Halogen which is a pretty sturdy and classic brand. Any who, I made it out with a fabulous purchase and so very pleased about that and it was also nice to see friendly faces when being checkout at the registers. Looking forward to finding more amazing items in the very very near future-- like maybe tomorrow! It's a 2 thumbs way way up for this Nordy's!

Notice I put…read more"nice" in quotes, because I think my Arc'teryx ski pants are pretty darn nice but the squares at the courthouse said they're "not appropriate" last I was there. Well it's not my fault I wanted to get a few runs in at Monarch to calm my nerves before fighting the ticket those pigs slapped on my Subie. Anyway, I needed pants. Banana Republic was having a sale, which meant it was more crowded than Breck on a powder day. The salespeople were buzzing around, and while I respect the hustle, there are certain lines you do not cross. While I was dropping trou in the changing room, one of them asked me "How are those pants fitting, Trevor?" Hold up. I've got my pants around my ankles. There are only two people who can address me when my pants are down: my buddy T-Dawg, and Jesus. T-Dawg was at his place, and I don't see this salesperson rocking sandals and walking on water. Needless to say, I bailed before they could disrespect my privacy again. I wore my good hiking pants to court and saw T-Dawg get his license back, so it all worked out in the end. Probably wouldn't hit up this Banana Republic again though.

I recommend getting their credit card, as you always get extra percentage off on top of the crazy sells already. Parking is free, and there is plenty at briar gate.

Then I found some amazing deals for my husband! 2 tees for under $9 each, 1 pair Levis $17 and Cremiux long sleeved paisley dress shirt for $20! Wow! I was blown away at such great deals and there was so much more to look through that if I had more time I would've bought way more! I had to get rid of the shirt. Then the other day I bought underwear there, and had exactly the same reaction. I finally realized this chemical smell is IN EVERYTHING in the store. Pathetic that I won't be able to shop there anymore.
