This is more of a warning for anyone that might want to buy something for someone before they might actually need it. You can't even exchange unused items after 60 days. This issue is also not specific to this JCPenney location. It just happens to be the location that I purchased my items from. I bought my grandson some Thereabout jeans during a sale right before school started. Unfortunately, he outgrew them before he had a chance to wear them. If you live in Texas then you know that we're still pretty much having summer even though it's almost November. So it's just starting to get cool enough for jeans. Anyway, I went to JCPenney to see if I could exchange them for a bigger size and was told that unfortunately after 60 days, they won't even exchange them, give you store credit, nothing. You're just stuck with your purchase. I have never been a regular JCPenney shopper (I wasn't pleased with the quality of my purchases in the past). If I ever do happen to shop there again, I will definitely not be buying anything that won't be worn or used immediately. I think I'll just stick to TJ Maxx and Marshalls. Even Ross will give you a store credit for the current price of the item and you have a year warranty on Cat and Jack brand at Target (i'm exchanging another pair of jeans for the very same reason. Thank goodness it hasn't been a year, yet.) I guess I'll be donating these jeans to someone else since my grandson cannot wear them and I'm stuck with them. I also won't feel any pity when JCPenney's announces more store closings.

One of my favorite sets is now one of my greatest disappointments. I wore it twice (it's now ready for dry cleaning). My heart is heavy because after 2 wears the upper inner thigh is showing signs of cheap material (lint balls). See attached pics. I called the store (Robin) said they were not aware of any issues. They did offer to refund the sales price (what I paid) but that's not the desired resolution. I bought a jacket and pants to match. Yes, you guessed it, no longer in stock. The right thing to do is to replace the jacket and pants with a comparable set. Chico's don't be like other stores that sale cheap clothes under a well known label but now sacrifice quality.
