This place is soooo good. I had only done hot pot once years ago so we didn't know how things worked here the waiter was very kind and told us everything we needed to know. We got a plethora of meats and veggies and I can say they all are seasoned amazing. My favorite was the spicy chicken and spicy bulgogi. If you get the spicy soup, it definitely is spicy. I say that because sometimes restaurants say it's spicy when it's not, but this was but the flavor was 10/10. We definitely will be back.

It was my first time at Hot Pot World in Tampa and overall it was a solid experience. The space is big, open, and very clean, with a large selection of ingredients to choose from. The setup is spacious and the tables are generous, you can comfortably fit up to six people at one table without feeling crowded. The waiter was very attentive, which I appreciated, and they had more soup bases to choose from than I'm used to. The music selection was great and really added to the vibe. One thing to note: there's no conveyor belt at this location, so you do have to get up and grab each ingredient yourself. I'm used to spots where vegetables and other items come around automatically, so that took a little getting used to, but it wasn't a dealbreaker. Overall, the experience was good. If you liked going to The Boil Spot when they were open, you'll definitely appreciate this place. If you're into Korean BBQ and hot pot, I'd recommend giving it a try.

I have been to a lot of hot pots all I've the country now, and this was my first self serve hot pot! I actually was alittle nervous because I'm a trained food manager and after you learn about all the crazy stuff that can happen, holding times at buffets scare me. But this place was on top of all there items cold and hot. Checking on temps and making sure that everything was under the correct temp. They have everything you would want, especially for the lunch price that was under $25 for both hot pot and bbq. A lot of great sauce options and toppings, and dessert. They have a small hot section for buffet items, little fried items, which was nice. Service was great my server kept on checking on me, asking to replace my bbq, she didn't know I was a pro at hot pot! But she was very nice! Well recommended!

This was my third time doing hot pot. This time around I was excited to try the hot pot here with a friend who it was her first time. We opted for only hot pot, but we could have also done k bbq which is $5 more. Some places want groups to do all the same but this one did not. You can do one or the other or both but the other people you are with can choose too. Our service was really great and helpful. Always checking on us, making sure if we needed anything he was right there. Really enjoyed the options available especially the blue crab. Also the crawfish was really tasty even though at first I didn't remember how to eat these. I loved the dumplings, tofu, seafood, and veggies inside my hot pot. I def picked items I'd not buy and make myself at home which is why I loved this even more. I preferred doing the seafood and veggies inside the hot pot. I tried the meat in it and it sure is better grilled in my opinion. Glad we tried this. $20.99 for all you can eat at lunch is a good deal. I did see pics of crab legs. But they did not have any at all. Also as an FYI, if you have a bday, and a group of like 5 or 6 or more, the birthday person is free.

Hot grill and 2 soups, serve yourself as you go hot ready food available, fried rice, noodles, springs rolls crispy chicken wings

This place is amazing ambience feels inviting when you walk in because we were nervous never trying hot pot before but 100/10 would recommend me and my husband are already talking about wanting to go again and we went last night. The food was fresh and tasted so good. We were nervous because we had never been to a hot pot but everyone is so helpful and friendly and the service and experience is also amazing. Soooo good !

We had a great experience but only took one photo (sigh). They have plenty to choose from.

The soup was flavorful. Nice clean place. Good variety and selection. The hostess, staff, and all the employees were hospitable and professional; greeted us with bright smiles. Our server, Vu exceptionally attentive and friendliness made the hot pot and bbq experience memorable.

Came in for my birthday with the fam. We hadn't been here in some time although we did really like it. It's still really good. The place is one of the cleanest hot pot places you'll find. I typically do t like hot pot due to it looking sketch however not this place. Food is fresh, place is clean, staff is super friendly.

Sooooooo many difference things to try

Made the trek to HPW for the first time recently and had an amazing experience. It was my younger sister's birthday, and we researched all the best hot pot spots in the Tampa Bay Area and this one came out on top. It was well worth the 40 minute drive. The restaurant was busy - the staff were friendly and our server was knowledgeable and kind. He even brought her a crown and a special dessert and they sang happy birthday! The food was great - you can do Hot Pot or Korean BBQ (or both) which was a great option for our table. The soup bases were good, and they had a huge array of meats, noodles, veggies, and so much else. My vegan mother was able to find a ton of things to eat, and all parties were stuffed and happy. Great option for a filling and delicious meal!

The place was very nice. It was clean and the selection was great. The staff was very helpful. And if I was more experienced and knew exactly what seasoning to put on it probably would've been a five star. But since nothing was seasoned, and I spent a lot of time trying to figure out what seasonings to use. It did take a little bit of the fun out of it. But it was a really great time. My son and I had a blast and I will do it again.

Birthday cupcake- and they even sang!

We drove 45 minutes because Yelp listed this place as number 1 for Hot Pot, and we were celebrating daughter's 25th birthday. From the moment we arrived, it was a great experience. We were seated in the back corner, so it was a little more quiet and private, which was nice. Our server explained everything, got our drinks, made recommendations, and produced our pots. He kept our waters filled, and our needs met throughout. Daughter was the only one who wanted both Hot Pot and Korean BBQ, and they do not force everyone to get BBQ if only one orders it like some places do, which was good since hubby and I don't eat animals! Everything was clean and well presented. While this was not my first Hot Pot, my other experiences were negative, but this made me change my mind. The food was super fresh and tasted fantastic. For daughter's bday, they gave her a crown to wear and both a discount and a special lemon cupcake. The next time we do Hot Pot, which daughter LOVES, we will def be back here!

YOU NEED TO TRY THIS HOTPOT Here is 5 reasons why you must try this special hotpot place in Tampa Bay: 1 TACOS - You can make the best tacos here. Sauce bar is complete with all of the tastiest spicy mayo and sauces to add. 2 FREE KARAOKE KTV - You can call and reserve a FREE karaoke room for up to 12 people for 2 hours or more. This free private room is included with purchase of hotpot for each person. 3 Non-Stick cooking plates! One of the rare locations that has easy remote heat controlled non stick cooking plates, so you can even stir fry noodles and rice at your table. 4 All you can eat seafood, oysters, and crab legs. Massive bar filled with any and every type of seafood that you can think of. ALL AYCE. 5 串 Marinated Cumin Lamb Kabobs 串 Authentic chinese style skewers of marinated lamb that can be grilled or hotpot. There are additional dry spices for dipping on the bar. I was shocked at the value and massive assortment of food here. No wonder why everyone is gatekeeping this hidden gem.

Do yourself a favor and get both the hot pot and the bbq. Crazy amount of choices for meats and seafood. I particularly liked the lamb on the bbq and the seafood in the hot pot. 8 choices of broth from supper spicy to regular. Excellent service and the manager was excellent when my wife got something to spicy and had a moment. Can't miss

Do they serve crab legs? I didn't see them on the menu but have seen pictures in reviews that show they do?

Yes, they serve snow crab legs but they are cold. You could always heat them in your hot pot or on the grill

We all got the BBQ option, but not all of us did the Hot Pot. I can't recall if it's the same in the other places (it could be that normally everyone at the Table must choose the same style of cooking). All items were fresh and plenty of variety. Pretty standard food selection, with a few unique offers like crawfish, fried chicken, sushi, miso soup + others I recommend (see below). Disappointing they didn't have regular eggs, only quail. Dessert options included ice cream, cakes, fruits, + sweet Chinese soupy desserts. Other notes: - individual hot pots, communal bbq - fresh ingredients - self-serve stations with gloves, napkins, claw crackers, + utensils - Drinks are slightly more expensive than other places - Self-cook BBQ, however, staff will help if you ask Would Recommend: - Shrimp paste - Crab legs - Teriyaki chicken - fried rice - spring rolls - peeled seasoned shrimp

I like the intimate, cozy setting with semi private booth. The staff did a great job explaining our options. We all enjoyed our cocktails. The fondue experience is amazing and I truly loved the cheese course. It's fun preparing it at the table. The entrée was a bit more of a mixed experience for me. While cooking your own protein is fun, it was not really for me personally. My friend and I chose the grilling option, and the other 2 people at our table opted for the oil cooking method and that's where it lost me a bit. Between the lingering grease smell and the heat from grilling, it became slightly uncomfortable for me. To be fair, I seemed to be the only one at the table who felt this way. For dessert we had the chocolate fondue, absolutely worth it. Ending the night melting chocolate and dipping desserts felt like the perfect finale and my favorite part of the experience. Overall, it's a unique and memorable dining experience. I would gladly return; next time, likely for cocktails, cheese, and chocolate.

In a somewhat run down looking strip mall, the small restaurant was simple, but showing K-music videos on a TV. Unfortunately I couldn't see it from my seat, but I'll change that next visit! Our server was polite, helpful, and attentive. We ordered a ridiculous amount of food since we drove 45m to try it, so had a Kimchi Pajeon, Kimbap, Soon Tofu, and Veggie Fried Rice. The pancake was DELICIOUS-super flavorful and chock full of veggies. I did not care for the Kimbap, only because it had less flavor and was a little more dry than the other items, but it tasted very fresh. The Soon Tofu was spicy and full of flavor. It came with a huge heaping of rice in a cute covered dish to keep it hot - I'm ordering these things for home! The veggie fried rice, for which we opted no egg, was also fantastic, but we ended up taking ,ost of it and the pancake home for leftovers. We were also served Ban Chan - side dishes, of small tastes of seasoned veggies such as bean sprouts, eggplant, cucumbers, broccoli, radish, and more. It was all amazing. Sadly, we had no room for anything else, but I will definitely be back as soon as possible. SO worth the drive and expense!

They were also out of the crab egg roll, out of sweet tea, and out of lettuce in which we like to wrap the bulgogi. No complaints, the egg had a runny yolk which means it was not overcooked like many I have had in the past. The bibimbop sauce is delicious with just the right amount of kick. Waitress brought out banchans, there were six different types, pickled eggplant, nori, broccoli, kimchi, bean sprouts, and cucumbers. Son ordered pork bulgogi. The plate was heaping with pork, and the sauce was nice and thick and stuck to the pork. Spouse ordered beef bulgogi and it took about 10 minutes for his to come out after our son and I had our meals. The plate was heaping, but spouse said the beef was a little bland, but some of the bibimbop sauce took care that. Son and spouse took leftovers with them. We were kind of disappointed in the items they did not have, but the lady waiting on us was nice and we realize they are a small business and when things are busy, it is easy to run out. The interior was a little dark, did not go to the restroom so cannot comment on the cleanliness but what we did see looked clean.
