It's literally a stand in front of Home Depot. For two hotdogs, a bag of chips and one can of soda the cost was $33.

It was nice meeting new friends James & Steve here. Thanks Lavy for bringing the Crummy cookies! The service in here by Tanner and Mike the owner was great! This place was nice, clean, and sports ready to watch! Mike the owner, thank you for your military service and talking with us! It was another hot day so I just drank iced water to stay hydrated! I ended up getting not just one, but both lunch specials! I had the 1/4 Burger with fries and the All beef hot dog with tator tots. Both came with drinks and I probably should have asked them for both as they were included at least to go ones. Their burger was great tasting with cheese, lettuce, pickle, and tomato. I had minus onion. The all beef hot dog was very good as I added mustard, ketchup, and relish. Fries and tots were cooked perfectly. Love the ranch dressing for dipping! This was a great visit! Thank you for those supporting Upland local businesses!!!

This place is owned by a veteran so it's all veteraned out inside, they have TVs up around, a bar area & tables throughout. Cool little spot to come grab some food & beer! We started with the sampler which came with a little bit of everything! Mozzarella cheese sticks so good, cheese pull & all! Onions rings were tasty, well battered, onion not too thick. Wings were nice & big, juicy with tons of flavor! Then some jalepeno poppers, which were good but needed some bacon bit surprises in there to take it to the next level! Other than that I still liked them haha For entrees I got the Philly cheesesteak sandwich which was super good, different than other cheesesteaks that I have had but still super delicious! Then my bf ordered a pastrami burger with curly fries , he very much enjoyed his too! I will say since everything was cooked fresh, it took a bit for our app to come out then for our entrees to come out but I did not mind because when they did, everything was so hot! I loved that! We'll definitely be back again soon to try more things on the menu!

So I guess that's a pretty solid endorsement from the kids. We also tried the Cowboy, which was good and had the flavors you'd expect. The "Hot Chick" sandwich was described as a Nashville hot chicken patty, but there wasn't much heat at all. We ended up adding hot sauce pretty much throughout the entire meal. The onion straws were a miss for me. All the shoestring onions had fried together into one giant piece, making them pretty difficult to share or dip. We also shared some BOJ sliders, which had some nice flavor. The Smoke Haus Fries were a favorite. The cheese sauce appeared to be made in-house rather than the usual nacho cheese from a bag or can, which I appreciated. We regret not trying the tots, which seemed to be pretty popular. The space itself is cool and welcoming without feeling like a sports bar, even though they have screens for the big games. They also have tabletop games for groups and an events calendar with specials and upcoming events. I can see this being a fun spot to hang out with friends. Service was mid. The menu is big, but when we asked for suggestions on what would be enough food for a family dinner, the person behind the counter wasn't much help. The dogs and sliders are about the size you'd expect and tasted great, but the bill adds up pretty quickly with a family. For me, this feels more like a midday bite with a friend than a family dinner at the price. I'd come back for a lunch break and try the tots with another dog, but probably not make this a regular family dinner spot.

As I was buying my sausages. soft pretzels, and potato salad, the lady said very little to me and the gentleman, nothing at all. When I tried speaking German, the lady said she didn't remember much of the language anymore. This blunt, "tell it like it is" way of interacting is pretty much how my family used to be, so I found it familiar -- even comforting. But it's easy to see how this can rub people the wrong way, especially if they're used to American (or even modern German) - style customer service. Everyone who found this rude is making reasonable statements. But to me this is more a case of people who have been doing the same thing for a long time without making updates. Decor-wise, place also seems to recreating the Germany that someone remembers from decades ago. The blue and white bunting, the beer steins, the picture of the Pope and other memorabilia make the place feel distinctly Bavarian, in a touristy way. A lot of places in Germany, even in the more traditional south have moved on. But my hope is that this place does continue until the proprietors retire with dignity or sell the business to some German-Americans with a passion for prepping and selling this type of food.

The blue cheese burger I wished were a bit stronger in blue cheese flavor (as a person who loves lots of blue cheese), but the burger was definitely filling for both the eyes and the tummy. The only thing I wished is that the burger didn't feel as heavy/greasy, but if that were the case, I probably wouldn't have chosen a burger. That said, the grease did feel like it took away from the flavors, making the burger tasting milder than I had wanted. That said, it was very enjoyable overall. The dog menu was surprisingly different from what I've seen. It was surprisingly healthy looking with the amount of vegetables they added to my dog's bowl including some Brussels sprouts. There was no rice at all, which was fine for me since my dog doesn't really like rice. Unfortunately, he is so picky, so he picked out the chicken from the vegetables even with me pre-mixing it, and I think the vegetables are too firm to his liking. However, I appreciate the food being healthy and the portions, even if he himself will not really eat most of it. I'm sure some other dog will do a lot better with the bowl!
