It was a beautiful hike, not that long but challenging for your legs I'm rusty still. But we got to enjoy the beautiful view with seating all the way to the top, it's spring so can you imagine how it looks . The only thing is, you need to hike down the same way you went up. There's two trails that would take you down to the end of a street on the other side from where you started so you would have to come back the same way

Camping with families and friends. The city of San Dimas sponsor a great camp out weekend full of activities. The city provides food, and activities. I will definitely continue to participate their camping activities with the city of San Dimas. Also thank you Orlando and your staff are amazing, they made it so fun and so comfortable for everyone

Love love love this park!!! Not only is it great for dogs of all sizes, it's great for kids too! They have a play ground near the dog park and one near the nature center. During the nature centers open hours the kids can walk thru and explore nature a little closer!

I recently threw my father a surprise retirement party and don't have a big enough house to do so. So, I started looking at local parks and found this one. It is gorgeous. Has many trails, sports fields, 2 picnic areas w/bbqs, a playground, and a dog park. Best of all they have clean bathrooms with t.p. and soap! The 2 reasons why this park did not get 5 stars is because you cannot reserve the picnic areas, its first come, first serve. I got there at 5 a.m. and was able to get the picnic are I wanted. If you are planning a party or some other planned event. I would suggest calling San Dimas Parks & Rec to see if they have reserved the area for any organizations like AYSO.

Horsethief is a beautiful place, and just over the hill there is an escape from the city very peaceful and quiet. There is wildlife though, my boyfriend and I spotted a coyote when we first began our hike. If you're going to hike here wear shoes you don't care about very muddy after storms! I give this place 5 stars!

Great playground for kids... Plenty of benches for parents. Beware of snakes

I love sitting on the bench and looking at the foothills. It's an escape that makes me feel as I went away. You will generally see horses stroll through and always ask the rider first if you can pet them. The restroom is close to playground and is clean. There is a huge table area that is covered and great for parties. There is a dog park next door and sometime careless owners let their pet off leash because...."they are good". Famous words...

Very large parking Lot @ San Dimas Canyon park below Horsethief.

It has a small basketball court and a covered picnic area. Yes, it's old and dated but it is in great condition. It seems like the sun is always shining here which is so pleasantly beautiful! You can always find a squirrel here eating fruit that it picked off Mr. Robertson's tree across the street. The sound of children laughing echoes throughout this park. It still has the old school monkey bars which are perfect for pull ups during my long runs. Every time I stop here there is a puppy playing or a little tyke building some sort of sand castle. This park is very much loved by all the surrounding residents including myself. It would make me so sad if they go through with the destroying of the park. We should enjoy it while it lasts guys! Have a picnic and chat with the squirrels or locals .

Other than folks mistakenly referring to it as 'Finkbinder', we love our local G-town park…read more I think the additional 'd' might come from an old 50's themed restaurant in the Village called Fender Benders (sp?), which closed many years ago - and folks confusing the two. But, that said, only old Glendorans would be making that mistake and yet I hear folks of all ages add the 'd'. The park has lots of amenities we've used since our kids were born and even before... - summer concerts and movies in the park - birthday or event areas (Scouting) - playground - tennis court (other side taken by pickleball :( - skate park - sports fields - horseshoes - volleyball - community center And more. We love walking through the park on the way to the Village. If you haven't been, worth checking out pretty much any day of the week. So many fond memories created at Finkbiner. Even Pokémon Go events, haha.

There are courts for pickleball or tennis, fields for baseball or soccer, picnic tables all over for you to take a load off or paved walkways for you to get your steps in. 5/5 Trees Nothing beats having large trees to give you shade on sunny days. Rainy days are a different story. 5/5 Parking Parking all around the park. You can even park right next to the kids playground. Overall solid park to fit whatsoever your heart desires. So be sure to move and Psalm 119:89, God bless
