This part of the southern Utah landscape is so gorgeous that you can pretty much pull over at almost any opportunity and get a breathtaking, or at least mildly inspiring, view and an opportunity to clamber on something a bit to stretch your legs and exercise your children.
Except, weirdly enough, the Horse Canyon Rest Area, where the viewing isn't much (you certainly can't see Horse Canyon, for instance) and the one place you might have been able to clamber is blocked by barbed wire.
As others note, the main thing this has to recommend it is four open pit toilets that honestly don't smell as bad as they could. No water, no hand sanitizer, no vending machines, no view. That's not nothing, I guess, but it's not much.
