You drive right through it on I-70. There're are endless camping spots. From the established spots like Goblin Valley and The San Rafael River. But the true gems are the little spots that you will find down a bumpy dirt road. Grab a map or check Google earth. There's tons of area to explore. Summers can be brutally hot, so I recommend the spring and fall. Also come prepared. Unless you are near 70 there's not much for cell service. Enjoy your public lands!

If you're getting in late... they keep the front desk open late for late arrivals. $35/night I do believe... and for a last minute effort, that rules. There aren't any modern amenities other than a bitchin' AC & cable &, well, a bed! Ahhhh the creature comforts of living on the road.

The employees were nowhere to be found. It was bad enough that I contemplated leaving $3 cash for my energy drink with a note what it was for, but then finally an older lady appeared and helped get me checked out. If I were the management of the store I would definitely make sure to staff this place better. It would've been easy for many customers to grab and dash if they wanted. Bottom line: I would still stop by again. They have gas, restrooms, cold drinks, snacks, etc. It could be worse, but it could definitely be better too.

Really easy to find off the freeway and beautifully maintained. As you walk into the guestroom, it looks spacious and clean. We even asked if this place was new and was surprised to hear it's been around for several years. We had the top floor corner room with spectacular views of the mountains. The bedding was clean, the restroom was tidy, and we appreciated the complimentary breakfast. As luck should have it, one of us forgot the Kindle in the room and didn't notice till after we drove back to Salt Lake City. We frantically called the hotel to see if Housekeeping found it, thankfully they did. However, it's taken almost a full month to connect with the right person on making payment to mail it back. So, note to self....check and check again BEFORE leaving the room!
