If you're a Harley motorcycle enthusiast-or even just interested in vintage collections-you've got…read moreto stop by the restored Lincoln Hotel for a visit. Two brothers have worked together on this amazing collection of bikes, and they are thrilled to have visitors to show it off to. We wandered in as we were walking the town and immediately were greeted by one of the brothers. He gave us some history on a few of the bikes we were looking at, as well as the building itself. If you go, watch out for the original sign on the wall in the back-it explains what the hotel was used for, how it's "guests" were expected to earn their keep and the rules for staying there during the depression. It's a little slice of history that they have preserved nicely. If you're really lucky, like we were, you might get invited on a private tour of the basement. There, you'll find a wall to ceiling inventory of old motorcycle parts, used when they restore old bikes. I am not a connoisseur of motorcycles, but even I was impressed by the amount of parts and the great condition they were in. There's no cost to visit the museum, but they do sell a few items, mostly tee shirts. A local photographer has his prints showcased here-they are breathtaking! If you are in the market for some beautiful art that captures the heart of this darling town, consider picking up a piece. No matter what you do, be sure to stop by for a visit-you'll be glad you did.

Bugs everywhere. Contacted the owner and all he said was "yeah those bugs are bad". No excuse.read more

Stopped here on our way from our home in Idaho to see our son and his fiancée in Durango, CO. It is…read morelocated just off the 6 directly on our route, so very convenient. It is a two story building with no elevator, which I was aware of. Still, this 68-year-old man dragging two suitcases and a cooler up the stairs gave me some exercise, though we chose the second floor. Adequate free parking. There is an indoor pool to the right as you enter the hotel, with the front desk to the left. There is a "sports bar"(more on that later) and a "steakhouse" on the premises. A very nice young woman checked us in, though it took longer than usual, I think due to their slow computer system. At any rate, I had to run to the bathroom and leave the final steps to my wife. The room was clean, which was most important. Beds weren't very comfortable, but they provide plenty of pillows. Bathroom and shower were small. Shower pressure was so-so. Bathroom fan was great. AC worked fine. Mini fridge and blow dryer provided. There were a lot of families attending sporting events also staying at the hotel. A lot of the kids were roaming free and making noise. We were concerned. However, we were not disturbed at night. We did go to the sports bar for dinner. This was a fairly small room with a bar and stools, some high tables, a few pool tables, and two or three TVs. They had few beers on tap, it appeared mostly domestic, but the very nice young female bartender offered a nice IPA in a can. Hotel guests get $5 off the burgers, which are hand-pressed and very good, and it comes with a side, for a total of $11. The fries and sweet potato fries were average, kind of soggy, and I like them crispy. The food all comes from the "steakhouse" next door, which doubles as the location of the complimentary breakfast, which is the usual scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, coffee, juices, and some other choices. Not bad. All in all, this hotel fulfilled our need for a stopover on our way to see our son. At $200 a night, just an OK value.

Found out we couldn't check in because computer system was down. About 30 min sitting in the lobby, we were told ok to check in. When we started checking in we were told that they didn't have any pet rooms so I couldn't stay there with a pet. I said the reservation has already been paid and has been paid as a pet room since it required extra on the website. They said they couldn't do anything. I stood there until something was done. The manager did NOT seem to care but they "agreed" to put us up in a 2nd level room (of note, no elevators here either). I don't know why they said there were no pet rooms and then all of the sudden did. I mean...maybe it's because it looked like this (see pics) and no one had cleaned it? Anyway stay away from this place.

That review was either wrong or they changed their room policy. They DO accept pets. The town of Price's cheap end motels all had horrible reviews as did most of the towns and cities north of here. So I had just about resigned myself (and my two dogs) to a couple hours of fitful sleep in the car at a pull off or something. -I'm driving cross country and have a budget to adhere to so I can't stay at nicer motels/hotels. Which is fine with me. - Anyways, as I was driving through Price, and passed this little motor inn style place with a vacancy sign and figured what the hell, I know that it said they don't accept pets but they looked empty and I figured I could haggle a little. Was greeted in the lobby by a nice lady. Her husband (?) then came in and they both helped me out. The room was around 40$ and then $5/ pet. So a total of about $50 bucks. Perfect for me. I asked if check out was 11am. They both said that I could check out basically whenever I wanted. Cool. Upon entry of my room I was a tad disappointed. But not overly so. The room is about the size of an average bedroom. Maybe 10x8 or a little bigger? I'm bad at guessing. The bathroom is about the size of, well, it's small. Just a toilet and stand up shower. The bathroom sink is a pedestal sink in the bedroom. Itty bitty fridge and microwave. I will say that last night when I stayed at Americas Best Value Inn in Socorro,NM I paid about the same price (after haggling them down a little) for a huge room that was a little bit more updated. But that was a different state. PROS: +Cheap +Pet friendly +Lovely people running it. +Direct tv +Free wifi that works well +Motor in style, I like being able to see my car right outside of my room + squishy comfy pillows +nice sheets + loved the comforter. Cons: -Small. Super small -Only toiletries are a hand soap and shower soap. Both in bar form. - the floorboard heater is literally falling apart (not sure if this is how you heat the room or if heat is run through the a/c unit) - the a/c is falling apart (but works) - remote does not control the tv. Just the direct tv box - itty bitty tv, but it fits the room If you are just looking for a cheap, simple, and CLEAN place to crash and take a shower then this is it. Suited me fine.
