They say they deliver firewood right to your campsite except when we asked, they did not have any firewood but we could grab some from last years scraps. The bathrooms have not been updated ever. There is a trickle of water in the showers, not enough to rinse shampoo out. The seasonal people all mow their own lots so there is a lawn mower constantly running. There are golf carts driving around in circles all day and night. There was a dirt bike at night racing without lights down the road. Saturday night was Karaoke night with speakers blasting until 11 PM, in addition to people playing very loud music at their campsites. Everyone is drunk during all waking hours. They said there was wifi but there is not. If you want a campground that is absolute chaos, this is the place for you.

We marked our calendars to come back for the haunted tour. Dr. Hawk takes it a bit serious for me, I was asked/told to stop talking twice (I was whispering with my cousin while masked, it was not loud). It is clear that Dr. Hawk expected everyone to sit and listen attentively to her for the full tour, I am an adult and paid for the experience as things come up I think it should be ok to quietly talk to my companion. The cemetery visits were very interesting, some good info/stories and that was fun. I believe that there is something out there but not sure how much in ghosts and some of the ghost hunting equipment and trying to talk to the spirits was a little out there for me, others seemed to enjoy it, and it was only a smaller portion of the tour. The covid practices were very good, hand sanitizer as you enter the trolley, masks covering nose and mouth. Hoped for some more stories and a little less ghost hunting. Entertaining unique night out

We asked her not to pick it apart, we wanted to enjoy it. :) My wife and I have not been on these type of tours before and were not sure what to expect. Be sure that you read about the times that they expect you there and the trolley leaves on time so do not be late. During the trolley tour, the driver who was very knowledgeable and the company does their research. They had many facts, stories, theories and even some of the dirt from the history of Rochester and the Mayo family and the first settlers that are said to still be hanging around. You can tell that they didn't go into this half way, they had plenty of local information, access to places that most people either are not allowed to go or not aware of. There were a few places that we seemed to have exclusive access to during this tour. There were many stops and one was downtown where the old Morgue used to be in the basement of a old hotel downtown. The driver also showed us some common ghost hunting gadgets and how they are used and the theory behind them. We used an EMF detector and an used a device to try to pick up EVPs. It was a neat experience and they didn't try to make things appear, they just were informative. This tour was 3 hours long. It was worth the money. The driver was a fan of scary ghost shows and got a picture with my niece to show his wife. LOL Enjoy the photos.

Years ago, I had two phone interviews with two different folks for a position at IBM in Rochester,…read moreMN. I did well that I got an in-person interview. The company paid for my logging, car rental, and flights between Winnipeg (YWG) and Rochester (RST), through Minneapolis-Saint Paul (MSP). I flew in late at night. Both flights were on time. It's quite the size change between the three airports. MSP Terminal 1 is perhaps twice the size of YWG. RST is maybe a third of YWG. RST is a small airport. It has two runways. Delta and American Airlines fly out of it, with the occasional Sun Country flight here and there. Why is it an international airport? It's due to the Mayo Clinic roughly 10 km north of this airport. It's considered a hub for Mayo Clinic MedAir. Dignitaries would often fly into RST to get care at the Mayo Clinic when I was a resident of Rochester. RST is barely in Rochester. It's next door to Stewartville, which is a rather small city. These days, the latter city is famous for Jimmy's salad dressings and dips. I remember trying to drive northbound for the first time from the airport to the north end of Rochester. It was pitch-black. I had high beams on my rental car all the way until I finally had street lights on highway 63. I recently returned to this airport to check it out. It is nicer than when I was a resident of Rochester. There are clear signs indicating where to go to check in to a flight (ticketing) and where baggage claim was. I remember flying home to Winnipeg after the interview. There was a roof leak at the terminal. There was a huge bucket sitting on the carpeted floor. I am hoping that the roof has been fixed. It's one of the lasting impressions that I have of this airport. Parking remains cheap. It's a $60 maximum parking for a week. The daily maximum is $10. I last parked here over the Christmas holidays eons ago. I returned on New Year's Day to a ton of snow on my car and took some time to clear it off. Good times! For car rentals, you get Avis, Budget, Enterprise, and National. There was clear labelling to fetch your car from the rental parking lot. I remember clearing security quickly. It's an advantage flying out of a small airport. It feels more efficient dealing with a smaller set of travellers. I don't recall ever getting any food or drinks when I flew out of RST. I don't think there's a major eatery. It doesn't matter. There has been more development in the area, from hotels to eateries. You'd probably do better getting food nearby before flying out. It was nice to drop by and see this airport again. I did a lot of reminiscing. It's definitely a much improved airport since I was last here as a traveller who resided in Rochester. (164)

The showers were great. It is dog friendly with a nice big area to walk your dog. It is only about 15 minutes from Mayo downtown. We highly recommend this RV park. It can accommodate large rigs.

She was very nice and DID make me feel comfortable and at ease being in lingerie none the less. I wish I could say the photo results were as positive as that aspect. She had me close my eyes for a LOT of the photos.... so many of them had the same look/feel and honestly it didn't look good, or "sexy artistic" as you might think. You will see she uses this option in a lot of her photos when you browse them. Some of the positions she had me do looked just plain strange when i reviewed the session. I found all my photos to be bland and similar pr just really odd....there was only 1 I really liked and 2 others i found to be mediocre... my bf was also not impressed at all sadly - though he appreciated the effort to have them done. The images I paid for with the groupon (3) were given to me in very poor quality on a disc (which took a LONG time to receive) im assuming with the hope i might resort to buying them from her directly for quite a hefty price.... not pocket friendly in the least.
