Absolutely great thing in Minnesota for all ages! Very cool cave and the ONLY underground waterfall! Definitely worth the trip! Staff is knowledgeable and great!

I loved the one hour tour . Our guide did an awesome job. It cost only $20. We got there early and they were able to get us in an early tour. They have a free parking lot. Drinks, foods, and backpacks are not Allowed in Cave. So make sure you eat and drink before hand. They have a lot of fun stuff to do with the kids.

The absolute definition of a hidden gem, Niagra Cave was such an immersive experience on all fronts. We were incredibly close to the rock formations and waterfall. Our guide Michael was absolutely phenomenal, constantly answering our questions and engaging with us whenever possible. Give him a raise. Overall would definitely recommend this for anyone who is able to climb and descend the steps. It's a really breathtaking experience.

Scenic tours every 20 minutes lasting over an hour. Some elevation change and many stairs but not very strenuous. Waterfall, lot of dripping water, quite wet. Underground slot canyons i.e. high narrow passages that were not claustrophobic for me. Unusual fluorescent and phosphorescent calcite. No resident bats, so there are no restrictions on visiting this cave if you have previously visited a cave that has bats. For that reason, visit Niagara Cave before you visit Mystery Cave. If it is open during winter, this is a mild place to go, about 48 degrees F!

Went in September. This was an amazing experience! The photos posted and the ones you take while you are in there can't capture it. You take a really long staircase deep into the earth. Bring a jacket, hat and gloves... Not kidding. 45 degrees in the damp dark is bone chilly. If you have asthma you might have difficulty breathing in the first large cave area where there is a waterfall crashing and spraying... Once you get beyond that it gets easier to breathe. BUT, after that area, if you are claustrophobic, beware the rest of the tour is the longest skinny crack hallway of all time. Because it is very, very tall, just look up and it won't feel so tight. It is a oneway so if you need to go back in the middle of the tour you can't get lost. There are a couple other small openings, but you are deep in a giant rock crack by a water table in the Earth... There are no creatures as this isn't a regular cave, but there are some fossils in the walls. It wasn't open to the surface at all until its accidental discovery when a farmer's sheep went missing. It had slipped in when part of the turf parted. You can learn tons more on the tour. The tour guide was a college kid who grew up in the area and works here seasonally. Really personable and knowledgable! If you get to this area, I would recommend you visit!

Ever imagine yourself as Indiana Jones? How about being Indiana Jones in an Amish town where your trusty steed is a tractor? If the answer to the latter is a resounding YES, then Harmony is the town for you. Not only will you find yourself in the midst of a scenic landscape, you can also live out your fantasy at the Niagara Cave. Even as an adult, you can still feel the sense of childlike wonder as you step into the entrance chamber that leads you into the cave underneath. Everything there seems to take you a step back to the land before time. Just glance up at the ceiling or look at the cavern walls. There, you will witness the fossilized remains of some living organisms that existed millions of years ago. If that's not enough to make your jaw drop, the underground waterfall and geologic formations of the stalactites, stalagmites, cave bacons, cave straws, and many more will keep you entertained. It's not everyday that you can find a waterfall, let alone in a cave, which is precisely why this gem is such a remarkable place to visit. If you're planning to go there, be aware that there will be lots of steps to take before you get into the cave. Some areas will also be quite a bit of a tight squeeze, so if you're built like a linebacker or sumo wrestler, this cave might not be it for you. For everyone else, the Niagara cave is an experience not to be missed if you're in the area.

One word to some it up ... WOW , this was an amazing experience ! It over 200 ft down there is a waterfall raining in an abyss (hence niagara cave) we got a tour guide to take us (with a group) down. Not to easy to find but really worth it they have mini golf outside and a consesion stand , but it's pre-packaged foods. They have a gift shop with clean bathrooms . To sum it up this really was worth going out of are way to see!

It's one of those times you want to give a place three-and-half stars, but I decided to give these guys the benefit of the doubt. (so I guess the next person on the fence should give it three, to even it out. Heh). Headed here because due to a state government shutdown, the nearby Mystery Cave was closed. The Niagara cave is so called because of the giant (60 foot?) waterfall that is INSIDE THE CAVE. I've been to a number of publicly-accessible caves over the years. Compared to those, Niagara is more interesting in some ways, less than others. It's a very long cave; instead of a bunch of rooms, there are a few very large rooms, and then a lot of thin, but very high-ceiling-ed (up to 100 feet) passageways. Because of this, walking through Niagara cave often looks like walking through an Arizona slot canyon, which is extremely cool. There are basically two large rooms at either end of the slot-canyon like passages - the first one is the waterfall room, which is amazing. The second is at the far end, and is the room most full of traditional cave formations (stalactites, etc.). Other than that, this is a fairly young cave, so there are actually not a ton of those kind of formations around. The staff at the site was very friendly, our tour guide was GREAT; a college kid who grew up in the area. The store up top has a nice shop, with both fancy mineral specimens and plenty of cheaper knick-knacks. If you've got kids, they sell bags of mineral specimens in sand that you can then "pan" for outside in a neat water sluice running next to the shop. There is a nice green area outside, with picnic tables. I could easily see bringing a family here (and indeed, many people did). So, in short: a solidly nice tourist destination, certainly worth the 11 bucks to get in (full adult price, kids and seniors cheaper); not one of the wonders of the world, but a good place for families. And really, that waterfall is pretty freakin' cool.

We marked our calendars to come back for the haunted tour. Dr. Hawk takes it a bit serious for me, I was asked/told to stop talking twice (I was whispering with my cousin while masked, it was not loud). It is clear that Dr. Hawk expected everyone to sit and listen attentively to her for the full tour, I am an adult and paid for the experience as things come up I think it should be ok to quietly talk to my companion. The cemetery visits were very interesting, some good info/stories and that was fun. I believe that there is something out there but not sure how much in ghosts and some of the ghost hunting equipment and trying to talk to the spirits was a little out there for me, others seemed to enjoy it, and it was only a smaller portion of the tour. The covid practices were very good, hand sanitizer as you enter the trolley, masks covering nose and mouth. Hoped for some more stories and a little less ghost hunting. Entertaining unique night out

That alone would be more than enough reason to stay. Also, quiet and relaxing. We decided to stay here because of the Japanese theme. My wife had spent 4 yrs living in Japan. It brought back memories of her time in Japan. The decorum was very well done and surprisingly extensive. The hosts added to the experience. They were fun to talk with, but we only met them because we knocked on their door. Easy to just have a time alone. Also, I had left my camera there, and they were so kind to package it up securely and safely and mail it to me. Sorry I can only give 5 stars!

The kitchen has every dish, pan or accessory you would need. We did a lot of cooking! Cindy was a friendly, super accommodating host! We will definitely stay here again!
