    Karma pizza

[[HIGHLIGHT]]Such a fun, friendly gathering place.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Food options include some small plate- type choices, but go for the pizza. Thin crust done on a wood fired oven. Self ordered, then brought to your numbered table. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Tables set around beautiful bar area.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] So many beer options, but cocktails, cider, wine as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Great place to chill with friends, family.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

Menu December 2025 - so many good options!

[[HIGHLIGHT]]What a fun spot![[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We tried two flights of beer and sausage cheese bread. I like the menu options and wish we lived closer to try more of it. The bar stays BUSY and the food is made to order so you'll want to settle in while you wait for your food.

I'm not a drinker, but I am a food-y. Amazing wood fired pizza, salads and soups. The Bacon Bites are must try! I hear the beer and drinks are outstanding as well. We eat here often. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The building feel's like you are stepping back in time. Very charming and friendly atmosphere[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]].

Instant Karma pizza using #pizzapassport. Seemed like it could have cooked a bit longer. Foldable, but messy. Greek salad was very good, and seriously huge! Beets are very good. Raspberry and Cascadia Amber Ale were what you'd expect. You order food and drinks separately. They bring the food to you after ordering and paying. Drinks are ordered and paid for at the bar. Lots of choices.

If you want a good Brick Oven Pizza.... Head Across the River to Hopskeller in Waterloo, Il. Didn't feel like cooking so headed uptown!! Make your own or pick a specialty!!! They also have Awesome Appetizers and great Craft Beers and drinks!!! Fast Service and always a great atmosphere!!! Live Music too!! Make your own: Pepperoni and Mushroom!!! Raspberry Ale to wash it down.... With the Pizza Passport it was only $8 Stop #4

"Can't Get Enough" Pizza. Cannot recommend enough

The beer is delicious and there is a nice variety. The bartender and guys working the kitchen were all incredibly nice, friendly, and helpful. The service was great. The pizza is absolutely incredible. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The atmosphere/ambiance is top-tier.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]The music choice was also amazing and a breath of fresh air.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]

    Salted Caramel White Russian- delicious!

We stopped by last weekend for some cocktails and their menu did not disappoint! I first tried the Caramel Apple Cider slushy and it was perfectly caramel and apple flavored while still being refreshing and not too sweet. I also had a salted caramel White Russian, which was so delicious. Finally, I had the Blackberry Pom-arita, which was a beautiful color and tasted great as well. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The interior is very warm and inviting (and historic) and it was hopping on a Saturday night.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] We sat at the bar and all of the bartenders were friendly and helpful.

Great spot in a historic building in Waterloo. Seating at the bar, in the main dining room, or bar seats and a few tables upstairs. Order drinks at the bar and food in the room next door. Take your number and have a seat. Food will be brought out when it's ready. Bartender was busy but quick and accommodating. Food came out quickly, salads, the apps, then pizza. Got a beer flight of six - liked 5 of the 6 and the sixth was still ok. Creamy Peach Ale Northern England Brown Ale Chestnut Ale Moi gate Porter Bluegrass Breeze American Wheat Ale Market Cross London Lager The Hopskeller salad was super large! Very good Tenderloin Skewers had great flavor and enough to share. I would have liked the meat more rare but that is a personal preference. We ordered the Fat Bottomed Girls pizza and the Beast of Burden. I really enjoyed both. Plenty of toppings and great crust flavor. I really like the use and naming of other local places on the menu. Small businesses supporting each other is such a great thing to see. Matt, the owner, stopped at our table to see how things were and we all had a nice chat. Very cool! He liked that the six couples all came together with our Pizza Passports. We had a great time and will go back, for sure

Great beer, great tasting pizza but it took over 90 minutes to get two pizzas, and it wasn't even that crowded. You ever go to a restaurant and see somebody come in and sit down after you. And then you see them get served. Several tables were served for us. I mean come on. It was only two pizzas. Really disappointed. Yes, the server offered a couple of free beers, but we wanted food. I think maybe the service could take a few lessons from Domino's Pizza about getting food out faster.

Went to Hopskeller on a whim for a Friday lunch and it definitely did not disappoint. Hopskeller has a great atmosphere in an awesome historic building, but the pizzas are the real star. We had four awesome pizzas that made our lunch experience and frankly our day! We had the "Just What I Needed with ranch dressing and chicken, the "Sweet Child O' Mine" which awesomely combines pesto, pepperoni, red peppers, and balsamic glaze, the "Paradise City" which slaps with prosciutto, bacon, pineapple and Bee Sting honey, and the "Born to Be Wild" which delivers on a meat medley. Their Northern English Brown Ale was outstanding and their beer is always solid. My only complaint is that they don't have experimental taps more often. If your bear Waterloo, Hopskeller is a must stop!

Such a fun place! A hoppin atmosphere, pretty busy on a Saturday evening. There are two floors with high ceilings, plenty of space, lots of seating options and even a shuffleboard table. The bartenders seemed a little overwhelmed (based on how busy it was + their expressions/body language) but brought our drinks very quickly. Downside was that no one had masks on. The beers were good, above average ratings. Cocktails were great- I was happy to have non beer options. I really enjoyed the red cream hurricane, love that it was made with local soda from Excel. Food was awesome, very impressed by the pizza. I saw that it was a thinner crust which I'm normally not a big fan of but actually trying it was different- VERY flavorful crust, yeasty and wheaty, good texture with cornmeal. I enjoyed the pretzel too, the beer cheese was delish and I appreciated that it wasn't spicy. Spicy honey on the side was a nice tough too, that way I could keep it mild and my partner enjoyed the spiciness.

Do they offer gluten free pizza crust?

Hello Abby! Currently, we do not offer gluten free pizza crust. With the amount of semolina used in the kitchen and around the oven, it would be difficult to create genuinely gluten free pizzas. However, if a patron brings us a crust that they like…

Street parking is almost always available near the brewery or across the street by the Lafayette Square fountain. Although a brewery, they also have a full bar when you walk in with a gorgeous arch window behind. You can grab a drink while you wait for your table. Their Strawberry Fields cocktail is really good! (Strawberry Basil infused Regatta Bay Gin, St. Elder, lemon, orange bitters, club) In this case, we went for brunch! We sat on their patio and ordered Mimosas and a Bloody Mary to drink. For food, we enjoyed omelets and pancakes. The pancakes were huge! I liked that the Seafood Omelet had hollandaise sauce on top. This is a big space and you can through a glass wall in the main dining area where they brew the beer which is neat! I recommend ordering a beer flight if it's your first time here so you can try a variety of their brews. Usually the flight includes your choice of four beer selections. I was able to try a few beers before picking one and the bartender was helpful in selecting one I'd like. A plus to me that they brew their own beer in house. If you're a beer drinker I definitely recommend coming in for one. For food I ordered a cup of Mac & cheese and later the porchetta louie. Mac & cheese was just ok I personally think since it's noodles with a liquid sauce vs baked serving it in more of a shallow bowl would be better as the sauce pools in the bottom and the cup is too small to stir the noodles. Also using a smaller noodle would help with this as it kind of felt like I was just eating noodles. The porchetta louie was GOOD STUFF, I recommend! I do wish there was more pork to the sandwich because the cheesiness of it was a little overwhelming but the kale and peppers perfectly compliment the fatty of the pork and the richness of the cheese. Will order again! I'd also like to say their house cut chips are the real deal! So addicting! Perfectly crispy and salted and a great portion. Overall a great experience.
