The locals had set up in what I assume their regular spots and thus, wondered what this new crew was doing here. In no time, those curious became very welcoming! However, as we enjoyed some libations and a bit of pool... we were the ones joining the locals with eyes filled with awe and curiosity! A very young wedding party showed up and took the bar over but in a very cordial way. Many locals stayed but we left, given the gift of fun for the wedding crew!

But the BEST part of the evening was our server, Brenton. He was funny, kind, very good at his job, checked in with us at exactly the right times and just generally made the evening a great one. Am rating 4 stars instead of 5 for two reasons: 1) They have no gluten free options. Not a GF bun, bread., pasta nor pizza dough. I understand not having many, but to have no GF choices is just not great these days. My husband with celiac disease had very few options. 2) Need more and reservable outside seating. Especially on the beautiful days (like this one was) - having to sit inside was a big bummer. They had more tables outdoors but we were told those were waiting areas and that we couldn't eat there. Anyway - a good spot and an even better one if they made just a couple changes.

The steak tacos should have a little warning on there that they have a lot of spice because they were quite hot. So if you don't like spicy the mac and cheese with jalapenos and the steak tacos will not be for you. Overall it was okay however it was so hot inside It was unpleasant to eat. If you were there just for you know an appetizer and a drink it'd probably be fine but it was really hot and it's not even summer. Unfortunately not sure if I would return but it does have a really cool atmosphere and they have bands so it is kind of a neat draw for a bar situation.

We also split a delish chicken caprese sandwich and a caesar salad. All of the food was fresh and tasty; though the "crumb style" croutons on the caesar were not appealing to me texturally. What can I say? I like a big crouton! The service was super friendly and efficient for 95% of the meal. At the end, though, we had trouble getting our check. Not a huge deal, but seemed odd considering the service was so amazing for the rest of the experience. Note: parking here is sparse. We had to park a few blocks away; though later I noticed there's a pay lot just up the street.
