Recent transplant from SF Bay Area, and had heard good things about HND'S. It did not disappoint. Good vibe, warm greeting once we walked in. Lunch on a Sunday afternoon after getting boosted. Service was very good. Servers very pleasant to speak to. I had the patty melt,(surprised it was not grilled on rye, but the bread used was very good). Hubby had the jalapeño burger. The fries served with them were very good...although the serving was a little small. all the food was very tasty! This was one of the better restaurants we have yet to try. This is a unique space. There is not a bad seat in the restaurant. Lots of light. Interesting angles. Good views. The food was good. I had the california turkey sandwich. The nine grain bread was good but not great. It had plenty of turkey and good avocado. Bacon was cooked well (done but not burned). I'd have it again. The side salad was a little strange. I have been here a couple times in a group setting with friends. The cocktails are very creative and delicious and I feel like that's why I have given Hops N Drops a couple more chances. Although, every single time my boyfriend and I have been here we have not been impressed by the food. Or portion sizes compared to price... (Nachos) Maybe it's because Hops N Drops is a chain but I feel like there is just an overall lack of flavor. After food and (alcoholic) drinks the bill for 2 people usually comes out to around $100 including the 20% tip. Visited Hops n Drops today for lunch right as they opened. I was greeted by their staff with a double door entry to begin and the experience only improved from there. We were seated immediately and our drink orders were taken. I had heard only fantastic things about their lemonades but was nervous to try one and reassured that if I did not, it would be taken off the bill. There was no need! We started with appetizers of mozzarella sticks and potato chip nachos with cheddar. Our appetizers were brought out in just a few minutes and fresh made. I've had several types of mozzarella sticks and these were clearly the freshest I'd ever had. I also had their macaroni and cheese. Again! Delicious! Fresh, homemade macaroni and cheese that was delicious. There was so much food that I brought half of it home to enjoy again! It is a great point to gather for Brunch or lunch. The service is very nice, the food is also very good. They understand food allergies and try to have educated recommendations (also a Gluten Free menu). BEST happy hour in town!! My boyfriend and i frequently dine here and love it. If you enjoy spicy their Buffalo sauce is AMAZING! I have been here twice that I can remember. Both times myself and the people I have gone with have had a bad experience. The first time, I felt so sick I napped for four hours woke up, and still felt sick. Thinking this was maybe a coincidence, I went back today. My boyfriend actually threw up everything he ate at hops and drops prior to feeling fine today. Specifically, a Caesar salad that when I took a few bites noticed it was warmer than room temperature. My other friend and I had the chicken strips and both felt sick for hours afterwards. Definitely will not be eating here again. This place is great. Nothing bad to comment on. The service from front house to the back house was seamless. The staff moved as a well oiled machine. Everyone was friendly from the time we walked in till we left. There was plenary of food items to choose from. I had wings, chowder and fish and chips. Y'ALL WANT TO READ THIS REVIEW As we scored a parking spot front and center of the restaurant, we were pleasantly surprised that a hostess was already holding open the HopJacks door, greeting us with a smile and wholesome conversation. We asked for a booth and got seated promptly on a busy Saturday night. The hostess and manager worked to turn one of the televisions by our table, to the NBA finals game as soon as we politely asked. Throughout our meal I also noticed how quick and efficient the staff was at bussing tables in a timely manner and not letting them sit. We were greeted within 3-5 minutes of being seated and Marco was just lovely. We ordered waters and there was no pushy ness to up-sell other drinks, which I appreciate. Marco was able to help me with my delicious food and figure out the best way to get what I want for the best price. I ended up ordering a Guacamole Bacon Burger and added on caramelized onions, and mushrooms for a extra few dollars. As well as exchanging the guacamole for fresh avocado. Oh my gawddd that was the BEST burger I have ever had....hands down. Without hesitation. The patty had to have been hand made that day, not frozen like at most burger joints. Which is why I love hop jacks initially. Marco again, kept checking in on us to make sure everything tasted good. But obviously by the smile on our faces full of food, we didn't need to respond. It was about $13-15 and so worth it. Drinks were always full as well as our tummies. On top of it all, they had mint toothpicks as we were greeted out of the restaurant by yet another sincere hostess. This is probably one of my favorite spots in town for family dining. Can't go wrong with their burgers, tots, or salads. I'm not sure what their special ingredient is in their ranch dressing but I'm pretty sure I could drink it lol. This place is pretty solid in Silverdale for a restaurant. The food is average and the service is certainly good. No complaints in any way really. More importantly, they have a full bar. The restaurant itself is pretty typical of a chain styled type of restaurant. I would probably go here if you had a large group, as they have lots of seating or if you just wanted to eat outside because it has seating on the water. It was a girls night out which ended in drinks here I remember it being called Hop and Jacks? So I was nervous new name different drinks. But that was not the case !!! I had a flavored Long Island and wow I was feeling it ! This drink tastes like juice it's so yummy and flavorful that I didn't even realize it had alcohol in it . They use a flavored vodka so you are getting your moneys worth so don't think just because it tastes sweet that it's not good or has too much syrup which it does not!!! It was happy hour which was an awesome deal ! So I always have to try the house margarita, that's like a tester for me and wow !!! This too was amazing! It was seriously another well crafted beverage. The taste was on point ! And I just wanted more . I hope to try their food one day since we just went for drinks . I will be back for sure !
