I had a wonderful experience today at the Silicon Valley Surgery Center. I was scheduled for a…read moretransforaminal epidural steroid injection in the lumbar region of my spine. This injection is meant to help decrease inflammation that was causing pressure on my sciatic nerve. We were warmly greeted when we arrived. I checked in at the front desk. Luckily, the day before, they emailed me a link to fill out all my paperwork. That proved to be very helpful and made the check-in process very easy and fast. The facility is very modern and large. There were quite a few people in the waiting area waiting to be called back for their procedures. The waiting area is very nice with plenty of seating. There was a big flat-screen TV for all to watch while waiting. They have a self-serve coffee area. You can choose your flavor and variety of Keurig pods and easily make yourself a nice hot coffee. My husband took advantage of that. I was called back within 15 minutes of checking in. The nurse taking care of me did a great job explaining the procedure and the order of events that were going to take place. She did an amazing job inserting my IV and kept me warm with heated blankets and a heating machine that blows warm air under the blankets. Since it was freezing in there, the warming machine felt so nice. I got to meet everyone in the surgical suite and was able to ask my Dr. questions before anesthesia was given to me. The surgeon, nurses, and technicians were all so nice and made me feel comfortable. Before I knew it, I was in recovery. The procedure was successful. They offered me juice of my choice while I was in the post-op area. The nurse removed my IV and helped me get dressed, while my husband moved the car to the patient pick-up area. This was one of the best outpatient experiences I have ever had. Everyone was so professional and friendly. They were very thorough with going over all my allergies. I'm allergic to a lot of medications, so that part is extremely important to get right. They took excellent care of me. If I need to have an out patient procedure, in the future, I would definitely choose to have it done here. I highly recommend coming here for an outpatient procedure.

My anesthesiologist was also fantastic, and of course I had a great experience with my doctor. I felt very well cared for by the clinical team. Where I think there is room for improvement is the front-office experience. The front desk came across as somewhat unprofessional and there wasn't much acknowledgment or greeting when patients arrived. Communication with the finance department was also frustrating, as I had difficulty getting calls returned. Overall, the medical care itself was wonderful and that's ultimately the most important part to me. I just wish the administrative experience matched the level of professionalism and warmth I received from the nurses, anesthesiologist, and my doctor.

Dr. Park called me the night before to talk about my surgery and I expressed to him that I was a bit freaked out by the idea of being awake during the procedure. While in my bed waiting to go into the OR, Dr. Park swung by to connect with me. When I got to the OR, he asked me what sort of music I'd like to hear during my surgery. Of course, this was very sweet, but I'd hoped to be blissfully asleep most of the time, if not all. Let's just say that he listened to my concerns and I slept soundly through the entire procedure and woke up blissfully happy in the recovery room! No nausea or any other issues after the surgery. I still don't know what music they were playing in the OR, which proves how well he did his job. ;-) Great experience from beginning to end. Hopefully I'll get the same anesthesiologist for my next eye!

The kids handled the anesthesia very well and Dr. park worked on them back to back. There were minimal effects of the anesthesia and by 3pm, they were golden and back to their normal. I am absolutely disgusted by the way I was treated by this nurse. While visiting a family member in…read morethe emergency department, I noticed that multiple patients before and after us were allowed to have two visitors accompany them. However, when it came to my family, this nurse refused to allow the same accommodation. What makes this situation even more frustrating is the blatant inconsistency. If there is a hospital policy limiting visitors, it should be enforced equally for EVERYONE, not selectively depending on who is asking. The emergency room is already an incredibly stressful and emotional environment for families. The last thing anyone should have to deal with is unnecessary hostility, unfair treatment, and a complete lack of compassion from someone working in healthcare. I have absolutely no issue following hospital policies, but I do have an issue with being treated differently when everyone around me appears to be receiving exceptions. This experience was unacceptable, extremely frustrating, and completely unprofessional. Hospital staff should be held accountable for how they communicate with and treat patients' families. I sincerely hope management addresses this inconsistency because no family should have to experience this during an already difficult time.

I had surgery at this hospital earlier this year. I want to be clear that my review is not about…read morethe doctors, nurses, or the clinical care I received. The medical staff provided very good care, and the facility appeared clean, professional, and well maintained. My concern is limited to the billing and post-procedure communication process. After the procedure, I reviewed the Explanation of Benefits from my health insurer, and the amount billed to me appeared to be significantly higher than what I understood to be the insurer's indicated patient responsibility. Because billing matters can be complicated, I tried to contact the hospital to ask for clarification and to request a written review of the account. In my experience, however, the process was very difficult to navigate. The available communication appeared to rely mainly on phone calls during business hours, which was challenging for me because of my schedule. I left voicemail messages explaining the issue, and I also sent fax communications asking the hospital to review the account and respond. As of this review, I have not received a clear written response resolving the discrepancy. I later contacted my insurer to seek clarification as well. From my understanding, the balance may still be treated as unpaid or not fully resolved, although the matter remains under review. I am continuing to work with both the insurer and the hospital to understand the final amount, if any, that I actually owe. What has been frustrating is not the medical care, but the lack of a clear and accessible written communication process for a billing issue involving an insurance EOB. If the hospital disagrees with the insurer's EOB or believes additional patient responsibility applies, I would expect a clear written explanation so the patient can understand the basis for the charge and address it appropriately. Again, I appreciated the clinical care I received. However, the billing follow-up experience was stressful, time-consuming, and difficult to resolve. Prospective patients may want to confirm in advance how this hospital handles insurance billing, EOB discrepancies, written billing disputes, and communication options other than phone calls. I would also encourage prospective patients to read a range of reviews, including lower-rated reviews, before deciding where to receive care.

1 Star I came to this doctor's office because my lawyer had…read morescheduled an appointment for my father. His appointment was at 10:30 AM on October 3, 2026, and I arrived at 10:20 AM with my mother and younger sister. I was extremely disappointed with how little they seemed to respect our time. We sat there waiting until around 11:20 AM before a nurse finally came and took my father into the room. The appointment was at 10:30. What made the experience even more frustrating was how disorganized the whole process was. As soon as we arrived, a receptionist took down my father's information and asked basic questions, such as whether he had any allergies or had eaten anything. Then another assistant came in and asked the exact same questions again. After waiting for about 15 minutes, around 10:55, I was already getting very frustrated and asked when we would be seen. A nurse told me that the doctor was seeing patients in the office next door and would be back around 11:15. Seriously? If the doctor wasn't available until 11:15, why schedule our appointment for 10:30? Then around 11:10, another nurse came in and asked us the same questions again -- questions we had already answered multiple times. She left, and about five minutes later, another nurse came in and asked the same questions yet again. At this point, we had been asked essentially the same information around five times. Finally, my father was taken into the room around 11:30 AM, almost an hour after his scheduled appointment. While we were waiting outside, we could also hear the staff talking about taking turns going to lunch. I completely understand that employees need breaks, but hearing this while a patient and his family had already been waiting nearly an hour past the scheduled appointment made the situation even more frustrating. I'm not upset because we had to wait a few minutes. I'm upset because the entire process felt disorganized, repetitive, and disrespectful of our time. If the doctor is not available at the scheduled appointment time, the office should schedule patients accordingly or at least communicate the delay. Patients and their families have schedules and responsibilities too. Very disappointing experience. I hope they seriously improve their scheduling, communication, and patient intake process. Dr . Welsh I'm Tran . Contact me if you have any questions.

Dr. Stratmann: I'm…read moredoing well thanks for following up email. I was a bit delirious yesterday, and the pain walking was a bit unbearable, but I survived. I only feel nauseous after I take my medication, which I take with food as prescribed. The pain had subsided a bit; I only feel it as I stand or bend to sit. I want to thank you for making me feel at ease regarding my aneurysm question; I was a bit nervous, but thanks again for your kindness, eye contact, reassurance, and your listening skills. You heard me when I said, putting the mask on makes me a bit uneasy and you made sure I didn't have to deal with it. Thank You! To me, there is nothing you need to change the call, the emails, your bedside manner, and your emphasis on the importance of pain management during recovery were very much needed. Stay awesome and know I appreciate you.

Highest recommendation for Dr. Greg!…read more Due to a prior bad surgical experience, I have high anxiety when "going under". I recently had an ear surgery and as surgeries go, it went so much better than anticipated. Dr. Greg called me the night before to check in. He then came and SAT at my bedside. We actually had a chat. He told me my email, which he had memorized, let me know he would follow up the following day, and he asked if I go by "Michelle". I told him I was nervous and he told me the hardest part about today was the car ride over...well that was a piece of cake because my sister drove me. When he left, I felt I was in really good hands. As I went to sit on the table for surgery, he was talking to me, while injecting me with 2 viles into my tube. I played down, the nurse told me to smooch up and honest to goodness it was the last thing I remember. Dr. Greg did not give me a chance to let my anxiety set in. He was on what I needed. When I woke up, I am told, I was asking for a margarita and if I was still in Mexico (I had just returned from vacation)...When I saw my sister sitting next to me, I love her, but the "dream" was over - she wasn't in Mexico with me. Dr. Greg checked in on my during recovery...I don't remember much there, but he did follow up with me via email and I told him the same as above. For someone who has much anxiety going under, it has a darn good ending. Listening to your patient only matters if you follow up with what THEY need. Bedside manner is MORE than key - and if you wake up feeling as though you are on vacation, well that's just bonus. Thank you Dr. Greg. Keep doing exactly what you're doing...you are doing it well!! The problem is that the statements were being mailed to an old address, despite the office having me verify and update my information at every visit. My son's last appointment was only about a year ago, yet this issue was never brought to my attention then. What was even more frustrating was being told that even if I paid the balance in full immediately, they still would not accept my child as a patient. Their justification was that they had called me one time regarding the balance. Refusing care over a billing issue that resulted from incorrect contact information and poor communication seems unreasonable. This wasn't the first time I experienced issues with their office management. On one occasion, my son had already checked in and was sitting in the dental chair being seen when I received a phone call stating that he had missed his appointment and never showed up. Receiving a no-show call while my child was actively in the office was concerning and reflected a lack of organization and communication. Overall, I found the situation poorly handled and disappointing. I would expect a healthcare office to maintain accurate records, communicate effectively with patients, and make a reasonable effort to resolve issues before refusing care.

Neither helped me with those issues. When I first met Dr. Cook, he said "We will get rid of your cough". After two visits (in 1 week) at BioReset, my cough was gone. After week 2, my fatigue and foggy head was gone. Most people (myself included) think inside of the Medical Book-Box when we feel bad. BioReset opened my eyes to so many contributing factors to my health issues. I had never thought about mold toxicity, tick born diseases or gut issues. I had many tests done right away (they are done by a reputable lab and you can look up the prices, they are not making money by selling lab tests). Instead of handing me a bottle of pills, they created a precise plan to heal my internal issues which lead to healing many of my original issues. (Cough, fatigue, foggy head and also pain in my knee). I am so thankful to have found Dr. Cook and his team. He is one of a kind. If you are expecting a conventional waiting room, only to be brought into the "cold second waiting room", only to be seen by a Dr. in a white coat- think again. The office itself is as warm and inviting as Dr. Cook and the entire group that supports him. On that note- his team reflects his own personal investment in his patients. Every single member of his staff has treated me with compassion and sincerity. They knew my name and I knew theirs. They sat and spent time with me while I was being treated. After months of feeling like a invisible number- I finally felt like a real human being and it felt AMAZING! When I say it felt "amazing", I mean mentally, physically and also spiritually. I am not the kind of person who says "spiritually", but I honestly just feel GOOD when I go to BRM and I feel GREAT when I leave. I added to this post because I want to mention one thing: I was pulling up Google Maps to take a screen shot for a friend of mine. That's when I saw the review below mine (that I do not want to draw attention to, but here I am). When I read it, I thought "Did we go to the same place?" Everyone is entitled to their own opinion, but I could not read the opinion of PC Inc (you don't hear that name often) , I was compelled to write my review. BioReset Medical has the most compassionate group of people on board their ship. There is a reason that I met with 6 different people on my fist appointment. Let me be clear- I was not moving from room to room...all 6 came to see me in my very room. (which, for the record does NOT look like the standard doctors office room that you sit in all cold, with a gown on, feet hanging off of a metal table- it looks more like a nice hotel reception room with cozy warm chairs and nice pictures on the wall). Back to my point, the crew was awesome and Dr. Cook makes the perfect captain of the ship. You can almost see and hear the gears in his mind turning while he's talking to you. He is planning your care, thinking about your situation, analyzing the problem and coming up with a solution that makes sense. He listened intently while I talked about my issues, leaning forward, hearing every word and truly WANTING to help me....and he did! I might sound like a cheerleader or a not-real-poster, so feel free to reach out to me if you want to hear it from the horses mouth. My world has changed from feeling bad to feeling really really good. I am a straight shooter when it comes to giving my opinion; always have been, always will be (hence the use of my actual name and also my real profile picture.)
