The food was delicious - from the tuna crudo and smoked fish dip, to the bread with hummus and their popular dish, the POW POW shrimp. The White Sandgria and French 75 drinks are equally tasty and refreshing. The service staff was attentive, knowledgeable of dishes, and quite personable (they definitely deserve a raise) - thank you to Robert (I believe our server's name was, sorry if I misremembered), Nico, Sarah, and Valanya (definitely butchered, my apologies again!). The food doesn't compete but complements the beautiful waterfront location. The outdoor waterside seating area (which I highly recommend making an effort to get seated in) is a bit tight, and my only criticism is that the tables should be a bit bigger) has an atmosphere absolutely bolstered by the natural beauty and lively watercraft, which only makes the dining experience more special. Otherwise, flanked by a road, which makes it a bit hard to get to, but it's well worth the visit. The site is limited to valet parking, which deprioritizes vehicular circulation in an effective manner. This eatery, being so close to a walkable, easily accessible, multi-modal area including Hollywood Beach and the Broadwalk makes it an absolute gem of not just dining in Hollywood, but in all of South Florida.

For dinner, Lucia was our server, she was super friendly and great. We ordered wings, the Quesabirria (which came with fries), and the pepperoni flatbread. Wings: the Korean Sweet Heat is where it's at. It's not super spicy and it's got a great sweet-savory flavor. We also got the chipotle bbq dry rub, which was also tasty. Quesabirria: it was pretty good! I with the consomé had a bit more flavor but I would order it again. Pepperoni flatbread: Ours came out slightly underdone for my taste. It was cooked thoroughly and the manager gave us the option of sending it back to be cooked well done, but we opted not to against our better judgement. It tasted fine while at the restaurant though. We ended up taking it home and I cooked it further in my air fryer the next day, and it was much better. So if you like your pizza/flatbread well done, make sure you ask for that. Overall, Puttshack is a great time with friends/family or a fun interactive date. Don't skip out on it if you're at Dania Pointe looking for something to do or a place to grab a bite!

It wasn't overly busy, but there were a few other large groups, and the staff did a nice job setting aside an area for our team 5/5. We ordered a variety of appetizers and shareable plates including sliders, pizza, chicken quesadillas, popcorn shrimp, and salad. Unfortunately, the food was mediocre at best (2/5). The sliders didn't taste or resemble quality beef, the pizza somehow managed to be both dry and greasy at the same time, and the quesadillas were pretty skimpy on the chicken. Popcorn shrimp was mostly breading. Surprisingly, the standout dish of the night was the coleslaw salad, which had fresh, crunchy vegetables and plenty of flavor. The actual putting course was the highlight of the experience. The game was fun, creative, and well-designed. However, most of our group was new to the concept, and the employee who was supposed to explain how the courses worked didn't really provide any instruction. We mostly figured it out ourselves. It wasn't enough to ruin the fun, but a quick introduction would have made the experience much better for first-time visitors. Overall, I'd come back for the putting experience, but probably not for the food.

We visited for brunch & it did not disappoint with the bottomless mimosa & great price ! I was disappointed with my choice of meal. Avicado toast topped with 2 eggs. Zero flavor. I frequent Boatyard for ladies night however, it had been awhile since I visited for brunch. Will definitely do brunch again. It wasn't crowded so it was the perfect ambiance. I couldn't resist ordering two servings of the tuna tacos which were a highlight for me. My friend opted for two orders of oysters and a shrimp cocktail. We couldn't pass up the truffle fries they were a must have! I paired my meal with a lovely crisp glass of wine, which complemented the flavors perfectly. The bartender was done to earth and accommodating. The overall atmosphere was vibrant and enjoyable. However, I did have one minor concern. The restaurant is dog friendly and while I appreciate that for the dog lovers it did lead to a lingering smell of dogs after one group left. It was bit off putting for us and we decided to leave early and get more drinks elsewhere. I'm becoming less fond of pets in dining spaces. Nonetheless, the experience was mostly positive and the delicious food certainly made up for it before the smell took over.

A lot of entitled customers feel they walk in wait 10 minutes no reservations and should skip people who waited 15 minutes and had earlier reservations just because they make a scene. The restaurant was a cool laid back vibe. They have a full bar and a large flat screen television. We were pretty hungry and we ordered the devil eggs with bacon to start. Also, lemonade and a delicious pineapple martini. The way that our waiter Jose mixed up that pineapple martini made want another one. They also gave us delicious hot bread. For our main course we ordered the shrimp pasta and steak with shrimp. For dessert we shared the brownie with salted caramel and ice cream. Overall, everything was delicious. A special thank you to Jose. He was extremely helpful with the menu , and making sure that we were fine. He went over and beyond. We can't wait to visit in the future. Much love from Cali and thank you.
