Cackler's is a place to make amazing memories with loved ones. The farm smells amazing. When I went the weather was absolutely beautiful. The sun was shining and the weather was not terribly cold. The line was long to wait for the sleds and saws. You can bring your own to save on time waiting in line. Dogs are welcome, as long as they stay on the leash. It is fun to walk around the farm to find the perfect tree. Once you find it you get to cut it down and take it home for the holidays. Cackler's offers tree shaking, netting, and drilling for an extra cost. I can see this easily becoming a tradition for my family too!

We stumbled upon the Cackler Family Farm, and brought home a gorgeous Canaan Fir tree. It's a bit of a drive from Hilliard, but it was well-worth the trip! There are signs along the road which assured us that we were heading in the right direction. Although the parking lot was packed, it did not seem crowded when we were walking around the farm. There's plenty of space to wander around to search for the perfect tree! A kind gentleman helped answer questions by the information sign. Be sure to head to the info area for a map of the general area. It will list the different tree species and where they are located. If you're unsure about which type you like, there's a row of examples around the front of the farm. A sled and saw are provided. Many trees have a red tag to identify the species and price. However, you also have the option of picking an untagged tree. We were told that there are too many trees to tag at once. Just be sure not to cut a baby tree or step on them :) Once you get a tree, bring it around to the front office area to have it prepped to bring home. They shake off excess pine bits. For $3, you can have the tree netted. There is a small concession stand for snacks and drinks, along with a children's play area with a cute donkey and lamb. Handmade holiday wreaths are featured in the main office area are for sale. Cackler Family Farm has beautiful trees with endless options. With its location relatively close to Columbus, it was a fabulous experience and I highly recommend it to anyone looking for the perfect Christmas tree!

They were respectful and meticulous in protecting not only my property but also my neighbor's property. Their attention to detail for all aspects of the job cannot be overstated. Jason proactively reached out to both of my neighbors to let them know that they would be working on my roof and that he would make sure that any debris on their property was properly cleaned up and gave them business cards to contact if there was a problem. Jason sat down with us beforehand and explained every step of the process in great detail and answered every question we had, spending well over an hour talking with us. While the crew was working, Jason took great care to send us photos every step of the process and explaining what the crew was doing - close to 100 photos over the three days which was very helpful and appreciated. Jason's cost estimates are very thorough, so the end cost was very close to the original estimate (minus some minor wood charges, which is to be expected). Overall, Jason and team did a fantastic job, and I would have no hesitation in hiring him in the future. I know that my roof was done with the same care that he would use on his own property and I'm confident that it was done right. He goes above and beyond to not only do a great job on the roof but also to explain everything and make you feel valued.

For a recent job I also obtained estimates from two other professional tree services and found Dane's pricing was competitive. The work Dane and his staff do is excellent. They have always shown up on time, appear to work meticulously and safely and always leave the area looking better than it had when they arrived. The 3-day job they completed for me today was complex and I saw Dane here a good part of each day. The heavy wood close to structures, landscaping and other trees was lowered to the ground using ropes in order to keep control of it and prevent damage. During their work I have had the most contact with James and Scott, who have both always been very polite, considerate of our property, displayed excellent work ethics and watched out for out pets.
