I originally found them through Instagram because of all their adorable character macarons. Their mall storefront only had the regular macarons when I visited, so I'm assuming the character designs are more of a special-order item. Either way, the regular macarons were still so cute and, more importantly, delicious. They're much larger than the average macaron and have a very generous amount of filling. The shells are soft, moist, and almost cakey rather than dry or overly crisp, which I really liked. Flavor-wise, the passionfruit yuzu was a little more tart than I personally prefer, but the crème brûlée and raspberry rose were some of my favorites. Overall, such a cute spot with genuinely good macarons- not just pretty ones!

I got the chocolate, chocolate almond, raspberry cream and blueberry cream croissants to try. Although they look smaller than other croissants you'll find in other coffee shops and bakeries... these ones pack quite the punch taste-wise in their more petite form. The chocolate croissant was delightfully airy. The chocolate almond one was very rich and decadent. The fruit cream ones were so flavorful and rich. I think the favorite between my husband and I was the chocolate almond one. Also picked up six macarons and will be trying those later (too full off of the croissants right now to eat anything else!). ;)

The macarons came individually wrapped, which was perfect because they were party favors. I used one design that she featured on her Instagram, with some modifications, which Rachelle took care to specifically ask about. The second design was a ping ping theme for my dad, which I imagine Rachelle came up with on her own, and they were very cute. The last design was my daughter's Korean name, written in frosting in the Korean alphabet, so I appreciated that Rachelle was able to execute that, too (much nicer Korean handwriting than mine). I also loved how they all tasted. I ate them a few days after I picked them up, and they were still delicious, especially the filling. The chocolate macaron tasted so fudgy and the vanilla bean reminded me of a fluffy marshmallow. Most people's favorite, including mine, was the strawberry! I dealt with like 5 vendors for this party, and Rachelle was the only one who consistently responded to questions and had my order ready on time. Pickup in Tustin was so easy. She was literally the only person I worked with for this party who did not stress me out, for which I thank her tremendously.

I ended up ordering the matcha with a cream top and my boyfriend got the mango smoothie. Here is our review of both: Mango Smoothie: this was just the typical tasting smoothie. Nothing too special or fresh tasting about it. It is just the normal juice/syrup based smoothie. Matcha: the sugar was sitting at the bottom of the cup and the matcha tasted bland overall. It was more milky than anything. I could not really taste the cream top, as it was so thin that it kind of mixed throughout my drink before I could try it. Overall, we came here to try the poki but just wanted to get drinks from here to try as well. I would not recommend coming to this place, as there are other options nearby that have better matcha.
