Bahar Bakery has great selection of patisseries...I love their noon khamei and rollette so much...Its nostalgia and reminds me back home. Service was great. The ambiance was chill. The bakery itself was clean. We got 6 pieces of patisseries and ended up to pay $22.59. The Bahar bakery is inide Crown Valley international market. The interesting thing was their nuts section. They were all closed glasses and no one was there to help a customer. In most stores, the customer itself can go and take it but probably they were trying to get everything organized and more in control.

I cannot say enough amazing things about Bahar Bakery! Even though I've been living in California for over a decade and have tried some of the best bakeries across Southern California, the Bay Area, and San Francisco, I have honestly never had a cake with this level of quality and deliciousness. The birthday cake they made for me was absolutely stunning -- the design was flawless, detailed, and beautifully executed. It looked like a true piece of art. But even more impressive was the taste. The cake was incredibly fresh, perfectly moist, and so flavorful without being overly sweet. Every single guest kept asking where it was from! Bahar Bakery truly exceeded all my expectations. Yum they have the very best Tres Leches cake ! One slice is like $10 bucks but a must try! I've gotten a few cakes on and off over the years and all very light and dreamy and never ever disappoint! If for a party or a personal treat in the closet, pick anything and it will be beyond awesome, it's just super expensive! Like they are in the top nobody charges more! read more

I ordered a Birthday cake on Monday for the following Saturday, paid for a vanilla cake with strawberry stuffing. They waited till the last day to make the cake. Once I pick up my kid birthday cake i was happy with look. But once we cut the cake , had no strawberries. Now try to explain to your kid why its not the same cake , Not Good experience. Reach to the store, they said sorry they forgot, offered a discount on next purchase. If I wanted a discount cake I would a bought it at cost co and not paid premium price for average cake. read more

The grocery store should be shut down by health department. The store is not following social distancing rules. Store was packed inside. Staff did not have access to hand sanitizer nor did customers. Many staff not wearing masks or gloves. No shields to protect staff from customers or customers from staff. I will be reporting them to the county health department also. read more

Bahar Bakery deserves its own review, aside from my review of the restaurant upstairs (also delicious). I absolutely love this bakery and the ladies who work here. Each one is so kind and caring and they make the best pastries in Orange County, period. We order all our special occasion cakes here (so far, my baby shower, and 1st & 3rd birthdays for our little man), and they are truly gorgeous cakes and they taste incredible. You can customize to your heart's content, their prices are super fair, and as my husband says, "they have a can-do attitude". We never get told no at Bahar Bakery, even when we order a cake barely 24 hours before we need it! I also pick up individual pastries here all the time, my favorites are the glazed mini cakes (the shiny ones with the glitter- super rich), eclairs, mini tarts, creme brulee, and zoolbia bamieh. You pretty much can not go wrong here. Support these guys, they are an OC institution!! read more

Farzaneh- the very helpful lady that is in charge of orders at crown valley market bakery did a fantastic job! She designed and created the most beautiful cake for my engagement party. It looked so classy and elegant just like I wanted. The cake itself was very yummy and light. We received compliments all night about how delicious and beautiful it was. The cake made our dessert table even more stunning as it caught everyones eye. We got a 3 layer vanilla with pineapple and strawberry in the middle. Definitely coming back! OK, so the first time I had one of Lily's pastry's at Bahar it was a napoleon....perfectly sweet, flaky, and light. I was locked in! (no more carb-free diets for me!!!) I live in Irvine and drive down to Bahar regularly, in spite of the fact that there are a bunch of places to get pastries way closer to me. One of my favorite parts of Lily is that she's constantly creating new things, cookies unique tarts, and pastries you really can't get anywhere else. Last time I was there I had these buttery cranberry-pistachio cookies that she had made...I must have eaten a 1000 since. I will be a life-long customer of these pastries and cookies...NUMZ!! read more

My family and I come here on the weekends to stock up on their delicious pastries. I am absolutely obsessed with their Kataifi cookies. It's a lightly crisped cookie made with rose water, and topped with pistachio and honey (someone correct me on the ingredients if I'm wrong!). It has much more than the ingredients I just listed, but it tastes amazing.. you can't just have one cookie. Great quality pastries with good prices! read more

I bought a chocolate roll cake and some cookies! They were really good and tasty . Beside the quality of cake, the lady who helped me was very professional and she gave me great tips. I really appreciate Bahar's bakery for their great customer service and high quality products ! The only thing I would recommend is remove the price on the sticker. It's much closer to the 73 freeway, but that is a toll road, and I was already coming off the 5 freeway to stop for a donut and coffee. I came in at 10:30 AM, and there were a handful of customers inside the shop. I thought they were in line, but it seemed that most were waiting for their orders that it didn't take long for an employee, Lee, to assist me. Coupon in hand, I asked him if this was the right location that was specified by the coupon. He did give me a bit of a hard time at first, but confirmed it was the right location. He could tell I wasn't from around here, but it did make for a nice conversation starter when he asked what I was doing in the area and how I even got that coupon in the first place. Around Christmas time, Nothing Bundt Cakes had a couple of pop-up seasonal flavors that were going to be off the menu soon, like real soon. One of them was the Peppermint Chocolate Chip, which I saw they had quite a handful of inside their display case by the front counter. However, I also recalled they had the Coconut Cream Snowflake, which came before Peppermint Chocolate Chip, so I wasn't sure if the Coconut Cream Snowflake was still being offered. Sure enough, Lee confirmed it was, even mentioning they only had a couple left inside the store! He placed one inside a paper bag before sealing it with a Nothing Bundt Cakes sticker and wishing me a happy holiday season. I checked the Nothing Bundt Cakes app later that day right before closing, and sure enough, the Coconut Cream Snowflake flavor wasn't on the menu anymore, so I'm super thankful that I was able to get my hands on one of their last ones before it went off the menu for good, or at least until December 2026 assuming that the pop-up flavors pop up at the same time each year. I actually had a Coconut Cream Snowflake bundtlet earlier in the month from the Lakewood location, and this bundtlet tasted no different when I ate it the next day. Just as good. I don't even like coconut that much, but wanted to get it again not just because they were on the verge of removing that flavor from their menu, but also because I wanted to share it with someone who liked coconut much more than I did, but never had the deliciousness of a bundt cake that is Nothing Bundt Cakes. I didn't ask Lee how long the cake would last in the fridge, but the norm is 5 days, though I've heard an employee at the Lakewood location say up to a week, which I'd really not recommend waiting that long for. When I ate my share of the Coconut Cream Snowflake bundtlet, it was already soft and moist, but overall still enjoyable. I'm sure I wouldn't have enjoyed it that much had I waited until New Years Eve. The shop itself is more spacious than the other ones I've been to before, and Lee's service gave it a more cozier, neighborly feel with the holiday season in full swing. As with any Nothing Bundt Cakes location you go to, there is a great deal of birthday decor inside the shop, but also Christmas decor as well at the time of my visit. I'm honestly not sure when I'll be visiting Laguna Hills again, especially since it was my first time in this South Orange County city. However, rest assured that if you live in or around the area, this is a great spot for bundt cakes if you're looking for one to complete your celebration of a birthday or some other special occasion.

We had such a wonderful experience with Bahar Bakery! Farzaneh created the most beautiful and delicious cake for my husband's birthday. It looked stunning and tasted even better. Everyone at the party loved it! A very special thank you to Farzaneh, who was incredibly kind and patient throughout the entire process. She took the time to answer all of my questions and worked closely with me to create the perfect custom cake. Her attention to details and genuine care made the experience so enjoyable and stress-free. We also tried their pastries, Zoolbia, and Baklava, and they were absolutely delicious, fresh, and full of flavor. The presentation and setup were beautiful as well, making everything even more special.
