I'm giving this update based on our visit on 7/19/17. We started off on a bad foot because we waited outside 20 minutes in the sweltering heat with no fans and no server. Once I requested service by walking inside, manager Kevin (I think was his name) came to us immediately. He apologized and immediately got us a server. Natalie was an absolute gem of a server and tended to us completely. I hope this is an indication of a change and that it stays in place. Food was fresh and delish. Beer cold! read more

Ate here for the second time(at this location) I ALWAYS get the bone in wings hot and curly fries. I can't get anything else cause the wings(hot) are so good I would feel I'm missing something. PLEASE BE WARNED... I went to This Hooters on Sunday 7/12/2015. I have not been able to sleep or eat for 5 days! I'm now going to doctor to see if I have food poisoning, I have not had a solid stool nor is it controllable. I am a fan of the wings and that's what I got wings and curly fries. Now I have lost 15 pounds in just 4 days of eating there. Other Yelp reviewers warned on this restaurant I didn't listen. Now I feel like I'm literally about to die. Worst Hooter's in the country. Lacks in service and the staff should not be allowed to wear the outfit. Had to ask for silverware and towels. The food was stale and lacked the normal flavors. This is probably one of my favorite steakhouses. It was kinda gruff but our waiter Tom really made us feel at home. He offer a round on the house and gave us two free steaks. Hooters of Slidell I stopped by the New Hooters of Slidell on Gause Blvd just off of the I 10 in Slidell Louisiana. I had read about Hooters renovating there stores across the country with an all new layout and new menu so I was l looking forward to visiting this brand new location. The Hooters of Slidell has an new fresh look for sure. The inside is spacious, more open modern looking than that of other Hooters. This store has plenty of windows which helps brighten up inside. I have never seen so many TV's (I think there are 55). I didn't get a good look but, they do have out door Patio seating. I prefer the high table seating over the booths and these tables appear to be a bit larger, giving us a more elbow room. I like the closed kitchen look with mid restaurant bar. It just seems cleaner than having an open kitchen. Out waitress Ashely was great. I was disappointed in the menu. Based on what I read, I was expecting an all new menu. The food was good don't get me wrong. I was only disappointed because of anticipating an a new menu. I had the only new dish on the Hooters of Slidell menu. The Buffalo chicken salad (Spicy Garlic) and it was good. Four of us ate and with one appetizer, our bill was about $55. honestly, good luck getting any type of service unless you're a man. I sat at the bar completely unnoticed for 10 minutes while all the new girls for shift change sat across from me. couldn't they of gotten the bar tender or at least say she will be right over. when she finally came she assumed it was take out. Just left the hooters in Slidell, LA and will not ever go back even if the waitress was nude and the food was free as I was very disappointed in the quality of the food and the service. The waitress Julia look like a slob the shirt she was wearing looked like it hasn't been washed in a month, she never had a smile on her face and only asked once if I needed anything like she was going out of her way to serve me. I got a salad and Philly cheesesteak sandwich and asked for the salad to come first she brought the salad and the sandwich together and by the time I finish the salad the sandwich was cold the fries were nasty, and on top of it I had to pay $1.58 for a side of ranch dressing. This is my third time coming to this location. The service is mediocre at best. I thought this time would be different. I ordered a big beer on draft and as soon as I took the first sip I was grossed out. The glass was washed in dirty water and spelt like a sewer. The girls here are friendly and the food is always good. This location has the biggest TV of any sports bar I've ever seen. They also host trivia nights, bike nights, kids eat free night and car washes and charity events. Definitely a family friendly place more on the menu than chicken wings. Would recommend read more

The food is decent..thats how i feel about all hooters locations. When i go i usually order the daytona wings and am usually pleased. I have only had good experiences with the servers there, but however are usually high schoolers, which makes me feel a little creepy going..but anyway. I been to this location many times, love the big tv behind the bar. I wish more locations had that set up for the tv. Now on a different note Hooters has cleared out about one quarter of the tables that this restaurant opened up with. Now it looks like shit and like it's about to close, not a good way to build customers. I was told it was due to not having enough waitresses, again either way it looks real bad. Ordered over the phone and the girl said it would be 15 minutes, once I got there I waited an additional 15, got half of my order and was told the other items were coming out soon.
