We've come to the Selma Hooters since they opened and have always enjoyed the Caesars salads. Tonight we got two Caesar side salads with a six piece chicken tenders. I ordered a Padre Island ice tea, which was very good. Both of our side salads had rotten lettuce. We have never encountered this here. Probably a third of each of our side salads had browned lettuce as well as black rotten lettuce. We couldn't even finish them. The tenders were good. My husband mentioned it to our waitress but she only asked if we wanted new salads. We were so disgusted with the salads that we just wanted to leave. They should have comped the salads considering how disgusting they looked. Probably won't go back anymore unless someone reaches out and gifts us really good fresh salads. I've been twice this month and both times was disappointmented with the food. Need to get back to your roots and keep it simple. I'll go to Wing Stop any day and be happy. You used to be my go to. Kimberly was a great server. Unfortunately I can't say the same about the cleanliness of the restrooms and the manager Jeremiahs customer service. I called to inform him of what I noticed when I walked into the restroom and all he said was okay and hung the phone up on me while I was still talking. My 3 year old daughter had to use the restroom so I proceeded to take her in. First of all two of the three lights weren't working so it was super dark in there that I had to use the flashlight on my phone. If you want to go to this Hooters for wings, drive to a different location or a different restaurant. Neither the kitchen nor the management care about the food they serve to customers. This is reinforced here on Yelp as the manager looks to only reply to positive comments and apparently doesn't care about all the negative ones. My wife and 2 kids went there tonight. I ordered a Shrimp and Spinach salad and 10 naked wings without the balsamic vinegar dressing, my wife ordered boneless wings extra wet. After about 20 minutes, the order comes out and my wings are cold, dry and stale with very little of the Chesapeake spice on them. My wife's extra wet boneless wings are also barely warm and the sauce looks thick and congealed. The salad had the dressing in it that I asked for it not to have. I am not usually one to send food back, but these wings had obviously sat around for quite awhile and were awful. The waitress (She did a great job! Haley from Indiana) went back to the kitchen to have our order re-cooked. "Fresh" food is brought back to us within 5 minutes, which normally would be great, but wings take longer than that to cook, even when par cooked. These wings were no different than the first order. My wife's boneless wings were again barely warm, but they did put fresh hot sauce on them at least. As I said, the kitchen/management doesn't care about what they serve. This is NOT my favorite Hooters in the San Antonio area, but the service is OK. The Hooters Girls are nice and have done well with our orders. My big concern though is the food and the facilities. It seems like the building, the tables, and everything needs a really good DEEP cleaning and that something on that magnitude hasn't been done in a while. Perhaps they need to update the facility but the kitchen looked dirty and the dining area looked worn and dirty. This includes the parking lot which looks trashed. As for the Wings, they were OK but nothing spectacular. A few of my wings were a little smaller or barely breaded. Potential here but needs work. read more

Worst experience at a Hooters EVER! I went in with a couple of friends and we had to find our own seat. Once there, we asked a person to find us a waitress so we could order drinks. We then had to call for our waitress every time we needed something as she was far too busy doing whatever to notice her customers.
