This place has gone downhill! The Ladies restroom was very dirty and lights are out. Very dark in there. I told management about it. They were out of two different wings on a Saturday! I will not go back nor recommend this place to anyone until they have totally remodeled. read more

Love the place. Ive been going there on a regular basis since i moved closer to this area and i have always had consistent great service. i usually sit at the bar and go on my set days off every other week or so and the bartenders are great. . beer specials for happy hour are great especially on draft and they always have different specials on certain days for wings and other items.definitely will keep going back. read more

My boyfriend and I came to here to watch the Tech - UT game on a Saturday night. We were seated right away and by several televisions showing the game. The problem was they did not have the volume on for the Texas game. Half of the TVs were showing the game, but they had the volume on for the lone TV showing the Carolina - Tennessee game. It didn't appear that anyone was watching that game, but it was obvious there were several tables interested in the Texas game. We asked the waitress if it was possible to put the volume on for the Texas game, but she very rudely told us no because that's the game the manager wanted it on. The service and food was alright, but we ended up leaving at the half to go watch the game at a bar that had the volume on....which happened to be Bikini's in Live Oak. We visited this place on a Friday. The table we were seated at had food on the floor on the opposite side of where we sat. I moved the ketchup/paper towel holder on the table to find more left over food. The first draft beer they brought tasted like it was half water so I asked for a bottle. The wings I ordered were supposed to be an eight piece but appeared as six until after I moved them around and there were 7. We told the manager, and he gave us 10 free wings to go. I was supposed to have one ranch and one blue cheese and they were both ranch and you could tell by looking at them. I'm not for sure what is going on at this location, but I won't be back. Chicken wings were cold when brought out, had to ask 5 times for refills before we asked for check our refill was brought after over an hour sitting there. Place was not busy and it was right after resturant opened for lunch. The service and waitress sucked! Not impressed at all with customer service. Go in at 10 p.m. with a party of 15 to 20 and the hostess when she finally comes over says they are short staffed and would be an hour or so wait, mind you they have multiple tables open with servers just standing around. I understand it was 10 however closing time is 1 a.m. Our party leaves and goes next door to cheddars in which close in an hour and they were happy to seat and serve us, so sorry you missed almost a 100 dollar or more tip plus the sales alone for this establishment . Anyways, go back the next day due to others in our party wanting to try again and they did accommodate and the server was friendly enough however the quality of the food was not ok. The salads were wilted on some and brown on others. If your going to have a beer that would be the only good thing I could say about this location, seams as they need better management. Started out as a rough go around. Hostess who ended up being the bartender (Sarah) had so sense of humor. Questioned our imparability upon first walking in due to no sign that says watch step as you step up.... Order our first pitcher and shot with no problem... Our waitress (Shade) was amazing... Second shot and pitcher ordered Sarah threw a fit behind the bar saying we were too drunk to order... Shade and Mirayah explained that we were okay.... Two law enforcement officers who know the law about being impaired were made as a joke.... Not a great experience..... I would not recommend this place unless Sarah is not working however if Shade and Mirayah is working I would recommend this place in a heartbeat.. read more

My wife and daughter went by the Selma location after shopping in the Forum Saturday night (09/22/18) for a takeout order. They arrived around 8 pm in the bar area to place their order which to my understanding is the usual area to place a takeout. The bartender never approached them; after a short time another Hooter girl asked if they'd been helped and took their order. An HOUR later their order (20 wings, cheese burger, big fish sandwich, and burger sliders) finally came out of the kitchen. The male manager approached my family and said it looked like their order was on the way out. Glad he made contact, however, it took him an hour? Really? I asked if they were slammed and she said no, not really.....bar had maybe 3 patrons. Adding insult to injury....our order was sent out wrong.....Fish sandwich was supposed to come with coleslaw (there was none), daughter's burger was cheese only (came with bacon and was overcooked) and lastly there was NO seasoning on the curly fries. On the positive....the wings were ok (we got traditional) and the sliders as far as I could tell were ok. This is not the Hooters standard..........not sure what was going on, but thankfully the new one in San Marcos is just as close. read more

I stopped by today ( July 30/16) for the "fight night" occasion. As I walked in, nobody seemed to be in a rush to greet/ seat me as the Host at the time, "Kay" was texting/on her phone for a good few minutes before she even noticed my presence! Once Kay finally realized that I was growing impatient she smiled and recited a lackluster greeting only to become puzzled by the limited seating thanks to the day of. Once I was seated, my server, Heather took longer than I would have ever imagined to take my drink & entree order. Without going any further, It would probably be best for this location to get their heads' in the game beginning with their shoddy hosts. Like PEOPLE, the hosts are supposed to give me a reason to stay, not vice versa! haha. This S***hole will more than likely be shut-down in a year or so regardless. Where do I begin... Came in this afternoon while I was running errands for a quick beer and a bite. I took a seat in the middle of the bar and was treated promptly and had my beer within a minute. Great start. Now it all goes downhill. When the bartender brought my beer, she asked if I planned on eating. Yes, I do. She hands me a menu and says she will give me a minute to look it over... Meanwhile she flirts with the 1 other person sitting at the bar, plays on her cellphone, and chit chats with the other waitresses coming over to the bar. They discuss how the signature drinks taste like crap, and how guys in the restaurant are creeps for looking at them.... Uh, this is hooters, you volunteered to wear minimal clothing FOR A MALE DOMINANT clientele, to make your living. Please do not talk crap on customers IN FRONT OF OTHER CUSTOMERS! Lack of professionalism. Anyway, 30 minutes pass from the time I got my beer and she finally asks if I am ready to order. I order the buffalo chicken sandwich. The food came quite quickly, maybe 10 minutes... BUT, as I see her bringing it to me, she stops and talks to a waitress 10ft away. Just standing there holding my food while it gets cold for about 2 minutes when I am only 10 feet away. You couldn't manage to get it to me before you started gossip hour again??? I will say, my food was delicious. Now, food is gone, beer is empty. She comes and takes away the empty plate, I say I am finished, and assume my check will be coming. NOPE, 15 minutes of sitting with just an empty beer glass in front of me I am not offered a refill or my tab. She again is too busy playing on her cellphone. I finally ask her and get my check. Needless to say, I only give her a dollar and that was only for the promptness of my first beer. Nothing else that took place was worthy of a thank you let alone a tip. Worst experience we've had in a long time. To start with: the server was inattentive (it took 15 minutes for a water refill and we were literally right next to the station ), she mumbled the entire time, didn't have a solid understanding of the menu or available items. Next the order: we ordered an app which took 30+mins to receive (it's 630ish on a Saturday so I can kinda understand ) however we were then served with another app that we didn't order, we sent it back. Another 15-20 mins later we received our entrees which were also incorrect. The order had beef instead of chicken which we were willing to overlook until we realized it was cold on the first bite. Our other entrée was missing additional items. It took another 10 mins for a manager to come to our table and that was only after she had already gone to the wrong table and had to be directed over by our server. While the server was directing management over she already started to make it seem that we were in the wrong for complaining. Mamagement offered to replace the meal but we preferred to leave. She was extremely persistent on offering us food, which was proper, however we just wanted to leave. It took me rising from my seat before she apologized and allowed us to leave. This is the only location I've had severe problems at but I do not expect to be going to a Hooters again. read more

10 years ago. If you didn't get here by 11:30 AM. You were going to wait at least an hour to sit down. Today I have seen more tables open at 12 o'clock then ever before.
