I placed an UberEats order from Hooters in Savannah. My food arrived late and when I got it, it was completely cold. My daughter picked up her burger and a long strand of hair was hanging from it. I called them, the manager's response was the guy in the kitchen is bald. I expressed that other people handle and bag the food. She agreed it could have come from the girl at the bar. She said I could not get a refund because it was an UberEats order, but she could have it remade with no guarantee the driver would bring it back out. I declined her offer. I contacted UberEats who only provided me with a refund for the one burger even though I expressed wanting a full refund. I will NEVER eat at Hooters nor will I use UberEats again. Oh, and when I ordered it said Hooties Burger's I didn't realize until after the fact that it was Hooters. If I would have known, I would not have ever placed an order. read more

They have a sign saying "mask required" but when you walk in thats clearly not the case, they're walking around as if we're not in a pandemic. I've ordered take out from here a couple times now, because it's close to work, and I can order and pay through the app then pick it up on the way home. The order is never right, but it's Hooters, I'm not expecting Haúte cuisine. Tonight, though, was the worst. Ordered 1 sandwich, fries, 1 bottled soda, *$25.* Fine, whatever, placed the order. App says order received 9:18, food should be ready at 9:39. I walked in the door at 9:50. Foods not ready, hostess says she'll get the food. At 10:07, someone finally asked me why I was standing in the doorway, and that was only because they wanted to take a picture of the servers crowded around some high school kid for his birthday in front of the merch piles. The manager literally had me stand and wait while she took the picture instead of getting my order. I got my food at 10:14, almost an hour after the order was placed and more than 30 minutes after it was supposed to be ready. I walked out to my car and opened the bag immediately. Every bit of the food was ice cold, yet the bottled soda was warm Complete failure on every level. They could have a loyal customer, but they have never, not one single time, ever, gotten my order completely right- and I'm not even making wierd substitutions, they just put the wrong stuff in the bag. Ok I've been holding off on reviewing this place well because its a Hooters and no matter which one you go to they are all pretty much the same. What sets a specific Hooters apart from another is the waitresses and how nice they look and how nice they are and the atmosphere. I have been to this location several times with large parties for special occasions and they have always help make it a great time. For the most part the staff here is very friendly and accommodating but they don't make you feel like you're at a strip club being hustled for tips like I have felt other locations. So in one of the one ways to set themselves apart they do a pretty good job at it. Very good location to catch sporting events and they are always holding a special event of their own as well. As far as the wings go, they are Hooters wings and in my opinion the only way you can really mess up here is if you over or under cook the wings which this place usually does a good job of not screwing up. They do two things exceptionally well food wise which finally caused me to break down and write a review. The first is the fried pickles. If you are a fried pickle fan these rank up all long side some of the better ones I've had. The second thing that has really caught my attention is their blackened Mahi Mahi sandwich they have going on right now. First off this thing is a very very healthy portion of fish and man is it good. Be prepared to use a for though because it is so big and messy its hard to eat the continual way. Unfortunately this seems to be on their current seasonal menu so go get it while you can. I really hope they consider putting this on the menu full time. All that being said if you a fan of Hooters or the food this is a goo location to visit and with the Harley shop right next door it makes for a good destination stop. read more

I came here on a road trip. My food was pretty good but for some reason I got a bunch of little tiny fries. You know, the ones that are at the very bottom of the batch and its mostly just crumbs? yeah. THe hooters girl that served us was very pretty but didnt give very good customer service. She was sweet and nice but she didnt come and see how we were doing or if we needed anything very often. And it took a while for our checks to come out. They hadn't brought the child's food out at all. Waited another 5 minutes for a manager. We left. Follow up. I contacted their corporate office which in turn contacted the store we visited, which contacted me,,,within an hour after leaving. We visited a week later and they did exceptionally well. I had a very enjoyable time here on a late afternoon while visiting Savannah. I had some time to kill in the late afternoon and decided to relax with some beers and an appetizer at Hooters. This Hooters has real excellent servers. The bartender was exceedingly friendly and made me feel at home. Service was very prompt. The draft beer selection is not the largest that you will see, but the large Yuengling draft for $5.35 hit the spot. I had some chicken strips with it as an appetizer that were just fine. It was relaxing to sit at their bar and have the beer and appetizer. This is a real nice spot to relax with a drink and watch some games. read more

Just waited 35 minutes for 2 orders of wings and an order of curly fries. Our server was MIA so we couldn't ask about our food. When we finally asked her she said it was almost ready. We told her we were not waiting any longer and would pay for our drinks. She then went to the food area and waited a few minutes then talked to a female in a black shirt that we're assuming was the manager, she then brought over the food we ordered in to go boxes. We're traveling home on the interstate and definitely didn't want to eat wings while driving and we had already told her we didn't want the food after waiting so long. We can only assume she gave us the food in the to go boxes because she thought we'd pay for it. We were told we still had to pay for our teas which was $6.40, seriously. She did ask us if wanted to go cups...we hadn't drank much and because we waited so long the ice had melted in the glass. No manager ever came over and our server didn't seem to care one way or the other. They were NOT busy at all!! It's been several years since I last visited the Savannah Hooters and not much has changed. No greeting from any of the waitresses, no one at the hostess station and generally a drab/dingy feeling environment there. I've been to the Hooters restaurants in five other states, ( west and east coasts, ) always the same great service with friendly atmosphere at every one. Savannah is the exception. So-so wings, sort of tough. Slow to get drinks, slow to receive food, ( it wasn't overly busy, ) drink glasses were empty by the time the waitress made her way back to the table to see if we needed refills. No acknowledgment from the waitresses when customers departed. Overall, a mildly disappointing experience.. especially for the price they charge. read more

Hooters - what to say....the view is supposed to distract you from the food. It does that well enough. Our server was excellent - totally attentive to everyone at the table, but she did not have much knowledge of the beer list. They were out of Guinness - but the beer list is extensive. The wings and fries my husband had were fine, but my steak and cheese sandwich was quite good. Hooters as a whole has gone downhill. The service at this particular location is horrible and the wings were delivered cold twice. One of our friends ordered a simple cheeseburger and it took the four times to get it correct. This could be understood if it was a busy time, but it was not. When I came here earlier this year, we were waiting on our food for 45 minutes. Several tables who were seated after us received their food before us. Where to start? This place is a total disaster. To it's credit, the food wasn't bad at all. However, everything else is a total nightmare. Whoever owns and /or manages this place needs to have the franchise revoked. Dirty, Dirty, Dirty! You have to be a total moron to spend all day in here and overlook the entire restaurant in shambles. When we sat down the table was sticky, so we wiped it down with our baby's wipes, they turned out totally black. Being from St. Louis, I know what fresh Budweiser tastes like, and it's obvious they haven't cleaned their draft beer lines in ages. Go for the bottles. Or just don't come here. It literally takes a few minutes to clean out draft beer lines if done regularly. Vents in the ceilings are totally black from dust and filth, and trim around the vents were hanging down. How do you not just hammer a nail into it? Seats in the booth were totally ripped with large pieces of foam exposed. How do you not just pay someone to reupholster? Whole place smelled musty. Slap a fresh coat of paint on the place for God sakes. Bathrooms, . Baby changing tables were black, sinks covered in water, and white mold on the walls of the stalls and trim around the floor. Make your employees do an hourly bathroom check perhaps? Again all things that could be handled fairly easily if the management wasn't totally inept. Great location, if ran properly it would probably flourish. Oh and the sign still said Mothers Eat Free. On Thursday, August 15th I got the cheeseburger sliders. These were so good. I ordered the curly fries instead of the onion straws they came with and took them home. I got twenty of the naked, spicy garlic wings ate about four of those at the restaurant and took the rest home. Of course I ordered my all time favorite, the fried pickles which I shared with my fellow poker players. Yes Thursday night is poker night at Hooter's. We usually stop at hooters on road trips as it's easy and they have something for everyone. I'm beating my self up for this one. I decided to look them up and it's really no ones fault but my own for still deciding to "give them a chance". The place smelled like mold as we walked in. The hostess/waitress greeted and sat us quickly in a booth by the bar...the booth seats had huge holes with cushion coming out...wtf? I went to change my daughter in the ladies room and had to wipe down the changing table....by the 5th BLACK wipe from wiping down the table, I gave up and went to the car to change her. The menus were sticky, the table was sticky, this whole place was absolute shit. I'll give them this, the wings(the only thing I could come to order after the disgust of this place) were good! Besides that I'm not sure how this place is still open. I've been to plenty of other hooters and this doesn't seem to be hooters standards. Food was yummy and service was excellent. If you're expecting gourmet meals, you're gonna be disappointed. But if you want a place that will quench your thirst and fill you're belly, then Hooters will do the trick. The service was excellent and the staff was pleasant and easy on the eyes. I'm sorry, but if I'm about to stuff my gut with fattening not food, I don't want to look at overweight staff that will make me feel guilty. Instead, staring at skinny and attractive staff will make me forget about counting calories and watching my fat content. Sometimes you need a break, y'know. I went to Hooters on 21 Feb '20 and I waited an entire hour for my order. So I asked for the manager who never came but did arrive with my food an hour later. I simply asked Melissa the manager on duty if I still had to pay for this. Instead of apologizing for my lengthy wait time or offering a discount. I was told that there is a 40 minute wait time on Fridays although an hour had passed. I was then told again by Melissa the manager that she does not control food times and how she has dine in and take out orders to take care of. She then said do you want the food or not because I can take it back. I said no! I do not want the food and felt her behavior as a manager was extremely inappropriate. I am also a military veteran and know that this Hooters is the only one in Savannah and know Veterans and Soldiers frequent this place and felt that Melissa's behavior was inappropriate as a manager, should not have to be tolerated by a paying customer, and feel she should not hold that level of position if she has no respect for customer concerns. read more

So disappointing! I used to always stop here when traveling I 95 between Florida and South Carolina. The place has turned into a real shit hole. First of all, there was no air conditioning so it was very warm and humid. The humidity makes everything smell stronger and you could smell the stank coming out of the carpet from all the food that is being ground into it. I asked my waitress how long had the AC been out and she rolled her eyes and said"For a while now" I had ordered sweet tea, but when I tasted it it was like unsweetened tea. I never saw the waitress again until my food came which took a very long time especially considering they were not that busy. When she did come back I asked her if she was not sure about the tea, maybe she had gotten it out of the wrong picture. She said no I did but we've had a lot of complaints about it. I'm thinking to myself "WTF? If they have had a lot of complaints and why has not anyone taken the initiative to make new tea?" When my wings came the sauce on them was very spotty. Good food usually, but do NOT go late (8pm on a Friday). Rush hour for them, we were given undercooked fries and undercooked burgers.

Service here was atrocious. The GA game was on and the volume on the tv was so loud I couldn't here my husband talking to me across the table. The women's bathroom floor was covered with water leaking from the toilets, and the staff knew about it but left it there. The server we had took our order and literally never came back. The manager ran our food and we had to keep catching her to ask for things like ketchup and a drink refill. Our server didn't even know we asked for our check.
