Hooters has been going down in quality for years. If it was up to me I'd never eat here again, but my brother wanted to get take out after seeing them in a movie. They made 2 of one sandwich and forgot the other one. The girl says she'll have the kitchen make the missing sandwich. I tell her by that time the whole bag will be cold so I want the entire order remade. She calls over the manager who clearly could care less. They both reassure me "the chicken is already cooked it will only take a minute." So I start my stopwatch on my phone. Their version of "a minute" is 8 1/2 minutes. So I was right - my food and our appetizer were cold and soggy. $60 for a disgusting meal for two and bad customer service. It's really no wonder Hooters are going out of business across the country. Should have gone to Twin Peaks, I went today for Veterans Day, as I never take advantage of Veterans day freebies. So Me and my Pup decided to have lunch @ Hooters to celebrate Vets Day...ordered my Pup a plain chicken breast until I ordered food for me. We waited,waited,waited, and waited some more, and when I finally was able to flag our waitress, oh so sorry I forgot chicken breast. A simple order, so we waited some more, waited, waited, and guess what waited some more. They changed the hot (sauce) formulation last week (according to their management) and that has changed the flavor and consistency of the wings. I was disappointed because the wings seemed dry and the sauce had accumulated on the bottom of the serving plate. In addition the fries we ordered were clearly the dregs of a prior batch of fried that were left over. There were some freshly cooked fries on top but the mostly dregs. I should have caught this earlier but my attention was on the disappointing wings. read more

Haven't had Hooters wings in ages. Had a hankerin' so ordered delivery. Ordered 20 wings (all flat). Was pleasantly surprised that they offered that option. I like my wings without breading or smothered in sauce. So I ordered them dry with a side of celery sticks, ranch dressing and their 911 sauce. The delivery came sooner than we expected and the wings were still nice and hot and crispy on the outside, juicy in the inside. Perfectly done as evidenced by the photos attached. Wow... so disappointing in quality,size & preparedness of Chicken Wings! Server did a reasonable job so I give her generous bump for service, but that's not the issue on this review. Haven't been at this location for quite a while, including my girlfriend never been to Hooters, so we arrived during happy hour 3-6pm, ordered tall Mex. beer for $8+ was a great bargain, nice and cold! So far so good. It was Wings Wednesday, buy 20 get 10 more for the same price,decided to try 3/sauce 2 of the three combination arrived under cook and lack the sauces we requested, So want do you do? Normally, I would not eat anything further and just excusing myself with the server that the food is bad and pay for the beers and leave (I normally don't do...do-overs), but my Girlfriend insisted we send them back, yeah..that an option, because I can tell she was hungry for some wings! So I decided to conceived to her wishes, but first taste each sauce before requesting a do-over- and unfortunately everything tasted not great , not good but just ok/fair! Fortunately, just after sampling each sauce the floor manager walk by to save the moment by asking "how is everything",prefect opportunity to send one of most obvious wings back for a do-over that were undercooked and lack sauce, which was the ones my girlfriend picked, the other just need more sauce but one of the other I pick was still a little under cooked. However, the weirdest thing to me was the manager said, "it would take about 15 minutes" to redo that order ,when we receive our full order under 10/minutes.. which only clarified why our order was received undercook, because the new order did come back within that time frame, and my girlfriend said they are perfect (note...not tasty) even thou it's a sauce I would never order, she was happy. Review: The Chicken Wings quality have deteriorated, they look like Walmart not Costco quality, to use that analogy, very small like some of the other competitors Franchises. Server only came back with our check there after, never asked if we care for anything else or Manager never came back either to check everything was all right, I don't blame them! I really dislike writing this, because bringing a new first time guest and having to send anything back was a disappointing experience for both of us! Guys go to Hooter's to get cheap thrills (guilty as charged), but it's so much more! i travel a lot, so during a trip, I just want to watch a game, have a quick meal, and drink a cold beer or two. This Hooters does everything well. The 3-Mile-Island Wings are really good, and the beer is always frosty. This Hooters has great Servers that are very friendly and talkative. Often, they sit at my table, just talking, and enjoying the game. They really make you feel comfortable after a long day's work. I understand covid regulations and I think hooters had done that immaculately with social distancing. However being a female I was told my wait was going to be over 2.5 hours. I said that was fine as I had I know the wait times were going to be longer due to limited seating. However I am appalled by the way they treated me. I've seen two groups of men go in and got sat before I. I must admit I've seen this at the San Mateo location but never have been treated like this before here. Was hoping to have a good meal or at least a good experience, WRONG.. The manager needs a class in customer service or at least on how to great people.. The chicken tacos we ordered were partially cooked. They asked if we wanted the kitchen to remake it or if we want something else-NO. Why would we want the kitchen to make something else if they couldn't cook it right the first time.. My meal was make wrong. The excuse was that the kitchen was in a hurry and didn't pay attention to the ticket, poor excuse. The only good of the visit was the server. She was polite, professional and sympathetic to our experience. She apologized for the kitchen because the manager didn't. Normally a tip would reflect our experience but instead it was a reflection of her sincerity and professionalism. She is the only reason this place gets any stars at all. read more

I tend to go for the all you can eat wings on Wednesday. The wings are pretty good (one of the things they are known for). The service is usually hit or miss. This week it was pretty good, but really, it just seems to depend on the week. I'm not sure if that's a staffing (attitude and/or number of people) problem, a culture problem, or a management problem. The lack of consistency is a real issue though. I don't often get anything else, so it's hard to add much else to the review, but when you look at the other reviews (especially the negative ones), it tends to be more about service issues than food issues. read more

Placed an online order tonight it said it would be ready in 20 minutes I show up to the restaurant the food is not ready I wait another 45 minutes and the food is still not ready. While I'm waiting they are packing up other to-go boxes and they dropped some ranch containers on the floor where they're walking. So we went back to the car to wait and after about 10-15 minutes our table was ready which was a great surprise. Watched the Cowboys-Browns game here with my son and my friend Jim. The service was very slow and then became non-existent when the waitress found out we were done ordering pitchers. Lots of camaraderie with fellow Cowboys fans, but Jim was the sole Browns fan. The wings tasted good, though I'm sure they are completely unhealthy. A bit pricey as 20 wings were $18. I'm always a little on the fence about Hooters... on one hand, I like their Buff Chick sliders and the all-you-can-eat wing Wednesdays (especially now that you can have boneless wings) but on the other hand we always end up in an awkward spot - in the patio freezing our butts in the middle of winter or in a booth whose tables are way too big for the actual booth so trying to fit more than two adults in them (even though they're very nice and should seat double that) is painful or on a high top table on stools with no backs. Then there's the service - it's usually slow so we end up waiting for everything. I've never been super thrilled to go there but I don't mind when I do. read more

This is the worst trip to hooters we have ever had. 11:30 in the morning and there is only a hand full of people in the restaurant. We are seated on the patio and within just 2 minutes we are asked what we want. Our waitress was rude and inattentive. We ordered 10 wings and some sliders and they came out in just a few minutes. Our wings and fries were cold and had been sitting under the heat lamp the sliders buns were drenched in butter and one of the pieces of chicken was completely inedible. Probably one of my least favorite locations for Hooters. I've been to at least 10. From LA to San Diego and over to Chicago and Minnesota. So different places and different crowds. It's definitely a step up from the Bakersfield location in terms of how the servers look, but the food wasn't as good as all the other locations. I was surprised at how great everything was last time I took my wife and our kids to eat there. The waitress was great she was making my wife and kids feel comfortable and did a great job making sure we were happy. I understand why initially the ladies that work there can seem rude or annoyed but I give them credit for showing up to work everyday having to deal with jealous women and drunk Obnoxious men there are some very beautiful and intimidating women that work at hooters yes but in my experience they are professional and nice and they are there to do a job not to be friends with everyone. Stopped in for lunch and the food was good. However the promotion they are running is buy 20 wings get 10 free. We ordered for dining in and placed a to go order as well. We were informed that they couldn't add the 10 wings for in dining to the to go order and was made to pay separately for all the wings. In total I ordered 40 wings. Instead of just adding it all together on one order it was 2. Manager said it wasn't doable. Really disappointed with this location since Hooters is my favorite place to eat read more

So, i am giving 3 stars because the food was good.... We ordered several items including a kids meal. Everyone was done eating and the kids meal still had not arrived. When Cheyenne, the waitress, came with our bill, I asked about the kids meal that never came, then after she finally brought it if they had taken it off the bill, she said no, would you like to talk to the manager, I said yes (after she argued whether my son was 12 or not). 45 minutes later, she hasn't filled water, no manager. Hooters certainly has a reputation of being more about the waitresses than the food. This one was a good mix of good food and good staff. My kids love coming here because the fries are amazing. My husband and I almost always get varying different styles of wings and while we don't like all the flavors, we really enjoy the parmesan in the original style. The naked wings are also good. The TVs are always on to varying different channels and there's almost always a sports game to watch. The wait staff was kind enough to change one of the TVs close to us to the monster truck rally that was showing on another TV. My boys love monster trucks, so that was awesome. Our waitress was friendly, but a little slow at times and we had to verify our order and had to work to catch her attention a few times. Other than that, which is arguably a minor deal, my family had a great time. We will be going back again. read more
