I am happy to see his love for basketball grow from this program. Thank you HoopsFit!

Unfortunately, my experience with this program has been very disappointing. When enrolling my…read moredaughter, I was under the impression that I was paying for a single class, as that was how the receptionist communicated it to me. I was not made to feel that the ongoing billing policy and cancellation requirements were clearly explained at the time of enrollment. When I noticed the charges and reached out to address the situation, I was met with repeated responses emphasizing the online agreement I had signed rather than a genuine effort to understand my concerns regarding the lack of communication during enrollment. I understand that businesses have policies in place, and I respect that they need to reserve spots for enrolled students. However, I believe it is equally important for staff to clearly communicate recurring payments and cancellation policies upfront so parents can make informed decisions before providing payment information. What made this experience even more frustrating was having to go back and forth through multiple emails without feeling that my original concern was being acknowledged. Instead of feeling supported as a parent, I felt that the focus was solely on enforcing the policy. Due to this experience, I will not be returning to the program. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and improves communication during the enrollment process so other families do not experience the same frustration. I am sharing my experience honestly so other parents can be aware of the importance of confirming all billing terms before enrolling their children. Addendum to the owners response: I believe it is important to clarify that my concern has never been about whether an agreement was electronically signed, but rather the lack of clear communication from the front office regarding recurring monthly payments at the time of enrollment. I enrolled my daughter based on the information provided to me by the receptionist, who led me to understand that I was paying for the individual class. Had the ongoing monthly billing and cancellation requirements been clearly communicated to me verbally, I would have had the opportunity to make an informed decision before enrolling her and submitting my payment information. While I acknowledge that the policies were included in the electronic agreement, having a policy available to sign is not the same as ensuring that a new parent fully understands the financial commitment being made, particularly when the information provided by staff creates a different expectation. I am sharing the attached photos to provide additional context and support my concerns. I reached out directly to resolve this matter, and I do not believe my concerns should be dismissed simply because an electronic agreement was signed. Better communication during the enrollment process could have prevented this misunderstanding entirely. I respect that ERA Gymnastics has its policies, but I also believe parents deserve clear, transparent communication about recurring charges before committing to a program. I hope this feedback is taken constructively so future families do not experience a similar situation.
