I took my 7 week old puppy to him on Friday for exam and first shots. When I brought her in I told him her appetite and movement has decreased and she threw up in the car. He told me she was lethargic and underweight. Asked if I was feeding her all she wanted. Accusing me of denying her food. And said she was probably just car sick. I should feed her more of the food they sell, its better. I felt very rushed, like I inconvenienced him by bringing her in (I had an appt, wasn't a walk in). The next day her symptoms got worse to where she wasn't eating at all and could barely hold her head up. It was a Saturday so we had to call the emergency number and the woman (the owner) came in to see her. She said my puppy had an extreme case of hookworm, worse than she's ever seen. And she had parvo. The woman was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately it was too late and my puppy died the following morning. If this man had just done his job and cared even a little he would've figured out my puppy was actually sick, not just a tummy ache. If he did more than just accuse me of starving her my puppy could've had a fighting chance. But he didn't care enough. I will forever resent this man for doing nothing to save my pup. I'm not even sure I could trust going back to this place again knowing he's there.

It's been 5 months since my frenchie baby, Walter, passed away. I wanted to give him the best…read moreafter- death services I could and I believe I did by having his body cared for by Anuenue. I can't say enough great things about Maki, her communication, and customer service. I reached out from Oahu after discovering the company online. I really liked the aquamation process, how gentle it is in comparison to cremation, and that it is environmentally conscious. There are no pet services like this on Oahu and with Maki's help I was able to figure out how to ship Walter's body to her. (For anybody wondering I used Aloha Air Cargo to ship) She kept me in the loop through the whole process, accommodated all my requests, and above all else was so kind and supportive. I feel that Walter was in great hands at Anuenue; it was and still is so hard to lose him but I feel at peace knowing his body was handled with great care. His remains were shipped back to me and everything was beautifully and meticulously packaged. Anuenue provided a beautiful bamboo urn and a clay paw print. I also received hair clippings, nose and paw prints, and, upon my request, some of his bones. I had asked if I could keep any in-tact bones/teeth, Maki said yes and after I selected which ones I wanted she carefully packaged each individual piece. I know that it is a taboo thing for most people but if you are like me and wanted something more tangible just know that that is an option for you. Overall, I would highly recommend choosing them for your pet's after-care needs.

We liked the idea of a greener approach rather than cremation, and the service they gave was excellent. It was very timely, and when they were finished our dog was returned in a beautiful bamboo container with his name etched into the lid. Inside, instead of just a plastic bag containing his remains, they were then enclosed in a linen like bag. He now rests near his favorite spot in the house and we couldn't be happier. Definitely consider using them, you won't regret it.
