The staff are always ready to help, and it seems like staff turnover is non-existent, because the same workers have been here since I've been coming. It's nice to have staff that are familiar to me and my pets' needs. I also love that they don't sell pets in an effort to encourage adoption. I don't get why others left negative reviews, because what they described is nothing like what I've witnessed. I will keep coming here.

Our ohana went to many clinics on island but none could top this clinic. We first trusted Kauai vet a few months ago with our 12yo old lady Brindle/Blue pitbull named Fatgirl, this clinic provided the most reliable and optimal care for our fatgirl who was going through a rough time dealing with the symptoms of her cancer. They helped us put fatgirl to rest and took very good care of us giving us MANY options, treating us with aloha, patience and compassion. Kauai vet clinic doctors AND staff took very good of our old lady and just met our Fatboy for the first time yesterday with the same care and attention. Their emergency fee is also a lot cheaper than most clinics. We will continue to trust kauai vet as they've been really good to us and our fur babies. Special mahalo to our Fatboy's Dr. Bethany, tech. Rebecca and front office Aulana that treat us like ohana. Mahalo nui!!!

Both paws are bleeding. He then blamed me for holding her wrong. I said we are leaving immediately and his only response was "you still have a bill to pay". She has been to the groomer within the last 4 weeks and did perfectly. The vet chopped all her nails past the quick before I knew what was happening. If they can't manage a simple nail trim (that wasn't needed) I would never trust them with anything else! She is also now traumatized so going to a new vet or the groomer could be a future issue. Gave me a bill for $150. Dr James E Robertson. I guess he is new here from Arizona.
