There wasn't a lot of back-and-forth--you were upfront, explained everything clearly, and made sure I knew exactly what to expect. I also appreciated the call letting me know the ladies were on their way. They arrived and got straight to work. They were professional, pleasant, and did a wonderful job. It's truly a breath of fresh air to work with a company that does exactly what they say they're going to do and within the timeframe promised. Excellent customer service and a great overall experience. I would definitely recommend The Maid Place!

We read a lot of reviews and I'm really glad we ended up going with The Maid Place. They sent a team of 5 for our first "deep" clean to start off our service and they worked so hard and so fast! When I pointed out a few things at the end that I'd like fixed, they did it quickly and without issue, and I was charged less for this team of 5 who did an amazing job than the 1 woman from NextDoor charged me who did a terrible job! Don't waste your time with random "independent business people" on apps, just go with these guys. They will do an amazing job, they stand behind their work, and they're so professional and easy to schedule with!

First, the positives: Omar is a prompt communicator. It's very easy to communicate with him…read more However, when it comes to quality of work - it's far subpar. Our home used to be an Airbnb, and we've used many cleaners to help manage the cleaning of the property between guests and to help us care for our home while we were living in it. I asked for a quote for a deep clean of our 4 bedroom, 3 bath home. He replied with the lowest bid - at $225. I knew this was low, even though it was roughly 30% higher than our standard bi-monthly cleaning, but I made the assumption he may be new and giving discounted rates to retain customers. I let him know this was a deep clean before we list our home to show it. That was my mistake. He left cobwebs on mirror vanities, didn't clean under any of our nightstands or furniture. He missed our laundry room entirely. The area around the dog bowl hadn't been cleaned. Nor the corners of the kitchen cabinets and the trim along the back door. Our bedroom looked as if it hadn't been vacuumed or mopped. The baby's room shelving still had dust on it, and we filled an entire vacuum just doing the upstairs. The stair railings were missed, not a baseboard was addressed and we had no cleaning of cabinets or anything outside of counters and surfaces. Our cleaners, who charge between $129-$169 for bi-monthly cleans do a more sufficient job. When I communicated my concerns, he suggested he cleaned all surfaces and that the home just got dirty because of the children and dog. To which I replied that wasn't our experience in the past. The pictures are just a handful of areas that were left untouched. And, he will gaslight you entirely when you bring up your concerns.

To say we are disappointed with Starla's painting would be an understatement. We hired her to…read morepaint our garage and her work did not live up to our expectations. Starla did not prime the walls and due to that we now can see irregularities such as paint samples we had painted previously on the wall even after 3 coats of paint. She also does not use a tarp or any cover therefore there is paint on our floors. She doesn't use painters tape and even when asked about it she said no and due to that all of our corners and edges, including our windows, look sloppy and unacceptable for a professional paint job. After I spent hours beforehand making the windows look nice, I now have to re do all of that work. There are roller marks on the walls she painted, and the corners are still white in some areas due to uneven painting. We also had her paint a bench in our home where she did not use tape and therefore painted not only our bench but a sloppy line onto the walls attached. In the process, she got black paint on our garage door and when trying to remove that paint, damaged the door, therefore we need to re paint the door as well. We now have to hire another painter to fix all her mistakes and do the job correctly. I'm hopeful this review helps anyone in the future considering hiring her for a paint job.
