With the second purchase, I forgot to order the log kit insert, so I paid for it on site at the time of installation. With a trip out of town, I forgot to go pick them up at the store. When temperatures fell this week and I fired up the stove for the first time, I realized MY error. Now, five months later, called the shop and spoke with the now 'new' owners who immediately provided me with the logs. Exceptional service in that they had no record of that previous purchase, but went above and beyond to make this customer happy. They could have easily, and rightly so, had me pay again for the logs. We will continue to use and recommend Heffley's, without reservation!

The service technician, Jammy, was knowledgeable, quickly diagnosed the issue, replaced the faulty part, and had our system running again in less than 45 minutes. We paid the quoted amount (which seemed a little high but everything is these days) and were very pleased with both the service and having cold air again. Unfortunately, the billing experience afterward was confusing and extremely frustrating. Later that afternoon, I received an invoice via email showing a balance that was $120 less than what we had already paid. When my husband called to ask about the discrepancy, he was told we were OVERcharged that morning and that they would send the tech back by to exchange our original check for a new one reflecting the lower amount. The technician never returned to exchange the checks, and two days later our original check was cashed. We called again and was told we would be issued a refund that would be mailed to us (that we never received). The next week we began receiving emails and text messages stating that we owed an additional $120. After MULTIPLE phone calls trying to sort things out and MULTIPLE explanations for all of the discrepancies, I finally spoke with the head of accounts receivable. I was then told that the original invoice had actually UNDERcharged us by approximately 50%, and that the company had decided not to pursue the additional amount because of all the confusion surrounding the billing. The repair itself was excellent, and Jammy provided prompt, professional service. However, the billing process was disorganized and irritating and because of that, we probably will not use again.

We will start with the outside work I had them do . I had to chase Dale Baldwin around to make sure that he and his helper were doing things right. Of course he started putting vents in the soffit none of the vents are the same distance apart or turned the same direction. Corner boards which he replaced with new. Started out he wasn't cutting the two the same length at the bottom. Insisted on using screws instead of nails fond numerous screws that were not set below the wood. Their texture work there is no resemblance to any texture in my home whatsoever. Simple knockdown texture. Inside both bedrooms were never cut in at the base boards. Paint spots all over my carpet then tried using goof off to clean the spots with. This just made big splotches of the dye pulled out of the carpet. Stain work on the trim for the window casing was awful put it on and never wiped it down. The 45 degree corners of inside window casings had 1/2 gaps that had to be filled with wood putty. Paint all over light fixture in bathroom and bathroom did not cover with one coat of paint. He was paid to put two coats. I have a total of 41 pictures of unfinished unacceptable work. BEWARE OF THIS CONTRACTOR!

Joe went above and beyond and worked so hard for us when our insurance company was less than cooperative for us to get the new roof that we desperately needed. He was our advocate and I could genuinely tell he wanted to help us. Joe is professional, responsive, and an excellent communicator and always kept me in the loop with the entire process. My new roof was put on today and I am thrilled. It looks great and I no longer have to worry about water leaking into our home when it rains! My roof was scheduled and installed within the same week.
