Truly Exceptional Results and an Amazing Team!…read more I honestly cannot express how grateful I am to Dr. Benjamin Chu and his amazing assistant, Hyun. After having my breast revision surgery, I can confidently say that choosing Dr. Chu was one of the best decisions I could have made! I had some unique concerns and complications, and I genuinely wasn't sure anyone would be able to address them or give me the results I was hoping for. From my very first consultation, Dr. Chu was incredibly kind, knowledgeable, and straightforward. He took the time to understand my individual concerns, was honest about what was realistically achievable, and managed my expectations throughout the entire process. My surgery went extremely well, and the results are absolutely phenomenal! I finally feel confident in my body again, especially when wearing a bikini. I couldn't be happier with the outcome. If you're considering breast revision surgery, especially if you have a unique or complicated case and feel like there's no hope, I cannot recommend Dr. Chu enough. I was originally referred to him by my boss, who also had a facelift with him and looked amazing--so I went in with high hopes, and he absolutely delivered. The recovery was much easier than I anticipated, with minimal pain throughout. What really impressed me is how subtle and natural everything looks--no "overdone" appearance, just a refreshed version of myself. Even the scars are nearly undetectable at this point, which speaks volumes about the precision and skill involved. The staff deserves a special mention--they were incredibly supportive from start to finish. Truly a team of "hype girls" who made me feel comfortable, confident, and cared for every step of the way. Beware anyone recovering from ED or just trying to heal from toxic body messaging in general. I feel this provider is in violation of his Hippocratic oath and honestly should receive some serious training and discipline. Absolutely would not recommend. I have found so much respect and dignity in consultations with other providers since, and that contrast has further underscored just how unprofessional and inappropriate and reckless this provider behaved. I'm unsure how he has so many positive reviews. I contacted two other providers for consults after seeing Dr Phan and BOTH OF THEM informed me that they have heard similar stories to mine from other women who saw Dr Phan. What are the odds of that? Simply awful.

My plastic surgery journey began after successfully losing 100 lbs at age 48, which left me with a…read moresubstantial "apron belly" of hanging excess skin and fat. Since a full abdominoplasty ($14K-$20K) was too expensive, I pursued a medically necessary panniculectomy. My search was exhaustive: Dr. Delos Reyes was the only one of 35 surgeons listed by my insurance who accepted coverage for the procedure. Though I couldn't find typical tummy tuck photos, my trust was built on outstanding reviews from women who had complex breast reconstruction after mastectomy--a powerful endorsement. Given my health history, his hospital privileges at Queen's Medical Center were another critical assurance for emergency care. My first five-minute meeting in July 2025 was refreshingly straightforward. Dr. Delos Reyes is direct, professional, and not a salesman; he expects clarity on your goals. He immediately handled the insurance pre-authorization, which was approved in a month. Once the panniculectomy was approved, upgrading to a full abdominoplasty was an "add-on" (under $10K out-of-pocket). It was worth it: the add-on covered crucial muscle repair (which helped my chronic back pain and improved shape) and the tummy tuck's belly button. He performs outpatient surgery at Surgicare of Hawaii (Restaurant Row), avoiding costly hospital facility fees. On September 22nd, I was in pre-op at 6:30 am. After Dr. Delos Reyes drew the surgical lines (get a picture--it's life-changing to see!), surgery began at 8 am. The procedure took 4.5 hours (longer than the expected 3 hours due to the extensive muscle repair). Going home that day was seamless. The next day, when he removed the binder, I was unprepared for the sight: everything was smooth--a sight I hadn't seen in my life. My incision was absolutely perfect, like the smile of my belly. I'm now the woman who LOVES looking at her body and shares her journey proudly! I even had a moment of confusion because my belly button looked too high; I was just used to seeing it three inches lower with the pannus. As for the belly button, I was shocked by its perfection: he cuts a little heart shape! Two months out, the tiny stitch lines are virtually invisible. My faith in his hospital privileges paid off immediately. The night before my 1-week check-up, I fainted and rushed to QMC ED. It turned out my drains had clogged. Nurses there spoke highly of him, noting his work, including ED cases. By 10 am, Dr. Delos Reyes was at the hospital, and I was back in surgery by noon to resolve the issue. Later, in week four, I ripped my incision by lifting something (listen to your surgeon!). This resulted in 10 follow-up appointments in six weeks. If anyone knows what it's like to go through surgery, complications, and constant attention from their surgeon--it's me. Dr. Delos Reyes is a surgeon of exceptional caliber. His surgical skill is evident in the aesthetic results: the intricate, heart-shaped belly button, the incredibly tight muscle repair, and the virtually invisible incision line. However, the true measure of his professionalism and commitment was revealed in how he handled complications. His immediate, decisive action during my emergency room visit and his consistent, attentive care over ten follow-up appointments in six weeks demonstrate a dedication that goes far beyond the operating table. If you are seeking a direct, honest, and world-class surgeon who is fully prepared to deliver excellence, even when challenges arise, Dr. Delos Reyes should be your absolute first call.

LOOKING FOR AN AMAZING GENUINE SURGEON WITH SUCH A POLITE STAFF?…read more this is the place! I've done my research from videos, to review websites, you name it. LOCATION: His office is located on the 9th floor (you can always call their office for their address if you don't trust the maps app on your iPhone lol) Park on any floor that is convenient for you and use the elevator to go the ground floor, then you'll have to walk into the lobby, you'll see another set of elevators take that and go to the 9th floor, and you'll see signs for his office which is 999. CONSULTATION: I had a consultation with Dr. Phan and as like anyone else i was pretty nervous, i had watched all the youtube, TikTok videos i could find for breast aug and it didn't seem like enough. Dr. Phan is amazing at going through every detail and knowing what will suit YOUR body and what i liked most about him was he cares more of what looks BEST for YOUR body. If you haven't don't much research he is more than willing to answer your questions and he will work with you to find a good solution, one that you will also be happy with. He will also do the best and the most he can for you in the safest way possible. That was the moment i knew i was at the right place. SURGERY DAY: Prior to surgery day they will give you a packet basically telling you what need to do to prep yourself for surgery. When you arrive you need to the basics, take a pregnancy test, undress into the gown they give you. The nurse i totally forgot her name i was so anxious that morning lol, but she sets you up with an IV then you wait for doc to mark you up and after that you're into the OP room! After surgery, i honestly did not feel any pain once i got home i assumed there would be blood. LET ME TELL YOU, THERE WAS NOOOO DROP OF BLOOD, none! STAFF: Amber his receptionist is the sweetest! Always answers with a polite tone, always greets you at the door with a smile and a warm hello! Grace also so sweet and amazing, other receptionists need to take notes because they were so amazing i didn't have to dread walking into their office or just calling them because they were always so nice and you just always feel comfortable. POST-OP APPOINTMENTS: The amount of post-op appointments was so reassuring because he really wants to make sure that you are healing well and correctly. If you have any questions or concerns he will always go over things every appointment just so you are aware, and that you understand. OVERALL: I 1000% recommend Dr.Phan he is truly amazing , i read a review where he came off as rude, arrogant, Despite that review i came in for a consult and wanted to just see what it was like for myself, in actuality he is honest, genuine, and most importantly he wants what is best for the patient and he wants to achieve the patients goals in a safe manner, while meeting expectations! I am 6 months post op. I healed amazing, i love my results and i do not regret one thing. He was amazing in ways i couldn't even imagine, from the consult, surgery, recovery everything went so smoothly, he has GREAT BEDSIDE MANNER what more could you ask for!? I definitely recommend Dr.Phan and his staff to anyone and everyone. I had an amazing experience thank you Dr.Phan and staff.

They were great from reception to surgery day. Amber is lovely, the nurse was great, the anesthesia provider was amazing and put me at ease and made me laugh before going under, and Dr. Phan didn't really under promise but certainly over delivered. I have one small spot that may need a small revision (a really small dog ear, maybe) IF it doesn't just go flat and heal in the next 6 months, but I'm confident Dr. Phan will fix something if it needs it and I also know it's a very common occurrence after surgery and a quick fix. If I could afford to do my breasts, Dr. Phan would definitely be the plastic surgeon I'd choose. Hands down a better experience than I even could have asked for. Will update my results with pictures when I heal a little more.
