This is the BEST Chinese food I have ever had!!! Now called HONG XIN with new owners but same phone…read morenumber. I'm 54 years old and I'd almost given up eating Chinese food until I ate here, now it's the only place I order/eat it from. I tell everyone about it and they all agree how good it is once they have it! Each food has it's own taste! It's not too salty! The rice is moist and tastes like rice, and you can taste the chicken or beef etc rather than it all tasting the same. The chicken balls seem small but that is becasue they are not totally caked in breading and the breading that is on them is crispy delicious and not greasy at all. You get pretty much an equal portion of breading to chicken so you are not so full of breading and you're able to enjoy more of their other great dishes. Their food is not greasy at all. The garlic shrimp is delicious (I am a spice wuss and it has a bit of a bite to it, but I still eat it because it is so good). I've ventured into different dishes with this food because all of their food is so good! They are fast and hot with takeout! I recommend Yang Chow without hesitation, and thank them for giving me variety and a healthier alternative to other takeout or fast food!!!

We ordered a fruit tea, hot and sour soup, Shanghai Pan Fried Noodle, salmon avocado sushi and tuna avocado sushi. All of our dishes were fantastic! THE FOOD: Fruit Tea - The fruit tea was delicious. It was the perfect combination of sour and sweet and I absolutely loved it. Hot and Sour Soup - My husband loved the hot and sour soup. He said it well balanced, tasty and a bit spicy. Shanghai Pan Fried Noodle - My husband ordered this dish with the crispy noodles and he really enjoyed it. It comes with shrimp, beef, chicken and assorted vegetables. He loved the combination of protein and found it sweet and tangy. Salmon Avocado Sushi - I really enjoyed the salmon avocado sushi. I found it really fresh and not too fatty. It melted in my mouth and they had gluten free soya sauce to go with my sushi. Tuna Avocado Sushi - I found the tuna avocado rolls to be really fresh as well. It melted in my mouth and was delicious. I honestly wish this restaurant was in Toronto because it is so good. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely visit again if in the area.

I was excited when a authentic Chinese food place opened in town. I'm a big fan having grown up…read morenear a Chinese section of the city. This place was authentic and knew how to cook properly. When it first opened we loved the food but found the portions a bit on the small side and slightly more expensive than it should be. But still really good. Fast forward a few years and prices still high plus quality of food had dipped. Received a nice gift card for my birthday and found that it just wasn't what it should be in quality especially with the pricing. Disappointed.

Hands down the best Gongbao/ Kungpao chicken the York region!…read more I ordered twice with uber eats and couldn't resist visiting the third time in person. Upon visiting I was a bit disappointed that they don't have dine-in service. Only take-out. But nevertheless, the people at the counter are kind and quick. My order arrived within minutes! Just to keep in mind, visiting the store is a bit cheaper (20%) than Uber eats. So if you're close by, don't forget to get their Gongbao chicken! I'm yet to try other delicacies from this store. Don't mind the store for its looks, it has no dine-in facility, just a few chairs and two tables but the food is yum!

Small town Chinese restaurants aren't the most promising food places, but this place was…read moresurprisingly good. Got "A little bit of everything". It was fantastic value especially for those who like variety, it came with an egg roll, teriyaki beef, wontons, breaded shrimp, chicken chop suey, sweet & sour chicken balls, spare ribs & chicken fried rice. Also added a spring roll. "A little bit of everything" was a lot of food. The rice had a good wok flavour & the chop suey was pretty tasty too. There was quite a bit of chicken in both. The teriyaki beef was so-so. The rest of the items were battered & deep fried (even the spare ribs) & were ok; the sweet & sour sauce was the usual sweet goo. The outside of the egg roll broke & the inside was so-so. For the spring roll I chose pork (there's vegetable too). It was stuffed with 99% minced pork & had a simple soy sauce based flavour. It was pretty good.
