I went to AWC for my first ever Fraxel treatment hoping to minimize the darkness of the spots. Nurse Rebecca (and her awesome staff) administered the treatment with attention to my comfort and words of encouraging support. As the treated areas of my skin underwent the peeling process, I could see immediate results. It's been about a month now and I would estimate the spots are 50% lighter. One more treatment and they will likely disappear entirely. Thank you AWC! It's now on me to put on the darned sunscreen and wear hats.

It shares a space with a dentist office and is on the lower level with the front door on the left lower side of a 60s style split level building. The inside is nicely decorated and freshly painted. There are minimal decorations, which I appreciate because that helps me relax. The bathrooms are more recently renovated. The staff was very nice to me when I arrived and assured me, I would not wait very long. I needed to use the bathroom before my treatment and I was pleased to see several amenities, including tampons for those of us who still bleed. I was brought into my treatment room by the front desk coordinator person who's maybe a manager? She talked to me about what to expect during my treatment and took before photos. My treatment provider Dana was so sweet. She checked in on me and we chatted about life during my 45 minute treatment. The treatment felt like an intense mechanical massage but at no point did it hurt. It was almost tickly sometimes. I needed to pee again immediately after my treatment. Endermologie gets the lymphatic system moving, and I was shedding a ton of water immediately. This morning I woke up and weighed myself, and I had lost 5 pounds of water weight! I will definitely return to the spa for the same treatment, and maybe some others that they offer. This would be a great treatment for somebody before a big event when they are looking to shed some extra water weight. Like perhaps a wedding or other event where there will be lots of photos and videos.

She didn't check every place and seemed to take great stock in the fact that I had a mole exam within the last 3 years. The entire thing took 4 minutes. I asked about further procedures and pricing... of course, she has no idea. However, I recently had several rude dermatologists and this doctor was perfectly polite. It also showed up on my mass general patent gateway which is helpful for records and billing.

Only after paying was I told they would inject half a syringe into my smile lines and discard the rest, even though I paid a significant amount for it. Overall, the experience felt rushed, sales-driven, and not transparent. I ended up walking out without getting the treatment at all. I would not recommend this place at all.
