They have a very large selection of buffet items, hot and cold, ranging from enchiladas to pizza to lots of seafood, chicken and beef choices. There are lots of veggies, noodles, and choices of Asian and Chinese delights as well. There is a large variety of dessert temptations too. What got me turned off was one patron getting ice cream who had bloody bandaid on his elbow, let it fell into the ice cream and the guy just left it there for the next customer to be disgusted! Ugh! The servers are friendly and are attentive to your beverage and plate needs. The food is actually quite decent but can occasionally be a hit or miss. The food includes salmon, beef brisket, lo mein, even a create your own lo mein, steak cooked to order (though I find the steak flavorless due to not much seasoning) sushi, and so much more. Most of the food is packed with flavor. However, the major downside I've experienced is sometimes the food isn't fresh. The salmon can be dry and chewy, food can be slightly cold, etc. In turn, it may be of your best interest to come in as soon as the lunch/dinner rush starts to pick up. The food is consistently the same items on both of my visits. It's a buffet ‍ the price is extremely fair for what you get. There's a lot going on here, from mango jello (strangely good) to pizza to baby squid. When it's busy it can best be described as Thunderdome. Get out of the way of the carts coming to refill the food and plates! Everyone who works here is friendly, fast and taking care of business FAST. It's loud, you could wear AirPods, and no one would really notice past the entrance after you pay. I feel that the wait staff and staff behind the sushi and teppanyaki don't get tipped much but the service was well worth a tip. If you come expecting a super fancy restaurant you might be disappointed, otherwise this is a pretty epic place post Covid. Very full of people on Sunday evenings if crowds aren't for you, however no waiting beyond the quick line to pay at the entrance. Overall the food was pretty decent. I was skeptical after reading prior reviews, but when you have that craving, it has to be satisfied! Anyway went in with some caution and was pleasantly surprised. Huge variety and the fresh made stir fry wok was excellent, with fresh meats and veggies. Seriously, no complaints and I really didn't go to look at the decor. Standard C19 protocol in place, everything was clean and the trays were full. Drink refills were prompt and plenty of seating available. Most definitely will be back on my next trip to town. This place was at one time one of my favorite Chinese buffets. There was so much variety here, the decor in my opinion was beautiful, the Mongolian stir fry was flavorful and unique, and the staff was attentive. Over the past 4 years however, everything began a very steady decline. The variety is still present, however there is nothing new. The same exact food, same exact location. Nothing fresh...ever. This is the same for the quality of food. Everything seems like it's been reheated from frozen. The salmon I once loved is soggy and no longer flavorful, the green beans are both dry/overcooked and moist from sweating in the pan, the tortillas edge on the enchiladas are hard as rocks, and the rice in the rice maker is somehow very very dry. The buffet warmers are sometimes so hot, it continues cooking the food to hell, and heating up the tongs to a dangerous heat. I've burned my hand plenty of times just trying to get some broccoli beef. Their desserts have never impressed me, reminds me of hospital deserts/snacks. The beautiful decor I once loved is falling to pieces. They have such a beautiful space, and the building has never been remodeled or kept up. Almost all the surfaces seem sticky from grease/residue. The lights that are beautifully strung up above the buffet area have needed replacing since 5 years ago, and each time I stop by, another whole section is out - reminding me of those neighbors that have cheap, burnt out Christmas lights strung up for 6 months out of the year. The carpeting has been abused. Many a spill have occurred here...and you can see YEARS of won ton soup, sweet and sour sauce, and God knows what else beaten into the carpet just beneath your feet. The Mongolian stir fry is the only redeeming factor of this establishment. And even then....Sometimes it's a bit of a 50/50 scenario. Most of the time it's very flavorful and the ingredients are of excellent quality. However, the most recent time I ate here, I felt an awful wave of nausea after finishing my plate - and was violently ill in the hour after we left. So if you're willing to take that chance.. go ahead. I can only hope this place gets their shit together soon, it's hard to believe how run down it is when it's always busy, and it's $30 for 2 people...with water. Hong Kong Buffet it used to be amazing but new owners took over and the place became devastating from the moment you walk the environment it's so clogged because they are so cheap and refuse to put AC or open a window at the least during summer , food is all over the place if you ask for water instead of soda is from the faucet . Crowded always waiter are kind of nice , the floors and restrooms are disgusting , tables are sticky prices are ok .
