That late evening my right eye started to become very sore, red, itchy. I texted the business and they said sometimes people are sensitive/and or allergic to the glue adhesive and to try a cold compress and try some allergy medicine. I tried both and my one right eye continued to decline and get worse! My eye began to swell significantly more in just an hour, so I decided to go to an Urgent Care the next morning. The doctor said I had pink eye and gave me eye drops to use. I texted the business to let them know of the situation and that I got pink eye from unsanitary conditions. The business re-assured me that they sanitize their tools and have disposable ones and that they are required to wash hands before each client and that the technicians don't touch the eye, even though she touched around and on my eyelid throughout the appointment. All I wanted was a refund for the headache that I went through and the dissatisfaction for the service that costs a lot of money. They said in order to get a refund that I needed to go there and have them taken off. I told them that I didn't want to take the lashes off because my eye isn't infected from the lashes or the glue, it was from poor sanitation. I also didn't have time to go somewhere else to get them done again before I leave out of town, nor would anyone touch my eyes knowing I have pink eye. I was beyond frustrated at this point and eventually after several texts going back and forth, I got my refund. I will not recommend anyone to this business. Anyone in their right mind would give the money back because it was on their part that this happened and to still insist on the glue causing my pink eye.

During the appointment, multiple additional services and skincare were added. While I agreed in the moment, I came in for something simple and left with far more than I originally intended. The service itself did not meet basic expectations. The Brazilian wax was not fully completed at the time of the appointment. There was a significant amount of hair left behind that was clearly not regrowth. This was noticeable immediately after the service. I was also given a large amount of verbal aftercare information and told it would be sent via text because it was too much to remember. That follow-up never happened. Clients should not have to chase down aftercare that was explicitly stated would be provided. I was then told we would meet the following day so I could receive aftercare products. That meeting did not happen, and there was no communication to cancel or reschedule. This was the first opportunity to address concerns, and it was missed entirely. When I later reached out after returning from a trip, I was told I would be scheduled, but there was again no follow-through. At that point, the pattern of communication issues was clear. When I finally addressed the situation and requested a partial refund, the response was dismissive and defensive, with no accountability taken for the missed follow-through, incomplete service, or lack of communication. At no point was there a meaningful attempt to resolve the issue. This was not a one-time miscommunication--it was a pattern: * Incomplete service * Promised aftercare not provided * Missed follow-up with no communication * Lack of response when attempting to resolve Based on my experience, I did not feel I was working with a reliable or professional service provider. I gave multiple opportunities to address this privately before leaving a review. I would strongly encourage anyone considering booking to be very clear about expectations upfront and to proceed with caution when additional services are suggested during the appointment.
