My favorite items I have bought have been the sourdough bread, coarse salt, cane sugar, holiday lip balm, olive oil, concentrated white vinegar, and elderberry jam. The owner is a gem. She has expansive knowledge of the products she offers and is open for suggestions on what products to add to the stock. She also has great suggestions on other sustainable products/brands not available in her store. She keeps the area so clean and is willing to help you out if you have any questions. I am so glad this community has a store like this that is focused on ethical consumption. Will be going back when I need a refill!

Petting zoos are a hit or miss for me. I came here in August and it was a scorcher out…read more We came here around 6 pm during the week. (They do close at 7 pm. So I like they stay open late) They have parking up close You have to check into the little market store first. They also have animal feed you can buy for the petting zoo There's a bunch of chickens (and a goat) that will follow you around lol. Right now they do have a baby horse and a baby cow. Which were absolutely adorable (their donkey is extremely vocal lol and ran up to greet us while making tons of noise to make sure we gave him a bunch of attention) The thing that makes me picky about petting zoos, is if the animals look well taken care of and happy. While we were on the trail taking photos and petting the animals we noticed a bunch of workers out checking on the animals and cleaning their enclosures. The animals were extremely friendly, especially the little donkey and the most precious baby horse. The baby stuck by its mom and they both let us pet them All of the horses were happy and friendly Goats were happy and clean Chickens would come right up to you and etc. it wasn't like some others I've been to and have seen signs of neglect It did not even have that petting zoo smell which is unheard of (they have a big handwashing station as well at the end of the petting zoo) When we went and checked in we spoke to the nice lady behind the register and then when we were finished I came back and got a drink and some homemade cookies. They also specialize in mushroom supplements for all your health needs. They sell eggs and other stuff like local honey The lady asked us how we liked the baby horse and made other small talk. I enjoy finding everything from fresh produce to handmade items at the artisan booths, which makes each visit feel unique. The market is always organized well, so it is easy and relaxing to walk around and explore. I also love seeing all the happy dogs out with their owners. I did not take any photos this time, but I will definitely grab some next time I visit.
