I had the pleasure of stumbling into the Spice Rack in Yukon. I was out with the family running an errand when we happened upon this shop. Oddly enough I was just mentioning to the Hubby I was out of some spices earlier in the day. The store is well laid out and has islands of spices, rubs, sugars, salts and more dotting the shop. The smells are inviting, intoxicating, and inspiring. We ended up with a steak rub, it may have been called the Steakhouse rub and is reminiscent of the steaks you find in steakhouses; another seasoning for Pork, with mustard and a kick, which works well on chicken too. I also found sea salt and Toasted Marshmallow Sugar. I'm very excited to try this specialty sugar on Creme Brulee. The owner, Parker, also makes her own bath products. A fellow sensitive skin sufferer, her soaps are beautiful and smell nice. Love this place and can't wait to find more spices and seasonings to try out. read more

One of my favorite stores in Oklahoma City. Destiny is absolutely amazing - so friendly and sweet and she goes out of her way for her customers. I've loved everything I have bought and I keep half my extended family stocked on spices - they can't get enough of Oklahoma Pepper. Destiny also does amazing gift baskets of all sizes. I love the spices and seasonings but don't pay in advance for anything. I was told three different times that my pepper jelly would be delivered and three times it was not. I went to her shop and was told the lady that makes the jelly had covid and that my money would be refunded and she would get my jelly to me. I'm still waiting for my money to be refunded and still waiting for my pepper jelly. I have texted and messaged the owner and have had no response from her. read more

Spice Rack's a great place for freshly ground spices and mixes, and an easy recommendation for gifts to give friends and family. If you're having a hard time finding a specific type of spice in regular supermarkets, The Spice Rack is bound to have it. We were looking for spice mixes to gift to family and the owner/manager there was really helpful in figuring out what we were looking for. I'm not super up-to-date with spice pricing so I can't vouch for whether or not you're getting a great deal compared to other organic spice places, but we walked out with multiple bags' worth of Kickin Chicken and Applewood Chipotle rub for less than we were expecting. We ordered several spices online and I sent my daughter to pick them up. We ordered 4 items and only 2 were ready. The lady at the shop told her she would bring the spices to our house in the morning because she didn't want her to have to drive back to Yukon. She did not deliver. Additionally, my daughter called and left a voicemail and sent a text message with no response. The loss is $10 which isn't a lot but I think it's important that other people don't make the same mistake. Not an honest business. read more

This is a great place to go and buy seasons, spices, olive oils, balsamic vinegars, honey, teas, and coffees. The owner Destiny is awesome! She can explain and help navigate you to what you would be interested in. I purchase a delicious garlic balsamic which I have been using daily with . I also purchased cranberry pear balsamic which is just as delicious as garlic one. I mixed my own ranch seasoning and jalapeño pepper seasoning. Destiny had bottles and baggies in store for packing and take home. Everything in the store is fresh and organic. The is locally collected in the area, which is good for allergies. It taste great and had a much better quality than the regular commercial stores. There are delicious jams there too! I bought a rosemary blackberry jam. I also got salted caramel sugar. This store is one awesome place to get quality items to enhance the flavors of food. Destiny is willing to teach and answer questions about seasoning. Everyone must go and visit! read more

I have several family members who live in the area that buy from The Spice Rack and recommended this store. I finally decided to head in during one of my visits (on Black Friday) from out of state. There were a ton of great spices...I loved that salt was not one of the first ingredients that I normally see in my regular store bought spices. The owner realized that we were in from out of state and that we would have to bring our spices back on the plane with us and offered to ship them to us. Of course we accepted and were excited to try our new spices. She said that she would send them out right away. After over a month of no spices, we called and she said that the order was "returned to her store" and that she would resend them to us...they never came. I sent in family members who live near by and she said that the spices were on the way...and of course they never came. EVENTUALLY we got a package in the mail...with part of our order (we were missing 7 bottles.) Now, here we are almost 3 months later and they will not answer our calls or respond to our messages. Unless you live near by and are able to take your order when you pay for them...do NOT purchase from the Spice Rack...or else you will be throwing your money down the drain!!! read more

The Spice Rack is my go to place for seasonings and teas in the metro. The store has multiple seasoning types, from basic to speciality. I like the seasonings because they do not have the awful preservatives sold in chain stores. You would expect to pay much more for such a great product. I find the prices are comparable to the big box stores. They are incredibly flavorful. The olive oil section has a variety of blends. The store also sells loose leaf teas including traditional flavors and hard to find decaf. Local honey is also sold. The owner was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable about all the products. read more

This little spice store is great! The owner is very knowledgeable, grinds all her spices fresh from the best quality ingredients, and the prices are outstanding. She'll even grind a custom blend for you. Her infused oils are top shelf as well. If you live on the west side of OKC, this should be on your list of shop stops. read more
