Their location on Penn is one of my absolute favorite places for Thai food, so since I've moved, I was excited to see that there is a Panang in Yukon! Upon arriving, I was impressed with how large and clean this location was. There was a whole separate area for to-go orders! We walked in and were sat in a booth immediately. The vibes were exact to the one on Penn. Our server and overall service was quick. The food was fresh and amazing as always; the portions were huge-- we had so much leftover to take home. I wasn't sure if Khao Soi was on the menu at the other location because I've never seen it, but I tried it for the first time here, and it was so good. It's one of my favorite Thai dishes so I loved being able to get it from one of my fave Thai places. My other go-to orders are the Angel Wings, Cheese Wontons, Spicy Catfish, and Shrimp Fried Rice. I met a friend here for lunch on a Monday at 11:30 am. We were both on our work lunch break and managed to get in and out in a hour without any problems. I have been to two other Panang locations in the metro area, but it had been a while, so I decided to order my yardstick for Thai restaurants: green curry. This time I got it with pork. I ordered spice level 3 out of 5. Everything about this dish was delicious. The spice level was just right for me -- enough to make my mouth burn but not enough to obliterate the flavors and textures of the curry. A few bites of the sticky white rice was enough to quench the flames in my mouth. There was also an unexpectedly large amount of pork in the curry. I was pleased to see that since sometimes Thai curry is heavy on vegetables and light on protein. The curry also came with an unexpected spring roll and a sweet and sour dipping sauce. The spring roll was nothing special -- not much taste beyond fried and the dipping sauce suffered from the same viscosity problems as most spring roll dipping sauces that I have eaten in the past. The stir fries also got my attention. I will save the eggplant stir fry for a future visit. read more

Only $13, in this picture is Pad Thai, Masamun chicken and potato curry, and chicken stir fry, there was also a fried spring roll and tamarind dipping sauce. Curry is different in the respec I am used to having mushroom instead of potato in the curry but have to admit the potato is probably better with a chunk of sweet potato with the regular white probably Idaho. Very yummy place! Fun for date night. Plenty of parking. We were greeted & seated immediately on a Friday evening. Menus were trifold with lots of options. We both ordered the pad Thai, one with pork the other with beef. We started with their chef special cheese wontons. How yummy! They came out crispy with a cream cheese - like filling. Sauce was runny and flavorful. Pad Thai arrived on a very full plate. We should have ordered some spice on it but the menus didn't communicate how; or at least we missed it. Pad Thai was not spicy at all, actually like sweet. I'll order a spicy level 2 or 3 next time. Beef was a little chewy and so was the pork so next time I'll try the tofu. Overall we left happy & so very full. Waitstaff was patience & respectful, always filling our waters. Can't wait to come back! I'll bring my own container for a to go box next time, since they use styrofoam, haha. read more

So I ordered this from grubhub. I'm not very familiar with Thai, but I've eaten plenty of Vietnamese and Chinese, and Japanese for that matter all over the country. I kind of figured it was the same thing, but unless they forgot something, I guess I can charge it to my ignorance. My total order was about 31 dollars or so. I ordered a bowl of some sort of yum soup with shrimp, and a spring roll appetizer. The spring rolls were okay, I mean pretty good I suppose. A tiny bit different than vietnamese, but they were still good. The peanut sauce was sort of weird but equally as good. Now the soup. The soup itself was 21 bucks. And I'm not a cheapskate, I don't complain about prices, I have no problem dropping $1,000 at a Michelin star type restaurant or steakhouse. So don't make this out like I'm some sort of Penny pincher. I took a picture of my bowl of soup. The size of this container is typically what I get when I eat phò, and want to take home some broth. $21 for this? And that's not the bad part. I doubt that they forgot, but there are no noodles in pad Thai soup apparently. Good thing I'm not big on carbs, but I kind of wanted something big enough to be able to eat tomorrow and enough to go around, but what I got was this container of broth, with a few mushrooms and tomatoes, and actually a good amount of shrimp. But, seriously, for $21 there's not even any noodles? If you happen to be a pad thai professional, then again, you can charge it to my lack of knowledge. But when I sit back and think I just spent almost $40 for the food that I got, just doesn't compute. I could have went into Fazoli's, and if I spent 40 bucks there, my little fridge would have been stuffed with leftovers for the next 3 or 4 days. Not impressed at all. I will say however, the soup base was really flavorful. And like I said the spring rolls were so so. But I know definitely, next time I come to okc, I won't be ordering from here ever again. My go to Asian food place when I stay in Yukon/Mustang/West OKC. There lunch combos are an amazing value at $15. You get a choice of two entree samples, a spring roll and choice of rice or Pad Thai. I always choose the Pad Thai and the serving side odds s as much as you get when you order just the Pad Thai at other restaurants. I've tried 3 different curries. Green curry odd my preference. But I've definitely had better but still, I enjoyed it. What gets this place 5 stars is their curry dish - Evil Jungle Chicken Curry - first of all - love the name - they are daring you to order it!
