It's about the only place where I can find tea stuff not online. The staff is nice too.

I love that you grab a tray and tongs and can load up what you want. It's a bit pricey, but that's expected for good pastries in the U.S. These rival any European pastry I've had. My iced tiramisu latte was incredible also. Staff were quick and friendly. And it's bright and spacious inside with lots of seating. I'll definitely be back to try more.

Let me start by saying there's a bakery in Dallas I love to go to and wish it was here…read more When I went into this place I didn't expect to see a mini version of my favorite Dallas bakery! Baked items and snacks everywhere you look. We went around closing time but managed to snag some really good stuff. The staff seemed nice and the guy who checked us out was really friendly. The girl counting items wasn't super friendly and didn't say anything to us when we walked in. So first things I saw was a matcha brownie with an Oreo in the middle of it! A what?! So I don't really like brownies, but I love matcha, so I had to get it. My boyfriend got one too. Then I saw a beautiful green tea cloud cake waiting for me to buy it and try it! Funny enough, I tried to find a matcha cake for my birthday when I was in Dallas. Surprisingly I couldn't find any place with a matcha cake. Who knew little Oklahoma would have my cake. We bought our goods now the hard choice: do we eat in the car or wait to drive home? Hm we ate it in the car of course. The cloud cake was so magical and airy. The matcha was prominent and not overpowering. Same with the brownie. It was a soft brownie and the chocolate worked great with the rich matcha flavor. I'd get both of those again. Price for two brownies and slice of cake was about $15

I ordered a grilled chai tea latte and a cookie, which sounded simple but felt thoughtfully done. The chai had a deep, spiced aroma the moment it hit the table. It wasn't overly sweet, and the warmth of the spices came through clearly with each sip. There was a smooth, velvety texture that made it especially comforting. The cookie was fresh and slightly crisp around the edges with a soft center. It tasted homemade rather than mass-produced, with just the right balance of sweetness to pair with the drink without overwhelming it. The café itself has a welcoming, lived-in charm. Plenty of natural light, a steady hum of conversation, and people either catching up with friends or working on laptops. The baristas were attentive and genuinely friendly, creating an easygoing atmosphere that made it hard to leave. Classen Coffee Company feels like one of those dependable neighborhood spots you keep coming back to -- not flashy, just consistently good and inviting.

Staff were quick with orders even with a steady flow of being busy. The parking lot was full on a Thursday at 9:30am. I tried a chai tea latte ordered right off menu, but I regretted not making some alterations. I should have asked for a different milk and way less sweetness. It was delicious but way too sweet. I'll be back!

Over the last couple of weeks there has been an obvious shift. Our recent visit on 4/29 was disappointing. First, my order was wrong. I ordered a sausage egg and cheese wrap and a coffee & was given a bacon egg and cheese wrap. Before my friend group arrived, I was having a conversation with some gentlemen who are also regulars. The music was so loud I couldn't hear them from an arms length apart. He mentioned he had already requested for the music to be slightly adjusted, and they refused to turn it down. We sat for a little bit longer and it was impossible to converse, so I went to the front and also requested for the music to be slightly turned down. I felt like I had to yell just for the server to hear me. The barista barely made eye contact, kind of rolled his eyes, and nodded his head. No one ever turned down the music. Don't get me wrong, I love having some background music, but it was absurd that we couldn't even hold a normal conversation. Also, it was about 7:00AM. It's not like they were preparing to shut down the store. I just felt it was incredibly rude and it's disappointing that what used to be our go-to place is now somewhere we are considering to go elsewhere due to the mere disrespect, overall environment and poor customer service.
