The food court at Somerset doesn't open until 12p on Sunday but Honey Tree is open earlier! So it was nice to come in and have them open! Mediterranean food served here and I had the Greek Salad with grilled Chicken! It was great! read more

Good chicken lemon rice soup but don't bother with the salads. I got a small Greek. The size was fine but the toppings where hilarious. Exactly one slice of beet, one slice of tomato, one olive, a couple tablespoons of feta and that weird Italian/greek hybrid dressing (bland as hell). For $8, I didn't expect much but beets/tomatoes/olives must be at a premium if they could only plop one of each in there. I'll pass next time. read more

Fast and easy! I love going here for something easy and delicious during and after work. The staff is nice and friendly. It's located in the food court, so it's easy to spot. During the week, it's less crowded, but on the weekend, it's packed, and the food court is crowded. It can get loud there, so be aware if you don't like crowded areas. If you love fast service and good food, you'll like Honey Tree read more

This is a food court version of a larger restaurant from what I understand. I love the food options and the ingredients seem fresh. This is the second time I've eaten here and I remembered how much I enjoyed it the first time which is why we came here this time. I ordered the hummus wrap with fresh veggies and that came with homemade potato chips. My son ordered a cheeseburger with french fries. The total including one drink and one bottle of water was about $21 and the food was really tasty. read more

An Okay restaurant, fast-foodish? but more on the healthy/better side. They have a big variety of items, ranging from typical Greek/Mediterranean to your typical burger and pub food items. I had the veggie burger, which is a very tough test for any restaurant to master, and it was not bad at all! It was alright, along with fries and onion rings.. I also had the lemon rice soup, and it was pretty delicious.. I will go back again and try their gyros which looked very delicious.. read more

Located in Somerset, very fast and friendly service. Chicken fingers and fries very good. I had the chicken fajita gyro, really good. Vegetables were a bit over cooked though. My partner had the chicken gyro - he said it was excellent. Fries were delicious! That's all we had this time. Pictures attached. Overall, feels like a very good and healthy lunch. read more

Burger was bad and it made my tummy hurt. It was so bad I almost threw up. The service was good tho. The ambiance was bad too.

As sure as the Holiday Season is coming.. and trips to Somerset Mall are absolutely inevitable.. I know I'll be found at Honey Tree several times in the upcoming weeks. Their simple grilled chicken kabob, served with hot sauce, is my favorite food court grub ever! It's so tender and juicy- and perfectly, most subtly seasoned.. It's just perfect! And completely complied with my wedding-prep Dukan Diet for over the past year! Led by the guidance of a fancy, Hermes bag toting "Lady who Lunches"- I was turned on to their incredible cucumber salad! This salad is SO fierce.. SO fresh.. it nearly brought tears to my eyes. It's bathed in this bright, creamy yogurt sauce- with fresh dill and garlic (Note: I have always hated dill! This salad has changed that!) I highly recommend getting a side of it with your chicken kabob! See you soon, Honey Tree! read more

Honey Tree - the interior of a fast food restaurant - Greek Near Me - Troy, Michigan

I came here for lunch one day and let all Of the workers know that I couldn't eat anything with dairy or soy because my breastfed baby had a dairy/soy allergy. They had zero dressing options for me so I voided my salad Order. That, alone, was a turn off because it's 2019! Come on, people! So many people have allergies and dairy/soy are two of the most common! and just got some chicken and rice instead. After I started eating I realized that I should probably ask if their chicken marinade contains soy. One worker said no but he seemed unsure. I asked another and he said that it does contain soybean oil. I was livid. I had expressed to them initially that I can't have soy and they still served me food with soy. Ask me if they even cared? Ask me if they even offered to give me my money back for the meal I bought and couldn't eat? The answer is NO. These are the type of people who I hate giving business to. People who don't care about their customers and are only in it for the profit. Skip this spot and go support some caring business owners at the other restaurants in the food court. read more

If you're at Somerset and want the fast food/ food court experience without the fast food/ food court taste and after effects, this is your best bet! They have delicious options that taste as good as some of the sit down Mediterranean restaurants nearby! My personal recommendations are the spinach pie, grape leaves and tabbouli. Steer clear of deep fried anything and you will feel well enough to keep shopping for hours! read more

This review is going to make me sound cheap, but so be it. I went to the mall with a coworker today for lunch, and was craving Chinese (and the food court has a Chinese place too, called China Town) but decided to be healthy. I had been drooling over the shwarma on Honey Tree's main site menu, but the mall food court location didn't have it. I decided to get the gyro plate, for $8.99, which is already kind of expensive for mall food, IMO. I got a pretty big serving of chicken, with onions and tomatoes, and rice with tomato sauce on it. When I went to check out, however, the guy threw on a side order of pita - which is fine, I like pita - but then I saw him add 60 cents for it on to my bill. It's like, really? You should have at least asked me if I wanted that, if you're going to charge me for it. So my total bill with taxes was like $10.22, which OVERALL is not bad for a lunch, but for mall food - albeit good mall food - is high. There's a Greek place called Muses down the street (Big Beaver + John R, I believe) that does $7.99 or $8.99 lunch specials, too - next time I'll just go there. The reason HT gets 3 stars and not 2 is that the food was pretty good, though. It came with some dipping sauce that I was hoping was garlic, but it was a yogurt-type thing, and you get a good sized portion of chicken, as well as rice. I would *maybe* go back and try the actual chicken gyro (includes bread, whereas my plate did not) at some point, but I may as well spend like $7-8 instead at China Town and forget the whole "being healthy" thing instead :) we'll see. read more

They deserve zero stars, ordered a Michigan salad yesterday and this morning I was so sick, I knew something was wrong when I started eating, either the salad dressing or bleu cheese was spoiled or at a dangerous level of being spoiled....I would never eat at the place, if they're serving spoiled food the health department needs to shut them down. read more

A great option for a quick meal at the mall. The staff were friendly and they made the fresh food promptly. I had the strawberry chicken salad which was significantly better than I expected it to be. I involuntarily made a 'yum' sound when I took my first bite. They also have enough variety that your picky kid can find something too. I'm glad this place is at the Somerset! read more

My favorite food court spot. I love the people that work there, they are so nice and so friendly.. maybe that's just towards me because I go there so often. Anyways..... Honey Tree has my favorite Greek salad with Chicken. Its huge! I can usually make 2 meals out of it. Tons of chicken that its cooked to perfection and they always customize the way I want! I love their pita as well-- so warm and fluffy! Their gyros and chicken fingers are delicious as well--- I've never gone wrong with this place! Fast service and attentive staff coupled with delicious food equals a perfect combination! read more

Good-tasting gyros and spanakopita from a mall food court! I've walked by Honey Tree numerous times over the last few years, only to never try their food. One day, Husband and I were talking about KouZina's gyro sandwich and how it sounded sooo good (but we were tied up at the mall so we couldn't get to KouZina). Right as we talked about it, we passed Honey Tree. Little did we know that this place serves up many Greek favorites! Golden! We both each ordered a gyro ($6.25), and most recently, tried their spanakopita ($6) because it was out in plain view and looking mighty delicious. They have a gyro supreme that is $.50 more, but the only difference between that and the regular one is the addition of lettuce and parsley. The regular one comes with raw onions and slices of tomatoes, yummy. The pita bread is good, but not freshly made, but packaged stuff. Compared to KouZina, the size is equivalent to their large. I much prefer KouZina's pita (who doesn't love freshly baked bread?), but it's still good. What Honey Tree does to compensate for their lack of fresh made pita is the sheer volume of meat. Those guys do not skimp on the meat, and it is seasoned very well. Husband who loves his meat was happy with the amount, and couldn't even close the pita without the meat falling out! I liked that the sauce wasn't too heavy and it wasn't overdressed. Spanakopita was a 6"x4"x6" cube, enough to feed 2 people as a side. It wasn't overly cheesy, so we were happy, and the phyllo dough was thin and crispy. Worth getting, but if you're looking to stay under $15 for 2, this'll put you over it. Nice to be able to have another option to eat at while visiting the Somerset Mall. The guys are nice, and comical, but a little disorganized. The work stations could use a good scrubbing and could be maintained better, but overall, we would definitely recommend coming here if you're not in the mood for Jewish deli delights over at Stage Deli. read more

This is my first pick when I want to grab lunch from the Peacock Cafe at Somerset. The chicken dishes are the best to choose from. I don't know how they do it, but they remain consistent about grilling some awesome chicken. It's always tender and juicy with a strong garlic flavor. You will not be disappointed If you order any of the chicken options from their menu. I have ordered the chicken quesadilla, Greek salad, chicken over rice with veggies, and I can't complain. The menu offers a good selection of sandwiches, soups and salads. The only item from the menu I will warn you against is their hot dog! One time I ordered a hot dog and it was bland and rubbery, and I was pretty disappointed with it. Their hummus and tabbouleh salad are decent but both tend to be prepared on the sour side. Their pita is thick and warm. I also think you get the best bang for your buck here. You will get a lot of food and the price is fair compared to the rest of the over priced lunch choices you will find in the food court. read more

Excellent gyros. It is a mall spot, but it is higher in price than it ought to be. The food is good, though. Loved the chicken kabobs. My heart beats a little faster just thinking about the taste. For a food court Greek food, it is good, but the price is a Debbie Downer. I would go to the mall just for this if it was less expensive. I will never try anything else in the mall now though. The employees are always a delight. The food is finger licking good, read more

This is some of the best mall food I have ever had. I enjoyed the veggie gyro with fries. What made the gyro so good was the use of eggplant, among other vegetables. It was genius. The pita was perfectly warmed, and the fries were abundant. This is exactly what I would have expected from a more-expensive mall such as The Somerset Collection - in a good way. read more

surprisingly delicious for mall food! always stop in here when at sommerset mall. a little more expensive than the other mall food, but damn worth it! my favorite entree is the chicken kabobs over rice with the delicious tomato sauce (although the vegetables that come with are super super bland). thumbs up all together though! read more
