I'm a huge fan of Honey Dew. I feel like it's the lesser known sibling of Dunkin. It was founded in 1973 in Massachusetts with approximately 125 locations. They serve coffee, tea, sandwiches, donuts, bagels, muffins, and pastries. This particular one is a good size. There were plenty of tables and seats. The service was good and quick. My favorite thing to order is the Willow Tree chicken salad with cheese on a croissant. We also had donuts and coffee; all were good. There is a drive through, restroom, and the location was clean. I visited this Honey Dew about a half hour ago and I am so baffled by the way I was treated that I needed to share. I know everyone has a bad day but there's 0 excuse for being rude, especially when working in a customer facing role. We have three kids, a 2.5 year old and two 1.5 twins - drive thru is our choice 100% of the time for convenience and safety. My order was: two medium iced coffees, 3 egg and cheese wraps, 2 bagel sandwiches and an order of hash brown bites. No issues at the speaker when I ordered. When I got to the window, my wait was under 5 minutes - I was handed my coffees, still no issue. A girl came to the window with my food, aggressively rolling down the tops of my bags and barked at me, "the next time you're going to order this much food you need to come inside". I replied, "I have three young kids in my car"... to which she repeated that I needed to come inside next time. I told her I didn't mind waiting a few minutes, I get it. Then she said "the people behind you do though". At this point I was getting mad and said "I'm a customer too and like I said I have 3 kids in my car under 3 years old". America may claim to run on Dunkin, but I'm a convert. I run on Honey Dew. Never went to Honey Dew until I moved to Warwick, where one is conveniently located on my commute to work. Never too busy, but always full of cars, which is the sign of an efficient coffee shop. There's much to like about this location, and much to like about this brand. They have a very admirable rewards program that doesn't force you to add money directly to an app, but rather you just scan a QR code while making your purchase. It's refreshing to not have to link a card just to be rewarded (like their Orange & Purple competitors). It also only takes 80 points to be rewarded, which is a reasonable benchmark. The parking lot, drive-thru, and interior are all very bright and clean. Any time of day, the staff is particularly positive and chipper, and are quick to clean up spills or just clean tables. For as busy as this place seems, this Honey Dew is a well oiled machine. Now on to product. Again, I compare their product to Dunkin simply because Honey Dew is superior to it. On rides to work, I will frequent their decaf coffee (as I don't like caffeine, but like the taste) and their breakfast sandwiches. The iced coffee is very smooth, with very low acidity, while retaining a robust coffee flavor. Even when paired with the sweet syrup (caramel being my go to), the coffee flavor shines. It doesn't taste watered down at all, which often occurs with decaf coffees. It also tastes very fresh at any time of day, making it clear that they are constantly making new product and not just letting it sit in the pot. Their breakfast sandwich menu is very impressive due to it's variety and ability to customize. You can choose from a plethora of options from bagels to french toast, and pair it with an equally large list of proteins and cheeses. My go to is a Bacon, Egg and Cheddar on a Bagel. This bagel is preferable to the large, dense bagels served at Dunkin; the bite on this sandwich doesn't feel like 80% bread. The bacon also has a very pleasant taste. While bacon can be salty, this bacon is a lot more mellow, especially when paired with the cheddar. There's really nothing to not love about Honey Dew, and it's crazy how long it took me to try it. Honey Dew is a bargain in the coffee shop world, and has proven to be the superior brand the deserves more attention. read more

I do the dew I like Honey Dew Donuts, they are a welcome change from DD. Good coffee and a nice assortment of donut like treats. This particular Honey Dew is especially nice because the employees are very competent and quick. They have never screwed up my order and on occasion even smile. The store is usually clean and the even though it is frequently crowded, the lines move quickly. They even have clean bathrooms. Can't ask for much more from a donut place. read more

Quintessential coffee shop with an efficient drive thru. The real standout here is the service . The ladies behind the counter are always friendly and willing to accommodate your request for your coffee no matter how you like it. My personal favorite is the iced mocha made with skim milk , a flavor shot of almond, the mocha syrup on the bottom not shaken ( so I can suck up the pure chocolate goodness through my straw). The skim milk is my weak attempt to make it a low caloric drink... Which clearly it is not. But tasty? It is! I'm not especially fond of their donuts but I do love their cinnamon sticks and their bagels are actually not that bad. They're hot coffee is usually very very fresh... Is how is it possible for a donut coffee shop to have such bad service. Yesterday no one in line ahead of me at the drive up. I. I ordered a coffee and donut and pulled right up to pay. The server got the donut then came back and said she forgot how I wanted the coffee. I told her just milk. She went and made the coffee. Brought it back to the window put it down she turned around and then put put grounds in to make another pot since my cup was one of the last. When she came back I thought I was going to get my coffee and donut.. No, she decided to make an iced coffee for the next order order. A great donut shop on Warwick Ave. This Honey Dew is extremely clean, has a great staff, and their coffee is very good. Every day from 4:00 to 8:00 they offer a medium cup of coffee for .99 and they always offer any size of unsweetened black iced tea for .99. They are right across from St. Timothy's Church on Warwick Ave. In Warwick. There are quite a few other coffee shops in the area but in my opinion is this is the best! Kudos to this location! I was in the store today looking for coconut covered donuts. They only had coconut sticks but the young man behind the counter quickly offered to custom make six donuts for me! I explained I needed them for a dessert recipe and he was more than happy to do it.
