I also got the banana brûlée matcha. It was good, but the matcha itself didn't taste ceremonial grade. It had a slightly chalky texture that took away from it a bit. One downside was the wait. I stood in line for about 30 minutes, which was longer than expected. Overall, the food hits, especially if you're craving something savory and indulgent, but the wait and the drink quality keep it from being a higher rating for me. I'd still come back, just maybe at a less busy time, so not the weekends at all!

The lady making the waffle was so kind and outgoing. She made me feel loved and appreciated even over just a few minutes of interacting. We chatted while she took my order and then I was told to come back in 10-12 minutes. This is longer than I've waited at Press Waffles (Plano location, which we also have in Waco), but I think you may get more waffle. I also love supporting local so this wasn't a big deal for me. I noticed that the strawberries she used were organic, so I believe she uses only the best/freshest ingredients. Baylor students get $1 off discount.
