Tired of pub food, my wife and I wanted something different and found this place close by our hotel not far off Grafton Street. On a Friday night a little after six, we found the place almost empty but it quickly started filling up after we were seated and had ordered. Their pizzas are the perfect size for one. My wife ordered a four seasons pizza with something different in each "corner" while I got the spicy pepperoni. They have Peroni in a bottle available so we stuck with our Italian theme for the evening. Our pies were out in no time with a crispy edge and lots of toppings. I found the bottom crust too thin and wimpy for my liking but otherwise enjoyed my meal. Our server was friendly and talkative albeit with a thick accent. Or maybe he thought we had a heavy accent. My first time in Honest pizza. It was very busy for a Friday evening, but it's December so a busy month. There were 4 of us in our group, we ordered drinks and pizza's. I ordered one with 4 different types of pizza and extra meat. The pizzas were really tasty, our waitress was friendly and it was a good stone baked pizza. I stumbled across this place recently whilst on a business trip in Dublin and decided to give it a go after browsing their menu displayed outside. And I wasn't disappointed. I ordered the hoisin duck pizza and I have to say, it was one of the best freshly made pizzas I've ever tasted. Lots of duck pieces, hoisin sauce, spring onions and sesame seeds - amazing! I'd had a pretty rough day and in need of cheering up and by cheering up I mean pizza so when I found myself in town at 7 o'clock on a Thursday evening, I hopped on Yelp to see where I could go. Honest Pizza is located above Honest to Goodness on Dame Lane so it's a nice lively spot. The music is loud but it's good and I don't mind eating in a place that feels like a club but your mammy or your babies might not enjoy it. When we arrived, we were told to grab a seat and wait two minutes for a table. It was more like five but that's ok, no big deal. The restaurant was busy and we were seated close to a huge party of about twenty diners. Our table was kinda cramped in the corner, next to the woodfire so I was slightly hot and bothered when the menus arrived. Not the best place for a table really, but perhaps they were short on space due to the large group. Our waiter was a lovely young dude, who explained the specials, brought us water, offered us pepper and chilli oil ad made sure our water jug was topped up throughout our meal. I love good service and Honest Pizza is doing well here. We ordered a Marinara and a Margarita and then went half and half when they arrived. The pizza was rustic looking and had burned edges which are delicious from a woodfire. The Margarita was good, the mozzarella a little sweet but tasty. The Marinara was tasty but Paulie's Pizza still gets my vote here. Sorry Honest Pizza. Just not enough garlic on top, marinara is so simple that the flavour just has to be perfect. This was a good effort but a lot more garlic will see you right. Cheap, cheerful and kind staff. I'll be back. read more

Honest Pizza is honestly pretty good! I checked it out with a large group of my coworkers and from starters to dessert it hit the spot! The upstairs area is pretty cool and has a nice decor. They were playing some funky old-school R&B and that added to the ambiance. The size of the pies is pretty generous so sharing will work if you're not too starved. The garlic bread bites also kick off the meal nicely! For dessert, I highly recommend the banana nutella ring which is incredible with a side of vanilla ice cream. The management is pretty friendly too. They gave each of us a complimentary shot of limoncello and noone can say 'no' to that. It's a great spot for groups. Just head upstairs and they'll waiting on you with great service and a smile! Honestly! read more

I should start by saying that I had my honest pizza delivered to by by Deliveroo. I was really looking forward to trying Honest Pizza as the choice of Pizzas looked amazing. Unfortunately, when the pizza arrived it wasn't properly cooked. It wasn't that it had gone cold during delivery, it was quiet clearly not cooked enough in the first place. Surely ensuring a Pizza is cooked through is basics for a Pizza restaurant and is a tough one to forgive. On the positive side, from what I could tell the ingredients and flavors were good (despite the under cooked soggy base). The other thing that annoyed me about Honest Pizza is that the price on Deliveroo is €1 more than on the restaurant menu. I feel this is a bit cheeky considering I was not using other restaurant services. Pricing is up to restaurant and I understand they have to pay a commission to Deliveroo. But, between this and the fee I paid to Deliveroo it makes for an expensive Pizza in a box. read more

Tasty & delicious pizza's. I did walk past a few times before I actually spotted where it is. Maybe a larger sign, lights I dunno... Also, they could do more with the stairs up. Pictures of pizza's or something... I like to try get a feel or see the personality of a restaurant. Having said that, once your seated. You relax into the seats with the sounds of an actual DJ playing cool relaxed vibes. Great call. Service is really friendly and attentive to detail. The food is good. I mean really good. I got a little lost in the menu. The title of pizza's I didn't connect with, and it took a couple of minutes to find one that I wanted. So so pizza for pretty freaking cheap for Dublin. We paid €10 for a pizza and a glass of wine! Good selection and nice service, just not great quality ingredients (but totally in line with the price). read more

My husband and I were visiting from the states and needed a break from pubs and super rich foods. Thankfully we stumbled upon this place. The pizza was perfect! We love the sauce and the crust was thin and crisp. My favorite thing though was their house gin and tonic. It was so refreshing and tasty that I'm so sad I don't live near by just to be able to drink it often. read more

I'm not a huge fan of pizza so I only go to places where the pizza is really really good and this place is one of the places on my list. I love everything about it from the decor, to the staff to the awesome menu. Everything is tried is great and really full of flavour. My favourite pizza is the fennel sausage. It is amazing and so different to other pizzas. I love the creative use of flavours and toppings. The owners and staff are real foodies and seem to love experimenting and creating really good dishes and flavour combinations. The pizza base is thin and crisps and wood fired. Hi guys! It's Sunday afternoon (3 p.m.) and went to your place to have some pizza. I find the place, there's a big sign above the door with large letters reading "PIZZA". I take a quick look at the menu outside the door and start thinking about an Aubergine Parmesan. I get in and sit down. And to my surprise...you don't serve any pizza!!! I kinda stopped listening after that...you only serve it Monday from whatever, only on Tuesday mornings and other ridiculous specific times. Plus, your Deliveroo app on the website never works. Great relaxed spot in the middle of Dublin. Easy to miss the door as this is on the first floor over Honest to Goodness. Staters were really tasty and the pizzas were excellent. We can recommend the Fennel Sausage and Aubergine Parmagiano. Good friendly service and nice beer. What more could you ask for :) read more

If you don't know where it is you will most likely walk right pass it, and then I feel sorry for you. The looks of the restaurant itself is not very impressive but the pizzas are superb and the staff is very welcoming and helpful. I strongly recomend a visit. read more
