When the work started to clear everything out, we found out we had to much water in that area that would fill overnight and that was without raining. Jesse was back here again talking to us about the plan and explaining everything in details like how it would hurt stability of the building in the future if we do not deal with water issues. He wasn't forcing sale onto us and let us decide what we wanted to do. We ended up going with a lot of work done like filling in with larger rock, building retaining walls, and creating the french drain to let excess water drain into a ditch. Everything turned out to be perfect. They even helped us put in and cap future waste and water pipes. It was a lot more cost than we expected but given how much in touch Jesse keeps with his customers and explains everything and so are his employees too I can't say anything but the good. His guys that do the work are also very knowledgable and can help you answer any questions or anything that comes up. We had a lot of chat with them and they really do put in hard work.

Derek from DK Excavation came out did an outstanding job. The work was done fast, clean, and with great attention to detail. He wasn't the cheapest bid but he came with ideas, a plan, options to get quality dirt for grass growing (some of the best dirt I have ever seen) hydro seeding. Bottom line the results and experience were 100% worth it. One of the stumps turned out to be much larger and more difficult to remove than expected, but Derek was incredibly fair and reasonable in working through it. He didn't take shortcuts, kept me informed the whole time, and made sure everything was done right to admittedly my very particular expectations . The regrading looks great, and the property is back to normal (better and more usable space than before) and the grass came in fast and thick. It's rare these days to find someone who is both skilled and genuinely fair in business, but Derek is exactly that. Dan returned my Yelp request for contractors and provided helpful guidance and no pressure offer to check it out. He was very clear and precise up front about the cost of inspection and then costs for possible repairs, which depended upon what he and the scope discovered. He installed two clean outs, relined the 50+ year old cement sewer line, applied for permit and inspection, and was on site during inspection and promptly filled in the hole. His crew was polite, efficient, and tidy! Dan was helpful and extremely communicative and punctual.
