These guys did such a great job for me before, I called them back to replace my security door with a newer version. Because my door frame was slightly taller than standard, Paul reinforced the threshold to support the new door. I also had them build a storage loft in my garage. Paul did a fantastic job on both projects. He was on time; cleaned up any mess he made and did it all at a reasonable price. I will keep Home Wise Repairs in mind for any future jobs. read more

Paul was quick fixing the problem and even recommended us a tool to fix the problem in the future. Quick and professionally done.

Found Paul on Thumbtack and gave him a call to bid a garage cabinetry and closet door demo job. He came and quoted the job on Mon and provided a very reasonable price, so I decided to give him a shot. He scheduled for Thurs 8am and was punctual, organized and well planned. Him and his worker finished the job in 7 hours and probably would have finished sooner if we didn't run into a small electrical issue which he was able to solve quickly. They did really good work and even threw in a door fix for me. I will use them again in the future for my handyman needs. read more

I am so happy with HomeWise's service. He was great at keeping communication going with me about what I needed to have done. He was on time, worked quickly and there was absolutely no cleanup for me to do after he left my house. If you need the services he provides I would recommend that you give him your business. I think you will be happy that you did. read more

Paul (and Alex, his partner) were flexible with his time, and were very responsive. They also were honest on their assumptions and were willing to negotiate. If there was ever an improvement to be made that would be a more direct communication between a customer, Paul, and Alex. read more

Pavel did an outstanding job from start to finish. Before the project began, the team took the time to consult with me on the best type of paint for my apartment. We discussed all the options, and I received a fair quote based on the square footage. Pavel personally purchased all the paint, brought me the receipt, removed all the outlet covers and air vents, and carefully masked the baseboards, ceilings, and every surface that needed protection. The painting itself was flawless, with exceptional attention to detail. After the work was completed, he explained how long the paint needed to cure and when it would be safe to move the furniture back. He also cleaned everything thoroughly, leaving the apartment spotless. I couldn't be happier with the results. I'll definitely continue working with Pavel and his team on future updates to my apartment, and I will gladly recommend them to all my friends and anyone looking for high-quality painting services. read more

He did an excellent job! Super professional. Knew how to take apart the steering column and put all back together with radio and all. He did a great job on that and the doors to the boat cupboards. It took multiple layers to get it looking brand new. He did the full job for me in eight days. Never asked for a rush fee. Great prices compared to other bids and he knew what he was doing. Highly recommend. I'll try to remember to get more photos. read more

Pavlo did a superb job on my stair railing. He was very responsive and easy to communicate with. He was very considerate and wore booties in the house which I appreciate. He worked very quickly per my request because I didn't want to be without stair railing for too long. Overall project turned out beautifully as the pictures show. He was also very reasonably priced based on quotes I had. Will definitely hire again for future needs. read more

Super satisfied with their service. They committed to my project from start to finish. Communicated with me thru every step and took the time to show me what they encountered and how they would fix. They allowed me to buy my own shower kit thru local home improvement store. Many other contractors tried to steer me towards tile work but that look was not what I wanted. Homewise affirmed they could install the shower kit and they sure did with full confidence. read more

I found Paul through Thumbtack and choosing him for my home repair project was a great decision. I was needing help with replacing some kitchen and bathroom faucets, as well as installing some decorative trim for a new microwave and ensuring everything fit and lined up properly. He provided a quote quickly and was willing to do the jobs I needed for a reasonable price. Unlike others who wanted to come out and see the job first, despite the clear photos that I had uploaded, and some who quoted a higher price first and then tried to get the job by lowering them later when it was clear they weren't competitive. With Paul, it was straightforward and I absolutely appreciated that. He came out promptly and spent the time to get everything done nicely, even going above and beyond to fix some wall damage and paint match the repair. He made sure to do the job well, and even when it took a bit longer to get it done, he honored the pricing that he'd quoted. He's a keeper and will be staying in my contacts for all future home projects I might have. read more

I contacted several contractors through Yelp for a small renovation job, removing a 20 ft long bank of built in desks, dispose all of the builtins, and repair wall and molding behind it. Pavlo replied to me within an hour of my Yelp request, and showed up the following day to give me an estimate, which I received before the other 3 contenders even showed up at the site. His partner Alex followed up promptly with the estimate and scheduling, and Pavlo did the job one week later exactly as requested. He did an excellent job, was courteous, tidy and respectful of my house, working straight through until the job was done. I could not be happier with the results, and will definitely use HomeWise for other renovation project . Thank you! read more

I HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! I first contacted Pavlo through a Yelp project. I needed a handy man who could do what I thought would be a small job in realigning my vinyl gate. He was quick to respond and provided me a fair quote based on the job. He didn't have any reviews at the time, but I took a leap of faith and I'm glad I did! He took a look at the issue and figured out the problem and began disassembling the gate. Once he had the gate removed he showed me he would need to replace some of the parts. After a short run to home depot he came back with the needed supplies. What was originally a small re-alignment job basically required him to re-install the whole gate from scratch. I watched the entire time and he is very thorough, the prior install was just falling apart and not done well. I also randomly had him install a new mailbox that I was originally planning to do, but I'm glad I had him do it because it didn't end up being as straightforward as we thought due to the age of the prior mailbox and fasteners. Through it all he was friendly, hard working and thorough in his job. After he finished he didn't change the quote even though it was clear that this job was much larger than his original quote. When I offered to pay him more, he told me that was too much which goes to show his honesty and integrity. He was clearly more concerned with doing a good job which was appreciated. We settled on a large tip. All in all, I couldn't be happier with the thoroughness of his work, his ability to adapt to the job, and mostly his honestly and integrity! I will definitely be using him for additional jobs. read more

Pavlo spent an entire day at our home installing blinds, curtain rods, and light fixtures. He also came over another two times to help replace toilets, faucets, and re-do silicone in our bathrooms. He was organized and efficient but also careful and detail-oriented. He's an honest and good human being. I would highly recommend him to anyone needing handyman services! We will definitely be calling him for future projects. read more

Honest, friendly, and hard-working--there's not much more you could hope for in a handyman. Pavlo has done work for us both inside the house and in the garage, and every job was done with care and attention to detail, which was much appreciated. During one visit, street construction blocked car access to our street, and he didn't complain about having to park farther away and walk in with his tools. Great work and a great attitude. Would definitely recommend! read more

Completed the work with good quality and as quoted. I have used service for two different projects.

This guy came out next day and installed an under cabinet range hood. Very professional and I would give 6 out of 6 if I could!

We requested assistance with some kitchen hardware that needed replacement and he was able to come right away. He was very thorough and quick and charged a very fair price. In the very near future we have additional projects in our home and will be calling him back to assist us. read more

We had a tricky repair needed on our stairway. The floorboard was cracking and step moulding was loose which was getting worse as time went by. I wanted someone who could do finish carpentry to maintain the high quality of the original install. Paul the owner from HomeWise was one of a very few repair services that responded when told the details. The others responded with very high quotes or declined the even look at the job. Other carpenters suggested replacing which would have entailed a lot of work. Paul quickly determined the problem and had the right solution. He fixed the broken floorboard and step without having to replace and re-stain it. I highly recommend HomeWise. read more
