The problem is that the townhouse my wife and I own does not retain heat very well. As a result, the heater is on all the time during the winter (even at a low temperature setting). To save on electricity, we wanted to see about getting some new insulation. The owner was very honest with us and said that to replace the old insulation would involve a lot of time and money for a hugely invasive process that might not be worth it in the end. He provided with tons of free information and advice to help make the right decision for us and consider alternative options that didn't involve working with his company. We ended up not using his services, but this company comes strongly recommended for their great customer service and the amount of value we got out of their free consultation!

He didn't seem to remember chatting on the 27th. Fine. I outlined the specs on my house once again. He, oddly, asked if I sent plans over. It was odd to hear I needed to send plans to get a quote for insulation on a house less than 1000 sf. He never asked for plans on October 27. Overall, he frankly acted putout by the idea of giving a quote. And maybe that's why I never got one: even after calling and answering Chris's questions twice. When i finally called the office (no one called me to rectify the situation) they told me they could send someone out today between 930-5pm. The office closes at 5pm, so if dude no shows again there is no one to call. After I requested to speak to a manager I was cold transfered to voicemail with no name and no recording feature. They made solid recommendations and were very easy to work with. The job was completed extremely well and the price was reasonable. I would say they actually exceeded my expectations. The new heat pump is amazing: it is nearly silent and yet it does a great job keeping my home warm. Definitely would recommend Elysian to others looking for a quality heat pump installation.

New insurance claim, and now my insurance premiums will probably be unaffordable if they don't drop me altogether. If only Elysian stood by their work, warranty or not, and if only they cared about very valid concerns expressed by past clients, I wouldn't have all this to deal with now. Again: CONSUMER BEWARE!
