    I hired this company to spray-foam insulate a laundry room and wall of a family room. I can hardly…read moreexpress how badly the job was done. The crew did not come with the right equipment, which was "on the way" and eventually were told by their boss to go to Home Depot to buy the spray foam.Then, they failed to fill the bays between the studs more than 1/8-1/4 of an inch (the contract called for 3"). They used "fire foam" meant to fill cracks in half of the bays, and failed to insulate the ceiling, which was part of the contract. These are just a few of a dozen items in the contract that were done poorly or not done at all. I strongly recommend you NOT use this company.

I'm an engineer, I understand home construction, and I often ask potential contractors questions that I already know the answer to. Every person I met from Dr. Energy Saver was honest and comprehensive with their suggestions and opinions. They earned my trust before they even earned a dollar. This coming summer and winter will be the real judge of the their product, but their service was an instant home run. I believe I got every penny's worth from their work. Talking with Dan on the phone... he may as well be my neighbor. Amiable in every way. Inspection and estimate: Shane was professional, knowledgeable,and came prepared to explain what my options were and show (with pictures) and exactly what I could expect. It was clear that the particulars of my attic that he noted during the inspection were passed on completely to the installation crew. Installation: Chris and his team were polite, considerate, and professional throughout the job. I would personally request them again for any future work. Cleanup: In short, Chris's team totally respected my home. Allowing contractors into your home to do a dirty job can be a scary thing, and some messes can't be avoided. But, they prepared the hallways and stairs beforehand, and did an outstanding job of cleaning up before they left. Embarrassing to admit, but no joke, the hall and stairs were cleaner when they left than before they arrived.

It did take some time for them to respond to my numerous requests, but the result was that they showed that my initial trust in them was warranted. I will continue to do business with them, AND recommend them to anyone seeking a solar energy vendor, as well as anyone seeking to improve their home's energy efficiency.

In my case, that timeline was not met, and I had to request an extension, which I understand may or may not be approved. I potentially lost funding for thousands of dollars. The installation process took significantly longer than originally indicated. My project began in August of last year, and I did not receive permission to operate until mid-April of this year. in my experience, communication was inconsistent, with delays in responses and updates. In early to mid-March, I reached out multiple times and was told there were no updates. After escalating my inquiry, I was later informed that a visit had already been scheduled for the following week, which I had not previously been made aware of. This was confusing and raised concerns for me about how scheduling was communicated. Why are they making in house access appointment without ever confirming with me and telling me no appointment has been made at the same time? During one visit, I observed that the door was left open for periods of time in very cold weather (in the 20s °F), despite my requests to keep it closed. When I raised these concerns, I felt that my feedback was not fully acknowledged, as the responses I received focused more on explanations than on addressing the issues I had raised. Overall, my experience was frustrating and did not meet my expectations for professionalism.
