Unfortunately, my husband's prescriptions were here and I tried to pick them up four different times! One time there wasn't a prescription in- no problem at all. I'll come back tomorrow. The next TWO times, there were SO many people we couldn't even get in the parking lot. I finally was able to get into the drive-through to pick them up on the fourth day, and unfortunately, they lost one of his prescriptions and they would not refill it- due to their error. Super unorganized, unbelievable this is a chain- avoid this establishment at all costs if chaos isn't your thing.

Again, no one comes it out so rather than pushing it a third time I stepped around the counter, grab the correct bin for my last name and grabbed my two photo orders which we're sitting right on top and went to the front register The woman asked me if I needed help in photo and I said not any longer because I just went ahead and grabbed mine. I came straight from work and I have somewhere to be. She says next time, please don't because that is a HIPAA violation I asked her how is that a HIPAA violation what healthcare information is stored behind the photo counter She says just don't go back there then when she tries to ring another item says it has no barcode and looks at me like it's my fault I said, how are you selling items without a barcode? Obviously they aren't so I just paid for my photos and she grabbed my receipt and threw it in the garbage. I stopped and paused and looked at her with my hand out and she says oh did you want your receipt? I said never mind because obviously I didn't have time to wait for her to reprint one then it dawned on me as I walked out the door. The receipt would've had her name on it for me to include in this review about the horrific service and misinformation about HIPAA violations when no one is there to help you get the things that you ordered from them This teaches me not to go to Walgreens in Monroe because they don't want you there. They don't come to the counter. They're rude when you go to another counter and they throw your receipt away horrible service. The manager did reach out to clarify that Hannah, the awful cashier misrepresented that there is no HIPAA information in the photo department Nothing about her rotten attitude

But I felt compelled to leave a review based on the great service that I had at the Cvs over the past couple of weeks. I had recently changed medical insurance and was struggling to get prescription coverage with my temporary card. One of the Technicians, her name is Destiny, helped me over a period of three or four days. She even went as far as calling my medical insurance company to get the necessary codes after I had tried calling and was on hold for 20 minutes. She has always taking the time with me and I never feel rushed to get out so she can move to next customer.

Two additional gripes were I bought something at another medical supply store and paid $2.00 for the item and here it was $5.19 I told them that they are pricey for one of these. The other item I stopped in to see if the sold a large emesis basins and they don't. What medical supply store doesn't carry a larger vomit tub as they give you at a hospital that's a large emesis basin technical name.

Updated store, updated review. New set up, new bottle return room, and even new shopping carts…read more Wider isles, but less stuff in a few categories. They took out some regular check out lanes ( which was never in use). And of course, added self service check out lanes. They even have sushi now. Never did when I lived in Monroe. But many of the same faces on the staff and same service is I was use to having the 15 years I lived here. Will stop monthly when I come down to have thoses white roots covered.
