I really appreciated that he gave me several options to consider instead of pressuring me into one solution. What impressed me most was how clearly he explained everything. Since I know very little about how HVAC systems work, he broke it down in a way that was easy to understand--almost like he was teaching an elementary school student, but in the best way possible. He was patient, knowledgeable, and incredibly skilled. Thank you, All City, for sending someone with Sky's expertise and valueto my home. He's a true asset to your team, and I highly recommend both him and All City!

Jonathan came out and confirmed that that was indeed true. Everything seemed to be going well. Jonathan was very friendly and polite. When it came time for the estimate, he told me it was going to be just under $3,000. That seemed like quite a lot to me for just changing out a blower motor and a capacitor. He also told me that my Rheem furnace couldn't take just any old blower motor and he had to order one special. He said that his company doesn't deal with Rheem because their parts are hard to get. I reluctantly agreed to the repair, which he said would probably take place the next day. Later, he called and said the part wasn't going to arrive for a whole week. This was during one of the hottest weeks of the year in Southern California and I certainly didn't want to be without air conditioning, which runs through my furnace and needs the blower motor. I asked him what my other options were. He told me the only other option I had was to get a whole new system. He explained that he could install the system in only 2 days time or I could wait a whole week and have him repair the blower motor. He also mentioned a 10 year warranty with 1 or 2 years of service from his company. I asked him about the brand and quality of the Furnace that he intended on selling me, which was going to be almost $8,000. He told me it was better than my current system brand and I asked to get it in writing so I could do some research. After not receiving anything in writing I called his company and requested the same thing from them. Shortly after the conversation with his company I received an email specifying the make and model of the new furnace. I researched online and discovered a few interesting things. Number one, Jonathan had lied to me about Rheem parts. I found out from my online research that Reem takes Universal parts and I would not have had to wait until the next week to receive a blower motor that would fit. I also discovered that blower motors and capacitors cost nowhere near $3,000 to install. And finally, the brand of the new furnace that was recommended by Jonathan was nowhere near the quality of the Rheem furnace that I already owned. I canceled the job immediately with the company and again with Jonathan when he called me to find out what was going on. I am still waiting for my refund on the deposit! My contractor friend and I went to an HVAC store and purchased a universal blower motor and capacitor for $180... and installed it ourselves in a couple hours. The system is working perfectly. I don't recommend this business at all. I'm completely confused on why they have such a good rating on Yelp, which is why I picked them to begin with. This was a clear case of trying to take advantage of an old lady in a wealthy neighborhood. Shame on them!! Update: I received a full refund of my deposit and the service fee was completely waived. I got a nice apology from the owner and a manager.

I gave Dion a call, and he showed up at my house within about 10 minutes. He quickly diagnosed the problem, helped me adjust the mounting bracket on the fixture, and got everything set up so I could complete the installation myself. What impressed me most was that he took the time to help, shared his expertise, and didn't charge me a dime. Because of Dion's help, I was able to get the fixture installed without having to replace anything or hire someone for a larger job. It's rare to find someone that responsive, honest, and willing to help. I highly recommend Dion to anyone looking for a knowledgeable and trustworthy electrician.

He even took the time to greet my children and was very warm and friendly with them. Daniel was able to determine that a faulty line/wire was causing the power issues in the bedrooms. After checking the attic, he also discovered some problematic wiring and conditions involving the subpanel. He recommended running new wiring and replacing a damaged breaker in the attic panel, which would not only fix the problem but provide a much safer setup and help prevent potential hazards like an electrical fire. The price was fair, and the work took about two hours, just as he estimated. He worked diligently the entire time without taking a break. I honestly felt bad for him being up in our attic because it had to be easily 120° up there! I offered him water throughout the job, which he graciously accepted. Before leaving, Daniel also gave me an estimate to upgrade our existing breaker box. That price seemed very reasonable as well, especially compared to estimates I've received from other companies in the past. Overall, great experience. Daniel was professional, knowledgeable, friendly, and got the problem taken care of. We'll definitely be reaching out to Nick' Electric again for future electrical repairs and other work. Nick was the first to respond within minutes...at 8 o'clock at night! We FaceTimed him (after seeing all of his five star Yelp reviews) to show him our problem, and he gave immediate advice, which we followed. He said he would be out first thing in the morning. He was! We had to replace a few circuits that were fried and decided to do a full breaker box maintenance (to prevent this from happening again) because it probably hadn't been serviced...ever...in 25 years. Nick went far over and above expectations. He threw in upgrading a garage outlet while he was here and put in a whole house surge protector at a very discounted rate since we went with the full breaker box maintenance package. Our breaker box now looks and works like it is brand new. His work comes with a two year warranty! Nick was extremely personable and honest. I added him to my contacts because we will be contacting him with any future electrical issues. In short, there is a reason for all of the five star reviews, you will rate him with 5 stars as well when call him for service, I guarantee it!

I was able to uninstall the shower head, install the filter and reinstall the shower head in one bathroom, but I didn't have the tools or elbow grease to do the same in the second bathroom. Within minutes of submitting the request, I received a message from Nick with his cell phone number, asking me to send him photos of the work. I texted him and he responded quickly confirming he could do the work with an estimate and potential time to schedule the job. He required a small deposit via Zelle. I was a little skeptical about the deposit, but he affirmed his business means more to him than the deposit and his word is worth more as well. He was able to get me on the schedule the following day and confirmed a time later that evening. That day, he texted me telling me when he was on his way and with an estimated time of arrival. When he arrived, he got straight to work. He confirmed the shower head was REALLY on there! He was able to remove it, as well as the stupid flow restrictor I'd asked the previous plumber to not install--but he did anyway--threaded the connections, and installed the shower filter and shower head quickly. He also gave me an opportunity to douse the shower head in Lime Away before reinstalling! We tested the connection and he made one minor adjustment and then was done! He charged me his minimum rate and it was worth it. Very nice gentleman, very professional and honest! I appreciate he takes Zelle and Venmo.
